Dan sits down with Co-Owner Micah Godfrey and Head Brewer, Zak Granata of 56 Brewing in Northeast Minneapolis. We have a great conversation about how 56 Brewing is in one of the most popular areas for craft beer in Minnesota in Northeast Minneapolis. It was an absolute treat to sit down with Giesebräu Bier Co.'s Erin Hutton (Owner) and Tom Giesen (Head Brewer) to chat beer. The conversation flowed as smooth as a freshly poured Hildy's Helles. We talk about how Giesenbräu came to be, the dedication to quality, and the way they bring people into their community. In fact, their Oktoberfest celebration is coming up on Oct. 6th and 7th, so plan on visiting them for that. Dan sits down with 2 of the 3 owners (Juno Choi & Garth Blomberg) and Head Brewer (Aaron Herman) for a wonderful dive into how Arbeiter Brewing Company came to be. We chat about the journeys they each had to bring them to start Arbeiter as well as why the beers are so delicious. They are happy to be in the vibrant community of South Minneapolis and they want to make sure everybody knows that Arbteiter is a great place to enjoy beer and community.

This is the second part of my interview with Nate Schneider of Invictus Brewing Company where we were joined by Previn Solberg, the owner of Invictus Brewing. Nate tells us how Invictus Brewing came to be. We dissect the state of craft beer and chat about a recent article on Slate.com projecting a dire forecast for the future of craft beer.

I sat down with Nate Schneider, or StPaulNate, as he is known on IG to talk beer. Nate is one of the minds behind Invictus Brewing, the Communications Chair of the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild, a proud Veteran of our Armed Forces, and a wonderful spinner of craft beer yarns. This is part 1 of my interview with Nate where we talk about his journey into craft beer and his role on the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild.

Dan sits down with Josh and Ken to talk about Heavy Rotation Brewing Company in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Heavy Rotation is making some wonderful beers that are diverse in styles and high in quality. They do it all on a very small scale. The beer conversation is effortless and Dan gets the whole story on why they brew what they brew, what it meant to win 2 Minnesota Brewers Cup Awards, and what people can expect to find at this diamond in the rough.

Dan sits down with Zac Gleason (President), Jake Gleason (Vice President), and Nick Flies (Head Brewer) of Hackamore Brewing Company. They opened their doors to the public on April 28th and are definitely ready for prime time. Hackamore will have so many great amenities like a golf simulator, a wide variety of seating, and a culinary in-house residency with the Salsa Collaborative.
