Manu is passionate about helping remote based entrepreneurs, especially solopreneurs, online course creators and coaches in building sales and marketing systems that work 24x7 on auto-pilot while they are sleeping, cooking or playing...so they can claim their time focusing on their zone of genius.
Manu is a funnel strategist and sets up websites, sales & marketing funnels, email marketing automations, courses and memberships on various platforms including Kajabi, Wordpress, Clickfunnels, Convertkit. She has been a techy throughout her life from the school days itself. Technology fascinates Manu. You can feel overwhelmed or use it to increase your productivity. It is a necessary devil that can help you scale faster or distract you all the way through.
Manu started her career as a business/systems analyst helping small and medium sized businesses in transitioning from manual to computerized systems. Worked in the corporate environment for more than 15 years in different roles and countries before deciding to call it quits.
The last 10 years were spent quitting and joining several stints due to the demands of her daughter's health. This is when Manu quit 9 - 5 forever and work from home.
Manu was very clear on one aspect, that she wanted to help females as well as moms like herself balance and manage their work and personal life. On the other hand, she has knowledge and expertise with technology. Taking all of her knowledge to help female entrepreneurs in overcoming their tech overwhelm and help them with tech automation so they can claim more time and be more productive. Kerri is a certified holistic health coach, speaker and creator of The Sugar Knock Out, a series of programs that empowers women to RECLAIM control over their health WITHOUT restricting their diet, counting calories or avoiding social situations.
She decided to become a Health Coach to fulfill her passion of helping women overcome their sugar addiction after years of fighting her own. Kerri received her training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City and is certified by the AADP (American Association of Drugless Practitioners).
After years of suffering with migraines, being sick all the time and ovarian cysts I ended up needing surgery after a cyst had wrapped around my Fallopian tube. The tube had to be removed and I was left with many many questions. A friend introduced me to a book called the Body Ecology Diet and it was all about candida and the effect it has on the body. And it was exactly my problem...over eating sugar that lead to gut issues that lead to my hormonal issues. Changed my diet and have not had cysts since. I have seen first hand that the body can heal itself by itself if we give it the materials (protein, fiber, healthy fats) to do so.

E19 - Marie Ellis Cook discusses having a Narcissist Mother
I was an event planner for many years, and become a corporate event planner after graduating from university. I enjoy helping others and mentoring. When I worked at Microsoft campus in Redmond, WA in events, I felt like I was more of a therapist than an event planner. Every day I was talking to coworkers and sometimes even clients about their relationships struggles. When my husband was deployed, the military told me about how I was eligible for a scholarship. Since I already had my bachelors, I could only use the scholarship to get a certification or technical license. I looked into life coaching as that's something I've always been interested in. And I've never looked back!
The name of my business is The Cook Coterie and I am a narcissistic abuse recovery coach. A coterie an intimate group of persons with a unifying common interest or purpose. As a daughter of a narcissistic mother, I broke free from her manipulation and control and developed my own voice. I left the corporate world to help other survivors of narcissistic abuse live life on their own terms. I created The Cook Coterie as an avenue for others to learn about narcissism and break free from narcissistic abuse.

E16: LaVista Jones, Author of The Boss Shift
31 Marketplace was founded in 2014 as an agency that helps overworked female founders do what they love without sacrificing themselves and burning out to do it. The support and programming provided by 31 Marketplace shows entrepreneurs how to blend systemization and self-care to step into their full capacity of fulfilling their vision in the marketplace and taking care of their visionary selves. Their unique approach of blending strategy, implementation and holding space for moments to breathe helps each client cultivate their own culture of work-life balance through strategy, coaching, retreats and resources.
As a former corporate leader and seasoned entrepreneur, I know what it is like to blur the lines between ambition and self-endangerment in the name of achieving success by how others define it. Overwhelm used to bully me too, until I finally decided I’d had enough and I needed to shift my mindset towards building a life that nurtured me vs. one that was leading me down the path to burnout, again. As a burnout survivor, I have spent my entire entrepreneurial career helping others adopt self-care as a lifelong strategy to cultivate their own culture of work-life balance. Through coaching, intensives and retreats I love challenging women to rethink what society tells them they should be doing for self-care and inviting them to define and live out self-care and balance on their own terms.
La’Vista Jones is the founder and CEO of 31 Marketplace, an agency committed to helping women do the work they love, without sacrificing themselves to do it.
As a corporate dropout, turned entrepreneur she is on a mission to challenge women to cultivate their own definition of success and to live life on their own terms. La’Vista is a business consultant, professional speaker, host of the BOSS™ Talk podcast and published author. Her latest book, The BOSS™ Shift, is anchored in implementing her signature framework that focuses on battling overwhelm with systems and self-care.
