He is experienced with people & culture, leadership, business strategy, and operations with a focus on building great teams who are excited about their craft and their organization. In this episode we go over the importance of knowing your values when finding a job, setting yourself up for success and the value of learning.

In episode 26 of Beneath Vancouver Radio, I had the opportunity to chat with a close friend and fellow creative, Jensen Tung.

Jensen has been creating Youtube videos for over five years, starting with short films and now transitioning to lifestyle content. With a business background, Jensen did not let that stop him from pursuing his passion for filmmaking and storytelling. We chatted about his early Youtube days and the myth of viral videos.

In the first episode of 2020 and Season 2, I sat down and chatted with Jordan Ting who is the co-founder of SAFEH8VEN and wears many more hats. I've actually known Jordan for over seven years and have seen his transition to where he is today. We chatted about his humble beginnings as a hobbyist and learned about the risks that he had to take to get where he is today.

Jordan's journey is not too different from others and he hopes that this episode helps show some insight on how you TOO can start pursuing your passions. We have achieved the 20 episode mark!! Thinking back to where this all started, it is crazy to think that we have surpassed this milestone. I just wanted to say thank you again for all our supporters and listeners. In the 20th episode, we have special guest Brian O'Keefe who is a local videographer within the community.

Brian shared his story on how he got involved in the creative arts and explains the obstacles he has to overcome upon moving to Vancouver. Brian also swaps the roles a bit and asked me how I started podcasting and the recommendations I have for all those who want to start.

Welcome to another episode of Beneath Vancouver Radio! In today's episode, I had the opportunity to chat with Catalina, co-founder of Uncover Your Brand.

Catalina and I share a very similar story in the sense that we both were struggling to find our passion while going to school. Catalina shares her inspiring journey of how at a young age, she started trying new industries in hopes of the discomfort sparking change. She has tried various endeavors and although not all have come to fruition she has learned a lot from each experience. 

Fast forward to 2019 and through the power of networking and community building she met her co-founder Yzobel and they both started an amazing brand that focuses on community growth and education. It is amazing to hear all that Cat has accomplished at such a young age and I definitely felt inspired after our conversation.
