How to be Flexible When our Plans Get Interrupted
We have been working on so many things to bring to our audience over the last few months. Wouldn't you know that right before a launch of our CEU episodes life sort of threw me a curve ball that pushed my personal and professional goals out of the way. It is really easy to pack it in and give up when the road we are walking becomes tough. How do we break the pattern of running when the road gets tough on that journey for us? What can we do to stay flexible when the course we set for ourselves gets hard? This episode is for you. I hope this blesses you the way it blessed me to record it! Until next time, Eat Pizza, Take Data.

Sleep is the Magic Supplement- Dr. Greg Wells talks Sleep, Stress and Precision Nutrition's New Course!
Can I ask you a question? Has that magic supplement done what it promised?
Most likely, no.
The real magic supplement doesn't come in a bottle. It can be taken literally any where and the best part is it is free to use.
Sleep is that magic supplement. Sleep is so undervalued in the grand scheme of our wellness routine. We have a routine for the morning, the commute to work, work itself and an at home routine...Why not a sleep routine?
Maybe if I put it this way... "This new supplement will change your life. It will give you sharper mental focus, a better pump in the gym, easier weight control and is a natural appetite suppressant. This game changer also can boost mood and cognitive function."
Today, We talk with Dr Wells about sleep, stress and Precision Nutrition and their fantastic new course on Sleep and Stress Management. Check it out here.

Don't Diet During the Holidays
A majority of people that attempt to diet fail at long term success. This is backed by study after study. There is also a reported increase in psychological issues and mental health decline around the holiday season. Many people that are dieting will attempt to continue through the holiday season only to fail and see themselves as some sort of failure. The thing is, it isn't your fault. You are not the failure. It is the system in which you are attempting to work, it simply does not work for you. This is where the idea of not dieting during the holidays comes from.
During this episode I give you several nutritional, psychological and behavioral tips to navigate the holidays, enjoy your time with friends and family and still work on your goals. I really hope that this is helpful to you. Remember, you deserve your health.

Five Behavior Techniques to Help You Navigate a Night Out
Listen, life is about enjoying the little things right? Well appetizers are little things. We must enjoy them.
All joking aside, in this episode we give you five behavioral strategies that you can use RIGHT NOW to help change your relationship with diets, with eating out and the whole concept of flexibility. We want you to be able to have your cake and eat it to, while reaching your goals. I know, that sounds impossible, but it isn't. It is more about your overall relationship with nutrition, how you approach stress and food related binges (or restrictions) and the make-up of what you eat day-to-day. There is no "hack" that will lead to sustainability. There is however the ability to learn to be psychologically flexible and focus on consistency through continued practice. In this episode we deliver 5 sure-fire things you can begin to use that will help you change that relationship with food.
You deserve your health. Sometimes that means eating the pizza and taking the data.

Diets, Goals, and Behavior Traps
Heard that before? Have you said it before? Are you saying it now?
If you have answered yes to any of those questions, this short episode is for you. In episode 31 I talk about how sometimes the things we think are goals are really nothing more than a previous failed attempt that we clung to with some minimal success. These are also known as behavior traps. We get trapped in a cycle of behavior that is centered around a goal that may not even be our idea in the first place.
I also share more on the 3 C's of goal creation so that you can ensure success instead of falling into the behavior trap.
I hope this has been helpful to you!
