That's why a lot of people don’t do it or stop. Here are 3 tips to help you:   Write for your own eyes only. Your task is to leave your inner critic behind the door and express yourself freely and without judgment.   5-10 minutes of journaling is enough. There is a myth that you need to write a few pages in one sitting to call it “journaling.” Writing just a few sentences in the beginning, is enough.  Create a writing routine that suits your schedule  Timeblock a few journaling minutes for yourself at the time of the day that suits you best. It can be in the morning after breakfast or in the evening before falling asleep.

Why Does Journaling Useful for Creators and Enterpreunures?

Why Does Journaling Useful for Creators and Enterpreunures?

Get Alex’s New Book for Free: 15 Journaling Secrets - How To Establish Consistent Journaling Habit For Better Thinking And Self Understanding. https://alezozov.com/b  What’s the secret to the humble notepad and a pen? Journaling works on two levels: on the emotional and the thinking. First, It helps to express our emotions rather than suppress them. And suppressing emotions can be harmful to both the mind and body. And when you put words on paper, you put your feelings on paper instead of holding them inside. Second.  We get used to processing things using language. When you write things on paper, you put your beliefs, desires, and experiences in language. And this helps to understand them better, which leads to growth and change. We can write emotions and put our feelings and thoughts on paper in a black-and-white format and feel more piece of mind.

Get Alex’s New Book for Free: 15 Journaling Secrets - How To Establish Consistent Journaling Habit For Better Thinking And Self Understanding. https://alezozov.com/b  You write only one word at a time, right?  When you write your thoughts by hand in your journal, your overthinking decreases… This is because your thought speed starts to match your writing. So it makes your thinking slow down, which brings more clarity. The best part is you don’t need to do this for a long time to see results. Just 5-10 minutes of journaling exercise can bring good results. This is an incredibly beneficial exercise for creators and entrepreneurs who are constantly bombarded by information, especially gadgets and the internet. And journaling in nature, unplugged from the phone, is a powerful rest. #creators #clarity #mindfulnes #entrepreneur #success #writing #journalwriting #mindset #journal

Get Alex’s New Book for Free: 15 Journaling Secrets - How To Establish Consistent Journaling Habit For Better Thinking And Self Understanding. https://alezozov.com/b  When you focus all your attention on writing about your thoughts, it makes you slow down. While writing, you can’t think about a few thoughts simultaneously. Only one thing. This brings you into the here and now at this moment. You start looking at your thoughts more objectively, which calms you down. This way, you start recognizing patterns in your thinking.  You externalize overthinking into a paper, making your mind calmer and more organized. From there, you can step on the way of thinking differently about events, problems, and decisions. After that, it is easier to make the required change if necessary.

How to stop reacting negatively, get more peace of mind and understand yourself better using 5 steps emotional reframing exercise in your journal - ThinkGym Journaling Method by Alex Zozovsky

How to stop reacting negatively, get more peace of mind and understand yourself better using 5 steps emotional reframing exercise in your journal - ThinkGym Journaling Method by Alex Zozovsky

How to stop reacting negatively, get more peace of mind and understand yourself better using 5 steps emotional reframing exercise in your journal. This simple exercise helped me and others to understand themselves better, sleep better, eliminate anxiety, and develop self-awareness. Reflect on when you were stressed, reacted negatively to someone else, or were overthinking. You can take some events from Your Life Road exercise. For example, some time ago in the evening, I was sitting in my rented apartment when somebody knocked on my door. I opened it and saw my landlord with a worried face. He said he would significantly raise the rent price without hesitation. I felt an immediate adverse emotional reaction because I would use my extra money for more important things than paying for higher rent. So I said something out of my emotional state and closed the door behind his nose. Here I how I worked through this event that happened to me in my journal later on. It has 5 stages: Situation, Why, Benefit, Limiting belief, and Lesson. You can divide the page of your journal into 5 horizontal parts or write each step under the other vertically. In the "Situation" section, write about the situation that happened to you. In my case: I got angry with my landlord when he unexpectedly decided to raise the price, and I said something to him that I would not say otherwise. Why. Ask yourself questions to uncover more details about the situation: Why did this happen to me? Why did the other person behave in such a way with me? Why did I behave in such a way? Using these questions, try to look at yourself and other people from different perspectives and understand what is happening. My answer: It occurred to me because I want to always be in control and for the world to work the way I want it to. Most likely, my landlord behaved this way because he had a newborn child not long ago and now he needs more money to feed his family… One of the ways to do it for him is to raise the price of an apartment. I replied angrily to him because I was unprepared for this event and forgot that life could be unpredictable. Benefit. In everything that happens to us, we can find something positive. In my case: First: I could move to the other apartment for the same price or slightly higher but with better conditions. Second: It reminded me that only one thing is constant and change. Third: I need to be less emotional when life fails. Limiting belief. Write about your limiting beliefs that these situations showed to you: 1) Everything needs to be static - change is not good; 2) I need hardly protect the current state of things, and there are no better options; 3) Unexpected things happening to me are potential threats. Lesson. Make a summary of your learning experience for your future reference:  Everything is temporary, and everything that happens is happening for the better (because I moved to a much better apartment for almost the same price).

8 Journaling Prompts for Anxiety Relief | Journaling for Mental Health

8 Journaling Prompts for Anxiety Relief | Journaling for Mental Health

In this episode I will show you how to use journaling to Stop Anxiety.  In this episode, I will share the prompts and questions I ask myself in a journal to help me fight anxiety.  Get To FREE 10 Journaling Prompts to Stop Anxiety (in PDF format): https://mindgifts.org/lead/journaling-10-stop-anxiety  Get 3 free videos of Think in a Journaling Challenge Course here: https://bit.ly/my-thinking-journal  #anxiety #journaling #prompts #journal #worry  This habit helps transfer the energy of worrying and overthinking into movement and doing the things at hand.  Before moving to prompts, it’s important to say that anxiety is a regular thing.  I also have anxiety when I create videos, when I write texts, or when I program.  As I have it, a lot of people have anxiety too. But all the difference lies in how we cope with stress.  There are different ways people react and deal with anxiety. If we don’t cope with anxiety properly, it can block our productivity. It can stop us from pushing forward, creating results, and being healthy. It’s also important to note that anxiety appears when we go outside our comfort zone. If we want something to achieve in our life, we certainly need to go outside of our comfort zone.  Simply because everything that we want in life lives beyond our comfort zone. And when we go outside of it — usually anxiety and worries rise. Our task with journaling tools and questions is to think about how we can make stress our friend.  Our task is to develop ideas to make them work for us instead of against us.  And in fact, mother nature created anxiety to work in this way for purpose.  Because it triggers worrying in our nervous system that helps us cope with problems and difficulties in our environment and pushes us forward. So let’s discover how we can convert anxiety and worries into movement, energy, and a productive state.  So the first anti-anxiety question that I wrote in my journal is this: Write a detailed list of things that worry your mind. Pay attention to your anxiety levels after finishing writing. Stop writing when nothing else comes into your mind. I’m a little bit not comfortable sharing them…  But anyway, here are my answers: When do I build my family, and where to find my partner for a successful marriage? How to constantly be in a productive state and be in a creative mindset to produce top results? How to get to desired results faster and with fewer mistakes…?  So your task in using this prompt is to dump everything overwhelming in your mind.  All the worries that make you not productive, stuck, and those that make you stressed.  Great, let’s move to the next journal question. And it sounds like this: Remember past situations when you were successful despite being anxious. How did I manage to achieve positive results, and why?  So my answer is simple: When writing my first small book, I felt intense anxiety that so much work was to be done that it made me depressed. anxious and how you worked through this. Let’s say I have anxiety about something I need to do.  Then I remind myself that I already had done intense, complex things in the past. In other words, I often remind myself that I was able to cope with all the problems of my life before. That I am already a fighter.

14 Effective Journaling Prompts to Increase Your Self-Esteem

14 Effective Journaling Prompts to Increase Your Self-Esteem

This video will show you how to use journaling to increase your self-esteem.  Get 14 FREE Effective Journaling Prompts to Rise Your Self-Esteem (in PDF format):  https://mindgifts.org/lead/journaling-14-selfesteam-prompts  Get 3 free videos of Think in a Journaling Challenge Course here:  https://bit.ly/my-thinking-journal  If you are struggling with negative thoughts about your abilities to perform in life, work, and go to your dreams, then you are in the right place. I will show you eight journaling prompts you can ask yourself in your journal and get unstuck from low self-esteem.  I have just finished my journal session, and I am very excited to share with you these journaling questions that can increase your self-esteem and push you forward to your dreams, and we'll help you accomplish your wildest desires.  “Confront the dark parts of yourself, and work to banish them with illumination and forgiveness.  Your willingness to wrestle with your demons will cause your angels to sing.”  And all the prompts I wrote in my journal for self-esteem that I will share with you will attack your low self-esteem and raise it to heights.  Let's read the first question: What negative things do people say about me that I start to believe and continue feeding these thoughts about me that have no objective evidence?  And here is the answer I wrote: Some people told me in the past that I am not capable of doing X, that I need to stay on one thing and not move into a not familiar zone. I invested some face in it, which negatively influenced my self-confidence and self-esteem.  And this is a compelling question. It helps you to think about external criticisms you get from other people and ask yourself: Do you really continue feeding these thoughts right now? Do you really continue thinking about them as if they are true?  Maybe it's time, to tell the truth that they are not real, that this is only other people's opinion.  And they are not familiar with your talents, capabilities, and ability to perform in life.  When answering this journal question, it's essential to understand that the external world only validates what is already inside of you.  So if, for example, I have low self-esteem and an external person says I am incapable of doing something. Then he only triggers thoughts that are already in my head. And your task here is to stop feeding these negative thoughts and false beliefs with faith that this is true.  This is not true. It's not your true nature.  When you were born and when I was born, we were gifted by God with all we have right now with our life, bodies, faces, skin, talents, and so on.  We didn't earn these things.  We just receive it from nature, from God.  We were created in this way and are worthy from the beginning.  Our worth is not under question.  Self-esteem is another thing.  It's when we look at ourselves and say we are not worthy of God-given talent; this is a big problem we need to solve.  The next question I designed in the journal sounds like this:  Tell yourself words of encouragement and compliments.  What do I love and admire about myself? This question is natural because you need to remind yourself, remember what qualities you have that are tremendous and that are great.

Limours are cute animals, but they sleep for about 16 hours daily. I am not limour, and I do not sleep 16 hours a day. But sometimes, I procrastinate even more, not only for 16 hours but maybe a few days and weeks. And nobody explained resistance and why we procrastinate better than Steven Pressfield in his book, the War of Art. And he said like this: “The more resistance you experience, the more important your unmanifested art, project, or enterprise is for you. And the more gratification you will feel when you finally do it.” So, as I said, I am a great procrastinator, but at the same time, I know myself very well. That's why I developed special techniques, prompts, and questions I ask myself in my journal. I answer these prompts and questions, and they help me to get unstuck from my not-productive state and get back from procrastination to productive work. And I just finished my journal session on procrastination in my journal. And I want to share with you these eight great questions. You can ask yourself them in your journal, and they will help you get unstuck from procrastination and get back to productive work. So just in a moment, I will share it with you. But before that, I want to tell you a few tips. There are eight prompts that touch on your procrastination from different points. It's not a linear approach. These questions are different, and they attack your procrastination from different angles. And this will help you definitely get unstuck and get productive again. The first question for journaling for anti-procrastination is: What positive experience will I not have if I don't do this work? Why did I plan to do this task initially? This question has two sides. One is a carrot, and one is a stick, and together they are in one question. People often are more scared to lose something than to gain. For example, it's one case, if I go on the street and find a $100 bill. But if I lose a $100 bill, it's much more painful for me. It gives me much more struggle because people don't like to lose. And when you write and answer these questions, you begin to remember why did you start to do this work initially. Because if you don't do this work, you will lose something. You will lose some opportunities, something to do in your life that is not possible without doing the work at your hands. In my case, I wrote the answer to this question: I will be guilty if I do not work, progress on my goal, and stay on the same point. No progress, no complete joy of accomplishment. I planned it because I needed to become free and independent. And now, let's move to the next question. And the next question is: What is holding me back from starting right now?  And it's a great question because I struggled to film this article for you. After all, I procrastinated. I was procrastinating on writing a procrastination article :) And that's why it's a good question to answer in a journal. So here is my answer: I'm afraid there is so much to do to accomplish this work that I don't know where to start. Also, I didn't plan this work and this article. So I was not prepared. It's a good case to answer this question because often, we have some emotion that stops us from going forward. It's not because we are lazy. It's not because we don't want to do the work....

When we are just three feet away from our purposes, we give up because we are emotionally down and feel bad… That's why I will share with you three essential lessons and three unique stories that I would be utterly different if somebody had shared with me 10 years ago. So read to the end to explore them for your benefit. The first story is from the unique and powerful book “Think and Grow Rich.” A lot of famous and wealthy people read this book many times. And for example, the founder of Telegram, Pavel Durov, read it 10 or more times. And he says that his fantastic success is because of reading this powerful book… So back to the story. A gold digger read in one newspaper that there was a tremendous opportunity where he could go and dig and find a lot of gold near Northern California. He went there, and he found that there was a little bit of gold there. He started digging and got a bit more gold… which was a good sign. He went back to his family and said: “Excellent”! We will be billionaires! He gathered money from this family to purchase equipment and used that equipment to dig for his gold. He returned to the gold mines he had discovered and started exploring them more carefully. He dug and dug, and he got more and more gold. But the problem was that the next time he started digging… there was no gold. He was searching, and there was gold. Now there was no gold. He got into a nasty mood. In fact, he was absolutely depressed. He decided to give up. He went and saw a garbage collector, a man, a poor man that was collecting garbage around those gold mines… He said to this junk man: “Do you want this equipment? I will sell it to you.” And the garbage collector said: “okay.” And he sold his equipment for his gold mine digging for pennies to this garbage collector. But the garbage collector was a brilliant guy. He decided to go to an expert, and he asked for his opinion on what he thought about this place for digging gold. And the expert said: “you know what, there is an ample opportunity and that man who sold this equipment to you didn't know a critical fact about that place… You need to dig a little bit from the right side, not where he was digging, but from the right side, because there is some seismic shift.” So this poor man collecting garbage took this equipment and started digging where the expert told him to explore. And to his great amazement, he found that there were a lot of opportunities to collect gold there. He collected so much gold that he was just shocked. It was the biggest gold mine in the area. The first lesson you can extract from this story is that you can talk with some expert before completely giving up on your idea or dream. That's why the main takeaway from this story is before giving up, try different approaches. Don't stop where you are right now. When things go south. When they don't go as you wish and take longer for you to accomplish … don't stop. Try different approaches. Try different ways of achieving your goal.

Change Your Life With Journaling - 4 Lessons On Journaling From Einstein

Change Your Life With Journaling - 4 Lessons On Journaling From Einstein

Get  14 FREE Journaling Prompts to Rise Your Self-Esteem in PDF format: https://mindgifts.org/lead/journaling-14-selfesteam-prompts  Get 3 free videos of Think in a Journaling Challenge Course here:  https://bit.ly/my-thinking-journal There is a critical habit that, if you start using it, can dramatically improve your life. What is the common practice among geniuses like Martin Luther King, Einstein, Nicola Tesla, Mahatma Gandhi, and so on? I will not make you wait for the answer… The answer is they all had journaling habits. That's why read to the end because I will share with you four essential tips and takeaways from Einstein's journaling habit and how you can use it in your daily life, improve it, and change it positively. The first thing I want to share with you regarding journaling and Einstein's habits is not about a severe part, because if you think about Einstein, you think about a genius creating physics formulas and so on. But let's look at it from another angle and see how Einstein combines his sophisticated mind and physics habits with playing because play and a play state can help you relax your mind and think creatively about the world, nature, and so on. So journaling can be used to be creative and to be playful. For example, when I studied Einstein's journals, I figured out that sometimes he took a break on some pages, solved some puzzles, or drew pictures. And these pictures and relaxation in his journal helped him to unplug his mind. And new, fresh ideas came so he could express them… And this is a tip you can also take for your journey and your benefit: not be too serious about work… Because right now, the world goes a little crazy about all the productivity and all the hard work you need to do. Of course, achieving big dreams and excess positions, which were not possible before, in your life is crucial, but this relaxation and playful state can help you achieve it much faster. That's because your brain can't be all-time in the form of pressure… When you think about how you can use a journal to draw and play in it and maybe play musical instruments or play with the ball… Or do some sports outside, which can relax you and help you achieve your work goals much easier and faster. So let's move to the next step. And the following suggestion is that journaling can help you stick with your hard work for longer. Let's say, for example, you want to write a book or a poem or draw a beautiful drawing, or you are a photographer that needs to capture that particular moment, or you are creating a video course or YouTube video… or any other creative work. So then you need to stick with this work for an extended period. And Einstein is an excellent example of this. Because if you study his Zurich notebook, it's a beautiful piece of inspiration for you. Why? Because Einstein had been developing his ideas for years. It took him like 10 years to publish his theory of relativity. It took him years to draw different formulas, thoughts, and conclusions of his thinking in his journal in his notebook. And he can be an inspiration for you… Especially when your ideas need to take a lot of time for execution. Because great things don't happen overnight. From Einstein's journaling, you can learn how to incorporate deep work into your life because deep work right now is rare. People have very low attention spans. That's why they can't concentrate on one task for a long time. And journaling can help you establish this habit of focusing on one thing for a long time.

Financial Literacy - interview with Marci S. Grossman founder of www.moneymarci.com

Financial Literacy - interview with Marci S. Grossman founder of www.moneymarci.com

In this episode of the MindGifts podcast, I interviewed Marci S. Grossman. You can find more and get in touch with her at: www.moneymarci.com  msmarcig@gmail.com  Marci Grossman on LinkedIn Some of the questions Marci talked about in the interview: What is financial literacy, and why is this important? Financial literacy is the knowledge of money matters, an understanding of the money information you need to make good decisions. Common money mistakes that people make - not having a plan, spending money you don’t have, and not making the time to ‘own’ your money. What does budgeting mean, and how to handle it? Budgeting is having a plan of expectation for your money coming in and going out. Emotions and money. How can both be in peace? It is essential to make financial decisions from a place of information and logic, but remember to check in with the emotional aspects. Don’t spend money if it doesn’t ‘feel right. Figure out what feels wrong about it. Are you spending money for the right reasons? How to manage money as a couple? COMMUNICATE What to do during separation? COMMUNICATE What should parents teach their children about money? Money is an asset with limitations. Let them make mistakes. Tell me about debt. When is debt necessary, and when is it not? How to properly pay out debt, best practices? Debt is when you have spent more than you had. Ignoring home and car (since they are rarely paid out of pocket), Ih and education are the only reason to go into debt. But that’s not the reality of life, people sometimes have to go into debt for other reasons. Hopefully, temporarily, due to situations beyond their control (family, work issues). To get out of debt, you must make a plan and commit to it. Some best advice about saving and investment - make it a priority. Don’t let only having a small amount to contribute stop you from saving and investing. When to lease/buy/rent? This isn't very easy due to individual situations. For a house, I don’t recommend buying unless you are planning to stay there for a while (ignoring house flippers, etc.). Otherwise, you are ‘playing the market, 'which can be very financially risky. I’ve always been a buyer of cars, but that is based on how I drive. I hold onto a car for ten years, and it ends up cheaper than leasing, and I have something for a downpayment on my next vehicle. It would depend on your finances, miles, and car usage expectations. Marci S. Grossman is a 2nd generation Certified Public Accountant with a passion for helping people to understand the secrets behind the numbers.  A CPA with over 30 years of experience, she finds tremendous personal satisfaction in educating people about their money and financial options. This resulted in the MoneyMarci videos, her website, and a book.

Here are some secrets of goal setting and achieving.  Subconscious primary function is to keep you safe at all times, no matter what happens.   It is afraid of punishment, retaliation, or guilt.   When such an attitude happens, it closes up to protect you.   A subconscious mind will stop supporting your goals if you use punishment against its efforts.    This case can be noticeable when plans don't work as expected.    Also, this is the primary reason individuals are in doubt about pursuing large ambitions.    Their subconscious is scared of failure, so they won't even try.   And when there is a lot of pressure and guilt from a person after some unsuccessful attempts, the subconscious mind can stop supporting and lead to the constant fear of doing something...   #goals #subconscious #success #subconsciousmind

Why do most people fail to use a subconscious mind in goal achievement and struggle? - Alex Zozovsky

Why do most people fail to use a subconscious mind in goal achievement and struggle?    Access the complete guide here: https://mindgifts.org/guide/10/how-to-use-your-subconscious-mind-to-achieve-goals-easier How to Set Goals In the right way?  Here are some secrets of goal setting and achieving not many people know about.   A metaphor: let’s say an airplane is a human mind. The engine with a plane is subconscious mind (~90% of total aircraft), and the pilot with his cabine is conscious mind (~10%).   The engine of the plane gives you a natural lift.    Unfortunately, people frequently try to reach their goals, utilizing only conscious minds - letting the pilot drag the plane.   This often happens when there is significant pressure on the subconscious mind.  For example, there are impossible deadlines or too demanding requirements or goals.   This situation can lead the pilot to get concerned, climb out of his pilot cabin, and drag the jet to the desired destination.   Such a case can cause many hardships because you don’t leverage your full possibilities.    The conscious mind, which is only 10% of your mind, is responsible for logical decisions and tries to make an additional 90% of the findings in your life.    #goals #subconscious #success #subconsciousmind
