The Socialization Question
Homeschoolers always get the question, "What about socialization?" We always try to have an answer for it, but what do the kids think? Today we. asked Ellianah to give us her answer to this age-old question. Her answer surprised me! Listen to this episode and see if she has any insight for you too!

What is it REALLY Like to be Homeschooled in High School?
I am doing a 4-part series on Homeschooling in High School over on the blog. So I thought I'd ask my older daughter, Taylor, to join us today to talk about her high school experience as a homeschooled child. She gives us a lot of insight and talks about things I never even knew. So join us as we learn more about what it's like to be homeschooled in high school!
To read the series, start here: How You Can Fearlessly Homeschool High School

Sick Goats and How We Corrected It
Ellianah and I talk about our goats and our horrible summer with them. It was our first year kidding and milking in several years and we learned a lot. Tune in to listen to our story, what Ellianah thought about it and how she helped us turn our goats around. Thanks for being here!

Homesteading with Children
In this episode, we talk about what Ellianah thinks about chores around our homestead. We mostly talk about animal chores, what she thinks about them, and how she feels they shape her character. This is a good one to listen to if you aren't sure if chores are worth the battle, whether you homestead or not. They ARE helping your children become better people. Thanks for being here!

Exploring Entrepreneurship with Your Kids
In today's episode, Ellianah talks about her business, Puppy Power Biscuits. She explains lessons she's learned, advice for kids who want to start their own business and she says some very insightful things about risk taking that we can all learn from.

Tween Girls in 2020: One girl's perspective
The movie Cuties has caused quite the outrage among my circle of friends. I dug deeper into the intent of the movie and realized there is confusion and chaos even among the creators of the film. But it got me thinking and asking the question: What IS it really like living as a tween girl in this day and age and in our hyper-sexualized American culture? So I asked Ellianah what her fears are, her dreams, the pressures that she is facing today as she learns how to figure out this world. There is a lot she said that can be applied to your parenting and it's nice to be aware of what our tween girls are struggling with. I hope you leave this episode feeling empowered to help your daughters navigate life.

We also talk about my new Homeschool Scheduling Toolkit, which is available on my blog. Go check it out!
