Working With Energy January 2022
We’ve had a bit of a break in podcasts, due to planting and harvesting on the farm and logistics. So, this month, it will be a bit different format, just you and I, talking about the energy and doing some exercises.
Our world is made up of physical objects and energy. We tend to focus only on the physical world, but it’s also important to understand energy and how it works.
Just as there are good and bad people in our everyday lives, there are also positive and negative energies in the spiritual world. Learning how to pray and meditate is a good way to open yourself to the more positive energy.
This episode, we go through four exercises in working with energy.
Please let us know your thoughts, and what you've experienced. Be sure to put it into practice. The more you do this, the better you will get at it.

March 2021 Energy and Spiritual Awakening experiences
Hello and welcome back to Awakening Spirituality. This month we’ve got something a bit different to talk about. We’re going have a discussion with Tina Heathers about energy, what it is and how it can help us to effect positive change for anyone on the physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. We discuss how there’s more to us than just the physical, there’s a spiritual side of us, and how we use energy healing techniques to manipulate the energy that’s radiating from the body.
We also talk a bit about our own spiritual awakening experiences and what it’s like to navigate through a life as an empath. So, buckle in, we’re about to go exploring into our energy fields and see what we come up with.

January 2021 Yoga Nidra and Tai Chi
In the first half of this episode we talk with Vickie MacArthur who introduces us to Yoga Nidra.
Vickie invites our listeners to rebel against society’s mad and crazy lust for always doing “more”, and discover the power of Yoga Nidra’s deep rest for body and soul. Vickie explained how The practice of Yoga Nidra is a cumulative practice that begins to slowly change our body’s physiology, and our brain chemistry. Yoga Nidra helps activate the relaxation response and improve the functioning of your nervous system and endocrine system, which affects your hormones. Yoga Nidra helps cells regenerate and repair, and it helps to decrease anxiety and improve your mood. I would encourage you try this for yourselves and let us know what you think.
Vickie can be reached at: info@awakeningspirituality.ca or visit the website: www.awakeningspirituality.ca or join our facebook page: Awakening Spirituality.
In the second half of our episode we speak with Johan Koeslag who introduces us to Tai Chi, where he explains the physical and spiritual benefits of Tai Chi and how it is a Path to awakening to our True Self or Being. Johan also explained how Tai Chi is an alchemical or transformational process to meld body and mind and encourage higher levels of awareness in which we can function in tandem with our Creator.

December 2020 Spirit Journaling and Ho'oponopono
Join us for our third podcast of Awakening Spirituality. Awakening Spirituality is a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore your spirituality and share with other seekers. In the first half of this episode we talk with Arlene Caldwell who introduces us to Prayer and Spirit Journalling. Essentially it is a written dialogue between the writer and the Divine. It can be practiced by anyone who wishes to acknowledge personal blessings and offer gratitude. It can be practiced to release burdens and blocks in your life as well as to seek clarification on appropriate responses to stressful situations. It is a process to allow you to actively listen to your own higher wisdom and to become a better version of yourself in your daily walk here on the earth plane. Grab a book or a piece of paper, or even a computer screen, get into a place of gratitude, and start your dialogue with the divine. Arlene can be reached at: info@awakeningspirituality.ca or visit the website: www.awakeningspirituality.ca or join our facebook page: Awakening Spirituality.
In the second half of our episode we speak with Carol Marie Groen who introduces us to Ho'oponopono, which uses a 4-phrase prayer like mantra, combined to clean the data of our memories and help us retake 100% responsibility for everything in life, good, bad, and indifferent. When you use the prayer or mantras, you're cleaning within yourself to heal your inner child, your memories, and your ancestral memories, to make room for Inspiration from the Divine. The mantras, that go like this: I'm sorry - repentance, Please forgive me - forgiveness, Thank you - gratitude, I love you - love. The absolute miracle of practicing Ho’oponopono is that you get to experience the renewing miracle of Love – within yourself, and then with and for others. And you can begin right now. Right where you are. For the month of December I challenge you (and myself) to up our spiritual practices to include spirit journaling and to repeat the Ho’oponopono mantras every day until the new year. I’m kind of excited to see what happens. You can message Carol Marie at CarolMarie@awakeningspirituality.ca or visit her website at: HowSweetItIs.ca (very soon).

Join us for our second podcast of Awakening Spirituality. Awakening Spirituality is a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore your spirituality and share with other seekers. In the first half of this episode we talk with Mary Jean Belrose who introduces us to community circle drumming. She explains that a drum circle may be a diverse group of people from many different backgrounds, gathering in a circle to play hand drums and percussion. It's a safe space where everyone has a part to play no matter what skill level they have. Community Drum Circles are where spirits are lifted, people learn about themselves and the opportunity for transformation and spiritual connection is opened. In the second half of our episode we speak with Heather Oliver who shares to to connect to spirit through an intuitive nature walk. There are many ways in that we may deepen our Spiritual connection. Going on a nature walk is one way. What each person receives or perceives is what matters the most. It invites us to listen and observe. Prior to going on your walk, you may choose to quieten yourself, calming your mind. Do some slow breaths, to feel and listen to the air you breath passing through your nose and into your lungs and out again. This may take a few minutes or a little longer. Take that first step, Go for a walk, wherever you may be, notice your surroundings, write down your experiences. And remember that sometimes the walk is simply to be more connected and grounded with the earth. You can contact Heather Oliver through her website healingwithnaturestouch.com or by visiting our website www.awakeningspirituality.ca.
