By Amma G.
The Inside Out podcast is all about intrapreneurship. So what is intrapreneurship? Intrapreneurship happens when someone takes the initiative to pursue innovative products, services or ideas within a company or organization.
Why intrapreneurship?
Truth is, most of us are intrapreneurs. Most of us are trying to navigate within a system, an institution, a construct and trying to figure out how to express our thoughts, ideas and personalities in that machinery. This podcast will help you to do just that by challenging you to do the hard work: #heartwerk.

2.5 Just Do It!
2.5 Just Do It!
Fear is hard. I have recently adopted a check system where I ask myself : Am I not doing something because I am hoping for something or because I am afraid of something else. If the answer is “afraid”, I have to sit with myself about what specifically I am afraid of and what are truly the consequences of both the best thing happening and the worst thing happening. I call this my “Fear v. Faith” decision tree. In this episode, our guests talk about those tough times where they pushed past their fears to execute and deliver high quality work.

2.4 Relax, Relate, Release--- Reflect!
2.4 Relax, Relate, Release--- Reflect!
Reflection, as discussed in season 1, is the glue that holds everything together. It is the silent hero of our work because it is what saves us from being stuck in the same place for years. Developing a reflection practice ensures we are making progress, checking in with ourselves, and remaining authentic and genuine in our practice. In this episode we hear from our guests who share a little bit of their experience developing a reflection practice that works.

2.3 Innovation= Change + Creativity
2.3 Innovation= Change + Creativity
There is an irony in the fact that Africa as the continent with the youngest demographic, with people bursting with talent and ideas is also the continent where young people are less likely to be given a chance to be expressive, be creative and innovate in the workplace. I asked Kwabena what one could do if they found themselves in a not so accepting space to young, creative minds? How do you deal with people who may feel your ideas are a threat to their position? In this episode we look at all of the angles related to innovating in diverse institutions

2.2 STOP! Collaborate and Listen
2.2 STOP! Collaborate and Listen
No man is an island. Thus, an integral part of intrapreneurship is developing intrapersonal skills that can be leveraged to make impact. In this episode, we looked at navigating different types of relationships in an organization. Sometimes its about working together, sometimes its about advocating together, and other times its about having an ally that will say your name in rooms where you are not present. Whatever the reason, our guests talk about how they navigate relationships in their organizations and how they bring value to those relationships consistently.

2.1 The Vision is Yet for an Appointed Time
2.1 The Vision is Yet for an Appointed Time
In Season 1, we talked about the importance of having a vision. This season, we spoke to our guests about what happens when the vision is derailed or changes. How do you cope with all life throws your way on your journey to achieving what you want most. Sometimes it can be discouraging, but mostly, those unexpected circumstances-- loss of job, lack of direction, limited access-- are pushing you in the right direction. Sometimes you just have to make room for the magic.
