Its another to "show" people and I can do just that by reading from the books themselves. The author and title of the books read will be kept a mystery until after the reading as a blind test. Glen Cook I consider to be the Grandfather of the modern Grimdark fantasy subgenre. The Black Company is considered a classic and inspired many authors today including Steven Erikson's Malazan series. I hope you all enjoy this overview and pick up the first book someday.
