The phrase "I need Jesus" has been on my heart for a while now. Together, we'll chat about our need for God and how He lovingly pursues us. Never forget: We need God. He doesn't need us, yet He wants us!

We’re all broken. We’re all battling something. We all need Jesus. Don’t allow shame to shackle you any longer! If you’ve been redeemed by Jesus, you are FREE INDEED!!

In today’s episode, I share my insecurities of being overlooked by people and how God has revealed that I am seen by Him. We’ll also chat about navigating the highs and lows of our daily lives while marching towards what God has promised us! Thats right, this episode is PACKED with vulnerability, honesty and truth! I have always loved reading God’s Word. I grew up learning the value of God’s Word and here I am 10 YEARS LATER since accepting Jesus still soaking in His goodness – page by page! Today, I am sharing 3 things I personally love about the Lord’s Word, and I hope it encourages you to crack open the Bible and fall in love with it yourself!

Boundaries are easy to set, but difficult to maintain. I believe that we can more successfully stick with the goals we set by doing these three simple steps. If you’ve set goals in the past but had a hard time sticking to them, then this episode is for you!

I’ve been so focused on the pursuit, glance and attention of a guy that I’ve lost sight of where my true worth and value abides – in the Lord. My heart has been exposed constantly and I’ve been surrendering myself to the Lord consistently and I’m only on CHAPTER 5!!!! Today, I’m encouraging you and I to LAY IT ALL DOWN before the Lord  – every fear, every worry, every disappointment, every dream and every desire. Let’s do this together!

Special guest, Kreston Parker (21), talks about his mindset as a freshman in college and how he was tempted to do all the “college things”, but then he experienced an interruption from God. Alexis and Kreston discuss the importance of having Christ-centered organizations on college campuses and the beauty of discipling students to grow in their relationship with the Lord. Kreston went from an attendee of the Christian organization, Cru, on his campus to now becoming a part-time staff member discipling students daily.

Unfortunately, college comes with a lot of distractions that can deviate us from where God wants to take us, which is why finding godly people and living out our God-given purpose on campus is so important.

We all struggle with something, but we no longer have to be defined by what we struggle with. We can be defined by the grace God gives us in the midst of our struggles. You may struggle, but you are NOT the struggle. There is grace for you! Our sin does not run deeper than God’s salvation. As we look at the story of a woman in John 8, the same truth God shared with her, He wants to speak to us.
