The most effective means to combat sexual impurity is humility. To exercise humility, we must have faith that God will lead us in the best way to live, and we must put complete trust in the Lord and not deceive ourselves with lust. The arrogance of our ego, including patterns of sinful thought and behavior, are the byproduct of a deep-rooted issue grounded in pride. Therefore, we must aim our primary attack against pride if we want to overcome sexual sin.
