Edit: In regards to CT values, meant more to say that they are determined by the independent validation of each assay to maximize tradeoffs between sensitivity and specificity, so comparing raw numbers between assays makes no sense. Within the assay, you could compare one value to another and be certain the lower number had a higher amount of starting RNA (Not necessarily viral load)
