Michael Anthony Giudicissi has spent the last 35 years studying Billy the Kid, and he has even created a series of fiction books surrounding the character that was Billy The Kid. On Aug 23 2023 the world lost one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time. But Terry Funk was so much more than just a wrestler, he was a showman, an actor, a legend, but more importantly, he was a father to two wonderful daughter and a dear friend.
Terrence "Terry" Funk had a wrestling career that lasted more than 50 years. He was one of the most respected men in the business, a headliner in every territory of the United States, and in Japan he was a superstar, an icon, and one of the most beloved pop culture icons.
He was even a movie star, appearing in films such as Paradise Alley, Over The Top, The Ringer and most notably the cult classic Road House.
But more than anything he was a proud father, many times he me would tell how proud he was of his daughters, and how much family meant to him.
The friendship I developed with Terry of the last several years of his life mean more to me than a few words here could ever express,
Please welcome Rodney West and Terry Sullivan to the show, two men who have been around the world of wrestling their whole lives. The three of us talk about Terry, his work, his status in the business, what he meant to the world of wrestling, and what he meant to us on a more personal level. Rest in peace my friend, and you have no idea how honored I was to call you friend!!

On October 24th 1901 schoolteacher Annie Edson Taylor celebrated her 63rd birthday by becoming the first person to survive going over Niagara Falls in a barrel, yes, OVER NIAGARA FALLS IN A BARREL! Why? Was she bored? Was she a natural born daredevil? Was she insane? I don't know, but I know someone who will know!!
Patrick Sirianni is a native of Niagara Falls Ontario and has become quite the historian of this amazing region, as well as being the official Town Crier of Niagara Falls. He also runs the amazing Facebook group Niagara History and Trivia (all lovers of history need to join this group!!)
Patrick joins us for the first, but defiantly not the last time to discuss this amazing woman, why she did what she did, and how her stunt led to so many copycats, not always as successful.

In the 1980's a pop culture explosion occurred in Professional Wrestling, it was everywhere, on TV's, in arenas, on toy shelves, on movie screens you name it...but where did this mass popularity come from, why did it explode? Because blueprints were put in place for just such a boom, and soon the wrestling business would change forever (for the better?) In the 1970's territories across the United States were developing wrestling into something more than a minor attraction, with a niche following, they made it personal, local shows made local heroes, and made the viewers believe. Each place was different, from presentation to actual wrestling styles, but soon, regional wrestling would go nation wide.
We are thrilled to be joined by the great Terry Sullivan, who was the ring announcer and broadcaster for Big Time Wrestling in Detroit, Nikita Breznikov, a life long fan and historian of the classic WWWF (today's WWE) who eventually made his way into the busniess as manager of the legendary Nikoli Volkov, and rounding out this panel is a Rodney West, a second generation wrestling figure, son of the late great referee/booker/promoter/wrestling guru Ron West, Rodney along with his brother Brent grew up in and around the Georgia Wrestling scene and were drawn to the business likes moths to a flame.

In 1897 Bram Stoker unleashed the stuff of nightmares to generations, and the world of film forever put his creation in our collective conscious. From the earliest days of film the Vampire appeared, but it wasn't until 1922 with the release of Nosferatu (and its's subsequent legal battles) that Stokers character graced the screen. Then 1931 and a relatively unknown Bela Lugosi portrayed what has become the pop culture image of Stokers count. Over the years there have been countless versions of the Vampire, most notably by the likes of Christopher Lee, Frank Langela and Gary Oldman, but what do the film historians and Stoker scholars think about the various versions.... let's find out
