Today's guest is Josh Cook, he is the founder of Enter the Lion, a ministry for first responders. Josh and Adam discuss critical incidents, post traumatic stress and anxiety that come from a career in Law Enforcement and how Josh has been set free from the bondage of anxiety.

Griffin is an entrepreneur and businessman, having created his own mustache wax. He's also a former firefighter with years of experience. Griffin recently went through a time of faith-building that has led him to move from Texas to Utah as God has directed his path.

Mike and Adam discuss whether pastors should be political or not, especially from the pulpit. Also, should Christians vote? Just a couple of the topics discussed in this latest podcast.

Isaiah 9:6 and 7 tell us some characteristics of the coming Christ, prophesied hundreds of years before He was born.  Adam goes over these characteristics in light of where we are today.

David was chosen to be king of Israel after Saul had disobeyed the Lord. Jesse's eldest sons, though they appeared kingly, were not chosen by God. Why? God told Samuel, "Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart (see 1 Samuel 16:7). Ultimately David was chosen as the next king of Israel. What about David's heart made him the Lord's choice for the throne?

When a police officer or pastor loses their moral authority, can they ever get it back? How does one lose their influence? Mike and Adam discuss the importance of maintaining our morality, especially in the ministry. They also discuss a pastor who has recently been in the spotlight for the wrong reasons.

Recently an opinion piece was published in the NY Times expressing the opinion that God was brutal.  It even compared God to Putin's war on Ukraine.  Here's my opinion as a believer.

Good Friday was rough for the disciples.  Saturday was dark and depressing.  What they didn't know is Sunday was going to bring new life!  The same goes for us.  Times are dark right now, but Jesus is coming back soon!

Felix is a former firefighter, police officer and a veteran.  Felix has a ministry called the Word on the Street that can be found at www.thewordonthestreet.org.  You can also follow him on Instagram and Facebook under the same name.  Felix has a wild story from East LA to being in two separate traffic collisions with drunk drivers.  His story brought him to a low point in his life where he me Christ.  His is an incredible story worth hearing.

This passage of Scripture framed the conversation with Mike and Adam this week.  

There is a great deception being pushed in the world today.  Everything from the plandemic to the war in Ukraine, the media has an agenda that is becoming more and more obvious.  As first responders, we need to know the truth before we ever set foot into the world, or we'll be susceptible to any lie that comes our way.  The best way to identify a counterfeit is to be so familiar with the authentic that any fake will be easily distinguished.  In Matthew 24, the first thing Jesus said to the disciples regarding end times was "Be sure you are not deceived".  It seems that is one of the main signs we are to be aware of, and it's happening all around.

In Revelation 6 we are introduced to what we now call the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.  With them come all sorts of horrors, such as hyperinflation, plagues, famines, war and more.  With what is currently happening on the world scene, it appears to us these horses are saddled and ready to ride.  It's just a matter of time.  Only God knows the day and the hour as to when these things will kick off.  We need to know what is going on as it concerns Bible prophecy.  Why?  Because it's in the Bible.

In this bonus episode, Adam was able to sit down with Chaplain Jim Crowley to talk about his life in retirement.  Jim talks about some of the methods he's using to help his mental and spiritual health, to include gratitude.

Jim was the co-founder of Central Oregon Public Safety Chaplaincy and spent several years caring for law enforcement and fire personnel in their day to day duties.  He still enjoys training up peers in Critical Incident Stress Management.

What characteristics do the modern Christian man portray?  Is he harmless and straight laced?  Some of the most dangerous men throughout our history have been Christian men.    

Weakness is not to be confused with meekness.  The modern Christian man needs to be prepared to stand for what is right, even if it means getting our hands dirty.  Enjoy this latest podcast with Mike and Adam.

Sometimes anxiety will manifest itself due to a lack of faith.   Michael and Adam discuss this topic in light of the recorded healings Jesus performed in Matthew, and the emphasis He placed on faith.  In one case, Jesus "marveled" at a man's faith.  In another case, the disciples "marveled" at Jesus's calming of a storm, due to their lack of faith.

Well this is an unpleasant topic, but one we cannot ignore.  A law enforcement couple who committed suicide recently in Florida, and several line of duty deaths have caught our attention and are very deserving of at least a conversation.  Mike and Adam discuss these topics and give a little hint as to what the next topic will be.

The horrors of hell aren't often discussed, but they should be.  Jesus spoke of hell on several occasions and in this video we discuss just one of them.  People aren't sent to hell, they choose it.  

If someone decides they don't want anything to do with Jesus, they don't want anything to do with God, the only place to escape is in hell.  Hell was created for the devil and his angels.  You and I have a choice, and it's the most important decision of our lives.  #faith #christianity
