We had special guest Allison Sullivan, who spoke on ecumenism, which describes how we as Catholics can relate to our non-Catholic and non Christian brothers and sisters. Christopher Lafitte gives us an intro to St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body and leaves us with a few practicals of how we can flourish as college students in the modern world.

Have you ever experienced failure in school, in relationships or in life in general? In this talk, Amanda discusses the meaning of suffering, perseverance, and how to allow "failures" to be helpful data instead of dead ends.

In this talk presented to 550 college aged men, Fr. Mike Schmitz reflects on the Marks of Manhood and how college men can tangibly grow in virtue. Fr. Mike also speaks into the lies presented by the world to the feminine and masculine heart in whom only a father has the power to speak words of healing Truth into such brokenness. Fr. Mike concluded by challenging the men to begin now as college students to prepare in prayer and chastity for their future bride.

Fr. Mike was our special guest at Rudder Auditorium for a special on-campus version of Magnify. He spoke about the importance of bringing Jesus with us in our daily lives the same way that he accompanied Peter in the boat in Luke 5. He also had a lot of fun experiencing some of Texas A&M's traditions!

Join Fr. Chris as he helps us to deepen our understanding of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Fr. Chris will focus on the purpose of the Mass, how we can more fully participate in this great mystery, and how we can allow the Mass to transform our lives.

What does Christian friendship look like? Is there such a thing as emotional chastity between guys and girls? How does dating in college play into all of this? We hope you enjoy this talk by Fr. Chris and our campus minister Carolyn Baudoin!

Has your prayer life been a little dry lately? This week at The Oratory Sister Clara discussed Lectio Divina, which is a way to pray intimately with scripture.

In this first episode of The Oratory, Fr. Chris discusses the basics of prayer, including tips on how to enter into prayer and make it a habit. He also discusses the ARRR method of prayer, which provides some great starting blocks to talk with God, even if you haven't really prayed in a while. The more vulnerable and intimate you are with God, the more intimate your relationship with Him will be.

Our former pastor, Bishop Mike Sis, joined us as the guest speaker for Magnify! He discussed how to have a fruitful Lent. 

Our guest speaker Micheal Gormley spoke on Jesus' atonement and answered the questions: why does God allow Jesus to suffer on our behalf when we are the sinners? How does the atonement satisfy God’s desire both for mercy and justice? And was Christ able to freely choose his death on the cross?
