Interview with Nick Amador, Head of Growth of Kegshoe Inc. at the Ontario Craft Brewers Conference & Suppliers Marketplace 2019.
Kegshoe is a startup focusing on building software for breweries, cideries, and more. Our flagship product, Kegshoe Keg Tracking, helps companies around the world track their kegs. Keg tracking has been a longstanding issue in the beer and beverage industry, and breweries have typically relied on outdated solutions such as spreadsheets and whiteboards to keep track of where they’re sending their kegs. The result is that they frequently lose kegs and struggle to manage their keg fleets. Even for small breweries, this can end up costing thousands of dollars every year in lost inventory and efficiency.
At Kegshoe, we solve this problem by providing breweries with an intuitive, mobile solution that lets them easily manage their entire keg fleet. We love working in the craft beer industry and helping local businesses succeed all over the world is our jam.

Dannah Davies owner of Sweetsmith Candy Co.
Interview with Dannah Davies owner of Sweetsmith Candy Co. at SIAL CANADA 2019 in Toronto.
Sweetsmith Candy Co. was founded by Dannah Davies in the summer of 2012. With money saved for school that she earned from paper routes, and jobs growing up, she began cooking her candy at home and selling at a local farmer's market once a week. Her handcrafted candy (all of which is based on a family recipe which she committed to memory as a teen) caught on fast. Soon enough she had to quit her day job, rented a commercial kitchen, and hired help to keep up with the demand.
In the time that Sweetsmith has been in operation, Dannah's candy has made its way into every market from Cochrane to Okotoks. Her sweets can be found at the Spruce Meadows International Christmas market, and various summer markets.
