Ep 29: Denia Hubbard
In the early morning hours of November 24, 1987, a passerby traveling on US 431 in the Big Cove area found the lifeless body of 23-year-old Denia Ann Hubbard. What seemed like a terrible hit-and-run, potentially by an 18-wheeler, took a darker turn as the investigation unfolded. Join us as we discuss Denia’s atrocious and nearly unknown case.

Ep 28 - Jennifer Powers
On July 12, 2008, a Harvest, Alabama family would start the day that changed their lives forever. Sometime before morning, their wife, mother, daughter, and sister, Jennifer Fay Powers, had disappeared. Though it wasn’t clear to authorities in the beginning, they came to the conclusion that Jennifer had likely been murdered. Join us along with Jennifer’s daughter, Katelyn Poteete, as we discuss her mother’s case.

Ep 26, Pt 3: Mont Highley, IV
In November of 2003, Mont Highley’s life was full of possibilities and adventure. He’d recently interviewed with a North Carolina company and was awaiting their hiring decision, the holidays and family time were upon him, and he was looking forward to spending time hunting with his father on Saturday after spending Thanksgiving with his family. On that Friday evening, November 28, the night before their planned father-son hunting time, Mont said his goodbyes and left his parents’ home for their Shorter, AL camp they nicknamed “the farm.” It would be the last time they would see or speak to him. Shock and grief would fall upon the Highley family when he’s found murdered 6 weeks later, only a few short miles from the farm.
In this final episode of our three-part series, we delve deep into the aftermath of Mont's disappearance and the shocking discovery of his murder just a few short miles from "the farm." Join us as we continue our conversation with #CaptainScottBonner from #VoyagerLabs, shedding light on the additional background of this chilling case.

Ep 25: Carmell Harrell

Ep 24: Philip N. Shelton, T. Ricky Terry, and John W. Johnson
Our cases this week take us to the small town of Moulton in Lawrence Co Alabama.
26-year-old Phillip Newton Shelton was reported missing by his father on July 18, 1991. While Phillip's car was found shortly after his disappearance. His remains weren't found until June of 2003, less than a mile from where his car had been located.
A cousin found 33-year-old Thomas Ricky Terry, Ricky, slumped over in his red pickup truck - he had been shot 6 times at close range from a .22 caliber weapon. The evidence seemed clear but not enough to make any arrests, yet.
In July of 2021, 37-year-old John Wesley Johnson left his Hillsboro home in the Mountain Home community near Moulton. No one could report which direction he was headed and he’s never been seen or heard from since.
If you have any information on these cases, please call:

Ep 23: HHardwick KStubbs JEntrekin RRobinson JSims
This week we are extending our visit from last week in Jefferson County where we’re sharing a few cases due to their either lack of information or little progress. Joel Hardwick brought us the curiously unsolved shooting death of his brother Heulon "Juice" Hardwick that occurred 26 years ago. *A quick update to be added to the beginning of Huelon's case: Sincere apologies for mispronouncing Huelon's name in the episode. We've been in contact with his brother to extend our apologies as well. In 2014, Kierra Stubs, mother of 2, disappears after a seemingly harmless meet-up with an acquaintance to get her car breaks done. Ramondus Robinson visited with his father, later went to a club, and then, after leaving with 2 men in the early morning hours of May 23, 2019, he vanished. Joseph Entrekin checked out of a treatment facility in March of 2021 and nearly immediately after, while his mother was with him on his cell phone listening, was chased by unknown persons and never seen again. And a very bizarre case of a 14-year-old child, Jason Sims, Jr, whom almost no one seems to know ever existed, who was reported missing in 2015, but truthfully, it’s not known when he disappeared.
If you have any information regarding these cases, please reach out to the following contacts:
- For Huelon’s case, please contact Birmingham PD’s Homicide Division at 205-254-1764
- For Kierra’s case, contact the Birmingham PD at 205-328-9311
- For Ramondus’ or Joseph’s case, please contact Birmingham PD Special Victims Services at 205-297-8413
- Jason Jr’s, contact Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office at 205-325-5700 or https://jeffcosheriffal.com/submit-a-tip/

Ep. 20: Ryles Chapman
In Ep. 20 of #Unforgotten, we delve into the perplexing case of Ryles Chapman, a man who mysteriously disappeared from Dothan, Alabama in 2013. Join us as we uncover the details surrounding his vanishing and share the heartfelt perspectives of those closest to him. Our guests for this episode are Wes Chapman, Chelsie Trammell, and Dothan Investigator Curtis Stephens, each offering unique insights into the investigation. However, the most poignant interview comes from Saylor, Ryles' precious daughter, who wanted to share her own thoughts and feelings about her dad. Ep 19: James "Aaron" Toole

Ep 18: Spc Chad Langford, US Army - Part 3
This week we conclude our discussion with Michael Fleming from Echo 7 Foxtrot & Secrets True Crime regarding the suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of Army Specialist Chad Wayne Langford. Military Police discovered Chad outside his patrol car, a victim of a gunshot wound to the head. However, his family vehemently challenges the Army's ruling of suicide, as Chad had claimed to be working undercover on a covert drug investigation.
If you haven't listened to Parts 1 & 2 yet, please consider doing so before taking this last ride to the scene of discovery and beyond in this intriguing conclusion. A map and timeline have been posted on our Unforgotten Patreon channel for Brush Pass subscribers.

Ep 8: William Charles "Pete" Fikes
In February of 2023, Georgia officials positively identified remains discovered in Chambers County as 22-year-old Kyle Clinkscales. Clinkscales and his Pinto Roundabout vanished 47 years ago on a trip from LaGrange, GA, back to Auburn University. In 2021, Clinkscales' car was discovered in a creek in Chambers County with remains and belongings still inside.
To read more about Kyle's case, see "The Remains of a Son Missing for Nearly 50 Years are Identified," The New York Times
41-year-old William Charles "Pete" Fikes left his grandmother's Jasper home around 9:00 or 9:30 am on November 29, 1976, in his father's 1972 Plymouth Valiant and was never seen or heard from again. In the four years after his disappearance, the Fikes' car was located almost an hour away when a Jasper PD happened to stumble upon a forged bill of sale dated one day after Pete was last seen, and dried blood was allegedly found in the car; the upper portion of a human skull was located near a Sipsey dump site that had been previously searched, which state officials later identified as matching Pete; and Perry Mixon, who may have been in jail at the time of Pete's disappearance, was arrested on robbery-murder charges that don't appear to have ever moved forward.

Ep 7: Michael Burney & Tabitha Franklin
David "Michael" Burney left his Vinemont, AL home on June 29, 2007 to visit his daughters in Georgia. Michael stopped at the Jet-Pep gas station in Battleground, AL. This would his last known sighting. In late August of 2007, David's car was located, abandoned in the Bankhead Forest in Winston County, with no sign of him. 15 years later, David Michael Burney's whereabouts remain a mystery. (Please note a correction in this description. Michael's car was found in 2007 as now shown above. It previously said August of 2012. The podcast episode was correct, just a typo here. Also we have learned that he was supposed to be heading to visit his 3 daughters, not 2 as we previously had thought. We've also recently heard from a family member that David Michael Burney went by his middle name, Michael. Apologies to Michael's family for the errors.) #WhereIsDavidMichaelBurney #DavidMichaelBurney
Tabitha Franklin was last seen on August 13. 2009, just 33 days before her 28th birthday. Reports say she was at a Vinemont home where a few friends or acquaintances were living at the time. At some point, Tabitha called an ex-boyfriend, who claimed he picked Tabitha up and drove to Hueytown, where he dropped her off at his place of employment while he ran errands. He stated when he returned, Tabitha was gone. There are reports claiming Tabitha never made it to Hueytown. Tabitha's family has remained dedicated in their efforts to locate her. Sadly, the search continues. #WhereIsTabithaFranklin #TabithaLynnFranklin

To learn more about the death of Anthony Mitchell and the lawsuits filed against the Walker County Sheriff's Office, visit our blog.
17-year-old Kemberly Ramer vanished from her home in Opp, AL, the night of 8/15/97. Over 20 years later, the search for Kem continues.
If you have any information regarding the disappearance of Kemberly Ramer, please contact the Opp Police Department at 334-493-4511 or oppcid@opppolice.com or the FBI at 251-438-3674. You can also submit an anonymous tip to the FBI.

In the early morning hours of May 8, 1999, James "Amp" Reynolds, Lamar Stackhouse, Tamara Ward, Eula Lee, Angela Young, and Valerie McCoy disappeared while driving, presumably, back to Enterprise from The Hideaway Club in Opp. Four months later, the car the group had been traveling in - a Chevy Caprice owned by Stackhouse - was discovered submerged in Pea River with the remains of 5 of the 6 friends still inside. Forensic experts could find no evidence that Amp had been in the Caprice and searches of the surrounding area turned up no sign of Amp. His whereabouts today are still unknown.

On the evening of December 12, 2017, Kerry Payne expected her 18-year-old son Christian Boyle to show up any time to do laundry like he said he was going to do, but he never didn’t. Over the couple of weeks, Christian’s family and friends would scour the Cleveland area in Blount County looking for signs of Christian and/or his car. On Christmas night, thirteen agonizing days later, Kerry received a phone call that a group of people riding ATVs had spotted Christian’s car near Cold Branch Road and that Christian had been found shot to death near his car. Although they’ve not been named publicly, Blount County Sheriff’s Office has identified two primary suspects, but they say there’s not enough evidence to make an arrest.
Over 5 years later, Christian’s case remains an open investigation with the Attorney General’s Cold Case Unit. #JusticeforChristianBoyle #WhoKilledChristian
