For the past few weeks, we have been working on a social studies project which started at looking at Michigan's past and how Henry Ford's Assembly Line has a dramatic change in the world of manufacturing. We have also looked at the present and future to determine what skills and knowledge kids today will need to be successful in the future! As a class, we took a virtual field trip to an Amazon warehouse to see how much factories have changed from the past.

Right now in Michigan, there is a debate on the popular Pure Michigan Campaign and whether it should be funded or not. 4th Graders have been doing research on the topic and in this episode they make their voices heard.
