RULE #6: ENGAGE
Good morning everybody! Here is step number six for creating a powerful R. O. I. focused social media plan.
Step 6 is ENGAGE. It's something that I think a lot of people forget, including myself, I forgot about this or didn't really understand it for a long time. It's really important that you're not just creating content but that you are engaging with other people -- both people who comment on your content, but also engaging on other people's content. That's really what makes social media social, right? Before, I just didn't really understand that. I spent a lot of time just creating content, content, content and didn't really have a lot of growth.
But once I started engaging -- Number 1: it started increasing my own engagement. But it also helped me to enjoy using social media more because I started using it for what it was for, which was to create a network. And if you haven't heard the term before or this quote before -- "your network is your net worth. "
And so creating a network is really important. And enjoying the process is even more important. So make sure that you are engaging everyday, not just on comments people leave for you, but also on other people's content that fit your niche.

Rule #5: Create
Hey everybody, Brandon Hensinger with Cima Growth Solutions.
I wanted to continue this series on the seven steps to social media profit and specifically, r. O. I on social media. Step #5 is simple, it's create -- make sure you're creating content. It might seem really overwhelming to think about how many different things you have to create, whether it's text posts, blogs, videos, images, ads, you name it - there are so many different types of content that you need to create in order to hit your entire potential market, but there's a way to do it that would be a whole lot easier than just creating every single piece of content yourself.
So when I first started getting involved in social media, uh my first company that I promoted with social media was ascent adventure consultants, which is a rock climbing business. I started back in 2008 actually right when facebook started becoming popular, I used social media and really grew my business through it and as time went on, I used social media to grow all of the businesses that I've launched including Avrio Genetics, and at first it was extremely overwhelming. I would spend hours trying to create content and felt like, you know, I spent all day creating content and how was I going to actually go out and grow my business? The key strategy to use is an omnipresence strategy. That's what I learned, I was introduced to that by a few different people specifically Grant Cardone and learned how with one video, I could create images, I could create a blog post by transcribing the text. I could create a podcast, I could create quote cards, I could create text posts, you name it and by understanding how the omnipresent strategy works. I could take one video and make 60 plus pieces of content out of it.
Once I realized that that allowed my presence on social media to explode and most importantly, not just number of followers, but it helped me actually boost the engagement I was getting and reach the right type of customers. So actually if you're listening to this, you're probably either the owner or you work with a small business or maybe you're just trying to get your own personal brand up and running because you have a vision of monetizing that. Well, what i, what I think is the key strategy to follow is putting together your omnipresence strategy and do exactly what I said by starting out by filming a video and creating multiple pieces of content from it. So that's something we actually can help you with is to create this for you, you provide the initial video, we can do the rest and make you omnipresent. So if you haven't already check out cimagrowth.com/social and we can help you along your way. Have an awesome day!

Rule #4: Game Plan
Hey everybody, Brandon Hensinger, founder of Cima Growth Solutions.
Today, I want to talk about the fourth step to maximizing profit with social media and that is to game plan based upon metrics and tracking. A lot of people who fail with social media, fail because they don't know what to track or they're not tracking anything. And honestly, if you don't know where you're going, you'll never get there. So it's really important to make sure you know what to track with social media-based upon what your goals are. So for example, if you're trying to get more sales with social media, then you need to track those conversions.
Look at, out of everything I post, how many of those posts are getting people to my website, how many people are converting based upon those posts? What post did they like the most? What post do they like the least? Those things really matter, and that bleeds over into a lot of other areas of strategies such as general internet marketing, ads, and social media. You want to make sure that you're tracking what's most important. For me, I remember years ago I was just posting whatever I could and saw what stuck.
But now I actually pay attention to what has the highest impact. What do people like the most? And honestly, most of the time, it's not what I think is going to be the best post. It's what people want that I base all the posts and content off of. So make sure that if you're trying to grow a new business, whether it's a small business or even a large business, and you're trying to employ social media into your strategy, that you have a game plan and that you are tracking the right metrics, and that you know what your goals are.

1QMS: Why You Should Do Research Before Launching a Product
Hey everybody. Good morning! Here is today's one question morning show. The question that I have been seeing a lot of is why is it important to do market research before launching a product? There are a lot of reasons to do market research. But the number one reason is if you are only creating a new product because you think it's a good idea, that doesn't mean that it's going to be successful, you have to make sure that there is an interest and a demand for the product in your market. Now. They're thinking of the case of apple for example, crazy, crazy example with the iphone right? There wasn't a demand for an iphone but apple did their market research and understood that there was a demand for the types of services and change that the iphone could bring about. So no matter what it is, whether it's large or small, make sure that you're researching your market and you understand exactly how to launch the product and why you should launch the product. So that's it. Today's one question morning show, do market research because it's not just about what you want, it's about what everybody wants.

One Question Morning Show: How to Prioritize Your Daily Task List
Hey, everybody! Welcome to the one-question morning show!
I wanted to answer a question today, that probably applies to everybody, and that is how do I know which of the things on my to-do list are wasting time versus actually important, and I think that probably sounds like common sense, of course everything on my to-do list is important, or of course I know what's important and what isn't, but it often gets lost in our minds when we're in the midst of work, when we're in the midst of doing things and pushing through a day, getting things done working on projects.
It's really important to realize that not every task on your list has as much importance as the others. That's why it's so important to know exactly what your goals are, that's why you should start every day writing down your goals knowing what your goals are, your overall goals, but then also knowing what your goals or targets are for each and every day, because if you can define what your targets are for everyday, maybe, you know, three or four things, then you'll be able to look at your task list and say is the thing that I'm about to work on helping me get to my target for that day.
If not, don't do that thing, focus on doing the things that will get you to hit your targets for that day, which are ultimately getting you closer and closer to accomplishing your overall goals. So don't focus on the things that aren't getting you to where you want to be. Check out Cima growth, cimagrowth.com and get my free guide on how you can focus on the right things and grow your business. Have an awesome day.

1 Question Morning Show: How to Simplify Without Losing Productivity
Hey everybody, Brandon Hensinger here.
For today's one question morning show I wanted to talk about a question I get asked a lot, which is if I'm trying to simplify the amount of things I do on a given day, how do I do that without sacrificing my productivity? That's a really good question because people who are successful, people who are strong leaders of a company, their families in any area know exactly what needs to be done in order to continue that forward motion of success without wasting time on things that don't matter.
So a common task or common thing a lot of people do is try to eliminate unnecessary things from their life, but often people make a mistake of eliminating everything they think, you know what, I'm not going to work as hard, but I'm still going to try to accomplish a lot, so I'm going to sleep in or you know, I'm not going to want to do things I enjoy, maybe do a little bit of work here, a little bit of work there, but that's actually not maximizing productivity.
That's not following the 80/20 rule, the 80/20 rule of 80% of your success comes from 20% of your activity. It's actually a common misconception that if you're going to follow that 80/20 rule that you just need to stop doing a lot of work and only work a little bit. It's actually not true. What it means is you work really, really, really hard on the 20% of things that are going to make the biggest difference. So I know there's a lot of things that I just said but what I'm trying to get across is that if you want to maximize your productivity and make sure that you're successful. Yeah. Don't waste your time doing things that don't matter.
But you have to make sure that the things you are doing, you're spending just as much time working on as you were spending on all of the other things that don't matter. That's how you're going to make sure that you continue forward motion and find success. So for example, if you spend 50% of your day working on sales calls and 50% of your day working on emails and you decide that actually what is going to keep you moving forward is making sales calls -- well and then you say huh? I don't have to focus on emails as much. So you only spend half the time on email, it doesn't mean that you spend 50% on sales calls and 25% of your time on emails and then you just do whatever you want the other 25% of the time.
No, it means you spend 75% of your time on sales calls and 25% on email. So you have to make sure you're still working the same. But you focus on the things that matter. Hope that was helpful. Check out cimagrowth.com, which is c i m a growth dot com because we actually have put together a lot of programs that will allow you to offload a lot of the things that may not be what you should be focusing on and allow us to focus on it instead, have an awesome day.

Rule #3: Strategize
Hey everybody, welcome back to part three of our series on 7 steps to maximize social media R. O. I.
Last time we talked about the importance of research. Today, I want to talk about the importance of strategizing. The key thing that you need to be doing with really any type of marketing - but social media marketing specifically is to strategize.
Number one, you need to figure out who you are as a business. What does your brand represent? What's your story? What's your feel? What message are you trying to communicate? And that is really important. It's what message are you trying to communicate. What is your company's message that you're trying to get out to the world? You have to remember that your company can't just say we have a product. You have to have a message behind a product, whether it's a service or a physical good. So think about that. Who is your company? What is, what is the feel of your company? What is your brand? What message are you trying to communicate? What is your unique selling proposition? Meaning - what do you have that nobody else could have or nobody else would have?
And one of the really interesting concepts that we could spend a lot of time talking about is blue ocean strategy. That's much more on the product development and service development side than it is on social media. But it still applies. If you don't know about blue ocean strategy - think about it - if there were a bunch of sharks swimming in an ocean, it would be red right, from the devouring, and everything. But if you were the only shark and jumped into a new ocean with no other sharks it would be a blue ocean because there's nobody else fighting for it. And you have to take that approach when it comes to business, don't just do what everybody else is doing.
Do something different, figure out what your message is so that it sets you apart from the rest. You can do that with the service, you can do that with a product and you can do it with social media. So after you've completed the research phase, look at your competition, looking at what's out there.
Start really thinking about what sets your brand apart, your story, your mission, your message and what your unique selling proposition is. That's key to success. So, if you are on Facebook or Instagram, dm us "social", or dm me "social", and I'll send you this entire seven-step guide all printed out. It's about a 20-page book that we're giving away for free.
And also we can do a free strategy call with you as well to answer any of your questions. So dm us "social". If you're on another platform like Twitter or LinkedIn, feel free to still send us a message that says "social", and we'll personally respond and we'll get you what you need.

Don't Wait for Motivation -- Make it!
Hey everybody Brandon Hensinger with Cima Growth Solutions!
I woke up this morning and I was feeling super tired. I just wanted to hang out and read, it's a beautiful day outside. I thought I could just read, relax, drink my coffee and even though in the back of my mind I knew I was trying to follow this training plan for climbing one of the harder routes at one of the world's best climbing spots, the dunks or the Shawangunk mountains just like 2. 5 hours north of me. So I have this climbing gym in my basement or this climbing cave in my basement where I can train but I didn't feel super motivated this morning. So what I decided to do is just say, well I don't feel motivated but I'm gonna get my climbing shoes on and I'm just gonna climb and so I started climbing and start feeling, I started feeling super pumped just to get at it and train hard and stay true to my plan and so this week, you know, hopefully you have some time to be refreshed, this Saturday work on some personal things you want to get done and as you prepped to go into next week, remember that if you don't feel motivated to do something that you know you're supposed to be doing do it anyways because taking action will actually produce that motivation, so go take over the world, kick butt and have an awesome week.

The One Question Morning Show: Should You Start a Business in 2021

7 Key Areas to a Successful Social Media Strategy. Rule #2: Research
Hey everybody, this is Brandon Hensinger, founder of Cima Growth Solutions. Last week we started a series about the seven ways to maximize your R.O.I. With social media as a small business owner or as a small business marketing department. We talked last week about the importance of reviewing what you're doing.
Today, I want to talk about the importance of research both researching your competitors and your audience. It's important to take time to look at all of your competitors, look at what they're doing on social media, on all of the different platforms. Most likely you're going to find a lot more companies doing things wrong than doing things right.
However, it's important to write down what you see that they are doing, who they're interacting with, what their customer base is like -- really understand what seems to be working. Next, you want to make sure that you research your audience. You have to know who your audience is. No business has an audience of everyone.
Even the biggest businesses in the world are not for everyone. You have to be crystal clear on who your audience is, what your audience size is, and what your audience's buying patterns are and what their online activity patterns are. Getting crystal clear in those things is really important because then it will allow you to target what your marketing efforts should be, not just what you think they should be.
So make sure you're crystal clear on your competitors and on your audience, and make sure that you visit cimagrowth.com/social because we can give you this entire guide for free and give you a free strategy call to get you started. I look forward to talking with you. Have an awesome day and stay tuned for part three.

3 Ways to Make Sure You Accomplish Your Goals in 2021
One of the most challenging things people go through is getting to the end of the year and saying, "I'm going to set New Year's resolutions for myself," listing those resolutions and then never doing them. The reason that most resolutions don't ever happen is because there’s no plan. You write down these goals (AKA resolutions), but you don't actually have a plan for how you're going to get there.

3 Ways to Focus on Your Strengths & Not Your Weaknesses
You should always be focused on your strengths and getting better at what you're strong at, rather than spending all your time identifying and improving weaknesses.

Visualize it and You Can Achieve it
If you take the time to visualize your goals, you will see amazing results.
