Can a blind person be a plane spotter and if so, what technology needs to be used in order to make that happen?

in today’s episode of the brother Timothy Clark podcast, we discuss how a blind person can be a plane spotter along with the technology that is needed in order to make that a reality. How it is done may very well surprise you. And my reasons behind why I personally believe that we need more spotters may very well surprise you as well. When I talk about spotters, I am not talking about your run-of-the-mill hobbyist spotters, who spot simply for the thrill of it. Rather, I am talking about a safety application that I personally believe needs to be in place. I believe that this conversation has been a long time coming.

We must do the work of our Father in heaven instead of focusing on the things of this earth.

It is so very easy to lose our focus on what is truly important. God should always come first in our lives and when he isn't then we have a problem. The fact of the matter is that we have so much that the devil can use against us that he knows we enjoy. But, are those things healthy for us in our walk with the Lord? We must always keep that question in prospective as we imbark on this new idea or what have you. Losing focus on God leads to losing your love for him. This is never a good thing and is always a bad thing and you become what the book of revelation calls a luke warm Christian or cold Christian and either way, we should be hot. Not cold or luke warm. Christ would rather us be cold or hot, not warm. So ask yourself, would you rather be a hot Christian who wants only to serve and love him or would you rather be a cold Christian or a Luke warm Christian who compromises a little here and a little there? I don't know about you but, I would rather be the kind of Christian who lives exclusively for God. One who would leave it all behind should he ask it of me. One who would give my life if that to would be required of me. How about you dear listening friend? . . . How does the compressor do on the Bass Fly Rig 5 V2 on guitar?

I was talking to folks about the RK 5 v2 and how it has an on board compressor and the closest thing I had to that was my brothers Bass Fly Rig. So we hooked up and checked it out with guitar and it is ok. Very quiet in it's defence which is pretty amazing. Tech21 did a great job with that little unit that's for sure. Brad Paisley will run at the edge of break up where Richie Kotzen runs a good bit of dirt on his amp even before he get's to the drive from the Fly Rigs he runs. Can my tone stay in tact no matter what device I run my Fly Rig 5 version 1 into? Let's find out.

I was interested in the following, could my tone remain relatively the same if I ran into a PA system verses my amp? Or how about if I ran direct into an interface? Or, how about if I ran my amp direct into the IPad? There are just so many variable's here that I just had to find out and along the way, I figured I would record it and turn it into a Podcast episode where it can be archived somewhere on the internet for me to look back on long after this IPhone and IPad are gone. Hopefully. Nothing but God lasts forever and that's a fact.

September 30th Planespotting in New Florence, Pennsylvania.

many topics are covered this time around and this may be our longest episode at 2 hours long on the nose.
We're out plane spotting and or planespotting. I'm never sure if that should be a single word or broken up into two words. Somebody can let me know if they wish.

Anyway, in this episode, we talk about the Lord, my thoughts on what I think about when I hear Spirit Wings, my thoughts on some of the things happening today and more.

We hear a bunch of radio communications which is always nice if you ask me, and we also get two aircraft clearly on file which is always great when that can happen.

I need to learn how the ducker works in my Digital Audio Work Station a bit better. Sorry for how jurky that music sounds when it's ducking and unducking.

The music was made by me in the event somebody is wondering.

Talking about the death of Aaron Hogue, an insodent at LAX, and getting an aircraft recorded

Aaron Hogue sadly lost his life yesterday when racing at Reno Stted airport live in front of all of the world to see. He had some kind of a medical emergency which caused him to lose his life as well as the airplane. Also, a guy got stuck in a gas tank at Los Angeles International Airport and had to be rescued last week. I really wish I was making these stories up but sadly enough, their both true. You have heard me spot aircraft of all kinds before but, how about on a dynamic microphone? This is actually pretty cool. Because of that, there's only about 5 minutes with the IPad condenser mic. Let me know which mic you like better. I'm saving my thoughts until I actually hear both on a good set of speakers such of that of my Google home Hub or Amazon Echo Show. I will say that I'm leaning towards the condenser. Bob Heil is of the opinion that dynamic mic's are the name of the game. So I thought we would test his thinking out on plane spotting. September eleventh tribute and warning to the Church

This isn't the tribute you expected I know. It's not what I would have wanted to have said but, it was needed and vitally necessary and this was the correct place and time. If we let sin run free in this country and if we continue to encourage it then we have nobody to blame but ourselves when it leads to this countries downfall. Look, as the Church we must actively stand against it and yet we aren't. That's not the job of the world folks but, it's the job of the Church and we're failing. 21 years ago I was a child. 21 years ago I didn't have much of a voice if any knowing what was correct and what was wrong. 21 years ago I didn't know what sin was. 21 years ago I didn't know of the moral decline in this country. 21 years ago I was just a child with a child like innocents. Today 9 year olds walk around calling one anothers gay and I even heard one asking the other if he would play with his privates. That kind of stuff didn't even begin to happen while I was growing up. We've have come so far so fast. September eleventh was really a turning point in 2001 and where are we today? What did we learn? I'm deeply concerned for the state of this country but, more then that, I'm deeply concerned for the affairs of the Church. We must stand up and speak out now against the indoctrination of children, radicle homosexual identity and sexual affirmation. We must boldly take back the wright for children to have a normal childhood. This sexual junk they learn from the public school system is an abomination on to the Lord God and it's just getting worse. I've got this media outlet the Lord provided, I hope it makes a difference. Let it be known that I did not idly sit by while the Church and this country fail deeper and deeper into sin. I hope you all will take this to heart and join me in proclaiming the Gospel message and the proclaiming of liberty and freedom in Christ. Reviewing the Roland XLR to USB cable via an IPad and checking out the Sweetwater candy

In today's episode of the Brother Timothy Clark Podcast, we're checking out the Roland USB to XLR cable via my IPad. We're running it into the Lightning to USB camera connection kit directly into the lightning port of the pad. The recording took place in voice memos and I did have to turn up in post in my DAW the audio from the cable. So if you do purchase and find it to be quiet, just turn it up and you should be just fine. I will be doing more tests with it very soon. That all being said, I am very pleased with it especially for 20 dollars. Before Covid you could purchase an XLR cable for 5 dollars but thanks to inflation here we are at 20 dollars. That being said though, Sweetwater offers a 2 year warranty whereas Roland offers a limited lifetime warranty so after the warranty from Sweetwater runs out, I will still be covered under Roland's which is great news. We also took a lookat the candy from Sweetwater. Quite tasty. That will do it for this review and if you would like to contact me, send me an email. September 6th plane spotting in New Florence, Pennsylvania.

It was a very plane evening. Umm... Without a single plane. Yeah, that joke was just plane bad but uh, who reads these descriptions anyway? Lol therefor I can put all of my plane jokes here without judgment. Lol. Ok, well... I mean I read descriptions of podcasts so perhaps others do as well. Anyway, let me get serious for a moment. We discussed all kinds of topics. Everything from planes to radios to God to music gear to what makes a woman to lawnmowers to paramotors to editing and more. This episode was edited in 3 places. 1. The beginning of the episode where I started the recording to remove the gap from when I started the recording to when I began speaking. 2. Where I paused the recording. and 3. At the end of the episode where VoiceOver would have been heard. That's it. So very little editing on my part. Very easy to put this one up. That's such a blessing and may become the norm that is in less I feel like editing an episode or two. Talking about the Fly-pod Electric Paramotor Bike, my thoughts on electric, gas, and flying blind.

I am ultra impressed with the Fly-pod electric bike. While I have not actually tryed this product, this particular thing does sound very promising and so I felt that it diserved a slot on the podcast hence an entire episode just because I had a lot to say when talking electric, batteries, gas and more such as flying while blind. spinning the tunes I made in Garageband on my ipad within the last week

Hello all.

Timothy here and today's episode is being uploaded via my ipad. However, notice that while the format looks better with the discription, the episode itself doesn't have any music in it's background. That's the only drawback with the web interface. That's ok though because this episode has music in it as it's core so it really doesn't matter.

Anyhow, I hope you will all enjoy this fun episode. We may have more of these in the future. It helps me to break up the monotony of the same old thing. Or to me in any case what feels like the same old thing.

Anyhow, we'll be working on a solution to get music back in the background on episodes where it's needed.

We'll take one step at a time with that one though.
