This week we dive into the many ways volunteers like Rick Hammerle make a difference in the Boone County community! Rick is the volunteer coordinator for the VITA and TCE programs that provide income tax assistance at the Lebanon and Thorntown Public Libraries. He also volunteers with the Shalom House, a Boone County nonprofit providing meals and sack lunches to adults and children who are food insecure.
