Let's Talk to Animals

For Episode 13 of Season 3 of Let's Talk to Animals, Shannon talks with Singapore's Ezekiel Ong, animal communications mentor. Ezekiel shares his powerful and moving personal story of discovering animal communicator while he was grieving the death of a beloved dog. His search for answers propelled him to schedule a session to reconnect with his dog. Once Ezekiel learned about the Rainbow Bridge, he felt more peace and was inspired to learn animal communication himself. Today he runs the Animal Communications & Healing Academy in Singapore.

For Episode 12 of Season 3 of Let's Talk to Animals, Shannon talks with South Africa's Diane Budd, author, animal communicator and skilled zoopharmacognosy practitioner for animals and people. Diane shares her story of early skepticism that fueled her desire to understand and experience intuition. This in turn led to animal communication and the discovery of animal self-medication, or zoopharmacognosy, as a method to solve problems her animal clients brought to her attention.

For Episode 11 of Season 3 of Let's Talk to Animals, Shannon talks with pet communications consultant, Reiki Master practitioner and pet death doula Ute Luppertz. Ute shares her uniquely moving story of how a series of losses followed by the rescue of a tiny kitten brought her to the work she does today. She offers insights into a day in the life of a pet hospice and death doula practitioner, showcasing stories from her animal and human clients to highlight the nuanced nature of her work. 

For Episode 10 of Season 3 of Let's Talk to Animals, Shannon talks with Kim Shotola and Allison Culver with The Lightfoot Way. Kim and Allison share their stories of how special animals brought them to their shared work as animal communicators and light workers across various modalities. Centering the discussion around chakra balancing, Kim and Allison explain a basic process to identify which chakras may be out of balance and further identify the best modalities to use to correct imbalances.

For Episode 9 of Season 3 of Let's Talk to Animals, Shannon talks with animal communicator and fellow medical intuitive Laura Marie Appleman. Laura Marie shares her inspiring story of growing up on a Wisconsin farm surrounded by animals. Yet it would be many years before she would realize she was communicating intuitively with animals and begin to hone her gifts in earnest. With Laura Marie's background in laboratory science and veterinary medicine, medical intuition as well as Reiki have been natural additions to her animal communication practice. 

For Episode 9 of Season 3 of Let's Talk to Animals, Shannon talks with author, veterinarian and founder of Tucker Biokinetic Technique (TBT), Renee Tucker, DVM. Dr. Tucker shares how even as a child she knew she wanted to work with horses - long before she ever actually laid eyes on a real horse! She takes us on a journey through her career as a traditional equine veterinarian, adding on first chiropractic and then acupuncture certifications and then creating TBT for horses. Dr. Tucker outlines the basics of how TBT works and talks about options to learn the technique and find a practitioner.

For Episode 8 of Season 3 of Let's Talk to Animals, Shannon talks with author and veterinarian Karlene Stange, DVM, about her wonderful and winding path through traditional veterinary medicine to natural and complementary veterinary medicine. Dr. Stange shares her story of overcoming gender bias to become a country veterinarian working with companion and farm animals. She talks about how her unique method of pulse testing was developed and how and why it works for animals and their humans. Shannon and Dr. Stange have a wonderful discussion about her book "The Spiritual Nature of Animals" and how 20 years of research led to a groundbreaking series of insights into the soul of animals. 

For Episode 7 of Season 3 of Let's Talk to Animals, Shannon talks with pet grief specialist and founder of PetCloud and Pet Memory Project Kevin Ringstaff. Kevin shares his story of growing up with animals and especially forming a deep bond with one precious cat. After his cat went missing one day, Kevin was devastated, which paved the way for his explorations into pet grief and loss. Kevin outlines how PetCloud and Pet Memory Project as well as his new project Grief at Work is helping pet parents cope with missing and lost pets, pets in transition and pet death.

For Episode 6 of Season 3 of Let's Talk to Animals, Shannon talks with intuitive Body Talk practitioner and animal communicator Guliz Unlu of Equuarius about her unique path to working with horses and animals of all species using multiple intuitive modalities. She shares about the powerful experiences she had growing up under the sign of Aquarius and working with horses across many areas of specialization. These early experiences informed both the origin of Equuarius itself and her ever-evolving methods for helping people, horses and animals of all species move through blocks towards spirit evolution.

For episode 5 of Season 3 of Let's Talk to Animals, Shannon talks with Nancy Zidonis and Amy Snow, co-founders of Tallgrass North America Animal Acupressure. Nancy and Amy share their stories of how they first learned about acupressure for people and animals - and how in each case, it was a horse who first led them to this work! Nancy and Amy also talk about the role of Traditional Chinese Medicine, or TCM, in providing acupressure and wellness services to their human and animal clients. For episode 4 of Season 3 of Let's Talk to Animals, Shannon talks with equine nutritionist Dale Logan of DL Equine New Zealand. Dale shares her story of how she got started doing this highly specialized work and how the right nutrition can transform her equine clients' lives. Dale also goes into detail about how even the subtlest details of a horse's diet can have a noticeable influence on their personality and performance. And Dale shares tips for those new to horse ownership who want to learn more about proper horse diet.

For episode 3 of Season 3 of Let's Talk to Animals, Shannon talks with positive dog trainer and animal intuitive Chrissy Messick, MS, CTC, CPDT-KA of The Nature of Animals. Chrissy shares her personal story of how she transitioned from working with human Olympians to working with canines using positive training and reinforcement methods. Chrissy also talks about four major reinforcement methods for training new dog behaviors, how each one works and which ones she uses in her practice.

Season 3 of Let's Talk to Animals continues as we dive into how Dr. Bradley Nelson's The Body Code and The Emotion Code can support improved health and wellness for our pets. Body Code and Emotion Code practitioner Kezia Lechner explains what these modalities are and what they can do and gives a demonstration of how each method works. Kezia also shares more about her personal story and her passion for using these tools to help pets heal from trauma and overcome obstacles.

In our first episode of season 3 of Let's Talk to Animals, Shannon of Animal Love Languages talks with internationally respected holistic veterinarian Dr. Judy Morgan about how to establish a baseline of good health for pets of all species. Dr. Judy shares her story of her early passion for becoming a veterinarian and how she transitioned from western to holistic and integrative veterinary medicine. Shannon and Dr. Judy also talk about the important role of applied kinesiology and animal communication in whole pet health and wellness.
