Bring on Tomorrow is our current series and we are discovering how God has created us to live a life loaded with blessings! That is exciting but it is also very important that we make sure we understand the responsibility of how to best live with those blessings. In some ways the answer is hidden in plain sight, but we do need to pay attention. If you are ready to be blessed, then this is what you have to know.

We all know what an elephant in the room is…it is a truth, that everyone notices, but no one wants to talk about! This series has taken us on a tour of some pachyderms and allowed us to talk about them and deal with them using Biblical truth. The series comes to an end today with one more elephant – you know it, you have seen it, it is the irresistible impossible elephant. It is that elephant that is so enormous that you know whatever you are trying to do is going to be …. Impossible. Yet, just like every other elephant we have looked at, we can discover that God has a way and a plan for us to tackle the impossible things in our lives.

The Extra Elephants (Session Three)

The image of God is who we are as human beings – it is our most basic, original calling… sadly, we live in a culture that seems intent on destroying and undercutting this basic foundational truth about life itself. As a result, followers of Jesus and the church sometimes get caught not knowing what to say, how to respond, and how to share love in a world where creation seems up for grabs. It does not have to be that way.

The CORE study is entitled – Extra Elephants – Who knew there were this many elephants in one room?

This series is designed to get you thinking about stuff that we need to talk about that on one wants to talk about it.

We often ignore them, sometimes we decorate them, but they are tough to miss – they are elephants in the room.

There is a Celebration Worship series that looks at a number of elephants, this CORE study will take you deeper into the herd.

In this episode, we look at how our Judeo-Christian principles are integral to freedom and the foundation we are built on.

We are traveling through the herd of elephants talking about the elephants in the room that sometimes people are afraid to really talk about. Today we talk about the Chaotic Creation Elephant.

The Bible is clear about how creation happens, the chaos occurs when people are pushed into conversations where doubts are brought up. As a result, people of faith – are made to feel like they are somehow less reasonable, rational, and sane.

That is the elephant we go looking for today – and who knows, once you get a better view of it, it might not be so big and overwhelming.

Elephant … What Elephant? You may have heard the phrase…there is an elephant in the room…which usually is referring to an obvious truth, situation, circumstance or reality that everyone is trying to ignore.

If we are not careful, we ignore so much that before we know it we are surrounded by a herd of elephants and they might just stampede.

This series goes where most are afraid to go, we are going to talk about the elephants in the room…and along the way discover some ways that we can live our best lives.

Today we explore the ginormous gray elephant and take a trip through the Gray Elephant Preserve to make sure these beasts stay where they belong.

Our study has taken us through how we think, how we live our lives, how to discover power, and how to live with goodness – all of these built upon the Genius of Jesus. In our final installment we are forced to answer the question – can we handle the truth? To get there, we look at the most famous conversation about truth that ever took place and we discover – the Genius of Truth

We are exploring how we ignite our minds and hearts as we step into being the genius we were created to be. The series is called Genius and we are daring to ask the question “is there a genius waiting in each of us to be untapped?” It was Albert Einstein who once said, “You have to color outside the lines once in a while if you want to make your life a masterpiece” – now we all know Al was a pretty smart guy. But in our opening session we found out who the greatest genius ever really was…and today… we will take the next step forward in seeing how lives can become better and brighter is we are willing to embrace who God has created us to be!

Genius is the name of the series. We have seen the way a genius thinks and we have seen some specific areas that genius must work in. Now, we discover that Jesus – as only a genius could – saw power as no one had ever imagined it…He reminded us with power comes great responsibility. If we are going to become like Him and allow His genius to be unleashed in us, then we have to understand as He explains the genius of power (and the cost)- today we will see how much power a genius can have.
