When Simon was Disengaged, Discouraged, Disappointed, Jesus chose…HE CHOSE…. to sit in Simon’s boat. Jesus stepped in when Simon was at his lowest point.
If we know we need to go out further and deeper, but everything we’ve tried is failing, we simply can’t muster what it takes to do the next thing. We can’t possibly gather enough courage to take another step to go out further and deeper to where the fish are.
