Against all odds, as a Black American Man faced with many challenges growing up in Atlantic City- Livio's persistence and refusal to become a statistic helped him to climb up the industry ranks as an executive who has amassed over 30 years of industry experience and advancing from being a former Recording Artist, to Entertainment Manager, an Artist Development Executive, V.P. of Tier2 Films, and Executive V.P. of NottingHill Music Publishing.

Anthony Ray joins the UNNI Podcast, and shares his survivor story; losing his father to incarceration and his mother to an overdose, all before the age of 10. Growing up in below poverty, and in the kinship care of his older sister; identifying as a Latino gay male, and surviving a mugging and hate crime attack- Anthony had all of the odds stacked against him.

Instead of adopting the mindset of defeat, hopelessness; and continuing the generational cycles of addiction, incarceration, and poverty- Anthony became a celebrity stylist, and social advocate, who works to help others realize their beauty, strength, and boundaries!

Taryn Hiatt who is the Utah Chapter, Area Director; for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), joins The UNNI Podcast Guestlist on June 3, 2020. Taryn shares her lived experiences as both a suicide attempt survivor, and loss survivor following the death of her father. With a desire to prevent further grief and loss in her own family, and the tragedy of death by suicide in any other family; Taryn sought out the AFSP, and not only received a wealth of knowledge and resources, but realized her purpose to become a part of a national project to reduce suicides and empower diverse communities.
