In this episode we get into Love Jones starring Nia Long and Larenz Tate. Most people would name this movie as one of their favorite movies that depicts Black Love and I would have to agree. 

In this episode we get into the narrative that Nicki is "beefing" with other girls for no reason at all. I still don't see any of it as beef fr. She’s a rapper and all the speculation of who she’s had bars for has not been confirmed 🤷🏾‍♀️. It’s really damned if she do, damned if she don’t so why y’all mad she embraces the bad guy role? The effortless way they are able to go back and forth with their comedic banter is hilariously appealing and makes this movie some of their best work. The movie tells a story about two men who met one unfortunate night that changed their lives forever. Wrongfully accused of murder Ray and Claude are charged with Life in prison.

Uh ohhhh we back with a new NMC episode. I definitely wasn't expecting to be discussing a new song this soon but here we are! Welcome to my annual end of the year episode. In this bonus episode we get into Ellen Pompeo parting ways with the show Grey's Anatomy(4:10). It’s been a lil while since we last discussed The Queen of Rap. Let’s catch up and get into the Grammy noms, Super Freaky Girl success and the conversation about ghostwriters and people questioning Nicki’s pen. I didn’t talk about it but did want to praise the latest magazine covers that Nicki graced recently. Both cover stories were based on Nicki bein interviewed by one of her peers. Interview magazine and i.D magazine are out now and the articles are a great read! Might talk about them on a next episode.

In this final spooky season episode, we get into a different type of scary movie. One that doesn't involve a masked killer. The Sixth Sense is more along the lines of a ghost movie. After the review we get into some horror movie recommendations like Evil Dead, It Follows and some of the more recent movies like Barbarian and Black Phone. Come to find out Barbarian should be available to stream on HBO MAX by the time this episode is out.

Nicki posed a very valid question and point but some how this has been turned into her being a “bully”. Some people clearly want Nicki to shut up and have her team speak for her. But Nicki has always been outspoken and I doubt she will stop being that just for twitters sake.

In this episode we get into the slasher franchise Scream. These movies have been trending topics all year. That's because the impact of the Scream movie is going to stand the test of time. With one of the best opening scenes in Scream (1996), this franchise proves to be most people's favorite of them all. Who God Bless, no man can curse! Nicki has been winning all year, I think that's what is most important. I think these new Femcees should care about what type of career they have in 15+ years. We’ve made it to October which is the start of Spooky Season. The first movie for the month is a classic slasher film of the 90s.

In this episode we get into one of my favorite Rom coms ever starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. Adam plays Robbie Hart, a wedding singer that is passionate about writing music and doing what he can until he gets his big break in the music industry. Drew plays Julia, who is a little unsure about her engagement. These two love bird end up finding each other and realizing what real love should feel like. 

In this episode we get into the thriller Kiss The Girls starring Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd. Freeman plays Dr. Alex Cross, a Forensic Psychologist that goes on a hunt for his nieces kidnapper. In this episode we are getting into the movie Eve's Bayou. A family goes through the ups and downs that infidelity and death can cause on one. We also get into the Creole Culture and the origins of voodoo.

First of all the #QueenMix was released and did not disappoint. It was a moment for the culture and instead of some choosing to celebrate and be proud of it they chose to hate. S/o to JT, Bia, Katie Got Bandz, Akbar and Maliibu Mitch for doing an amazing job on writing their verses and getting the opportunity to work with the Queen of Rap. Why is it only female rap unity when it doesn't involve Nicki? Did you know that Super Freaky girl has been the most streamed hip hop song for a month straight according to Hip Hop All Day? But we are supposed to allow these girls to compare themselves and say they are on her level? The disrespect has been tolerated enough by Nicki, she's be silent before. She was silent through some of the worse times but now that she is defending herself and her legacy when she see fits it's a problem? I'm getting into a lot this episode and forgive me if my thoughts are all over the place. 

The VMAs was a blast. The Super Freaky Girl video is fire and the views are speculated to be averaging 1 mil a day so it’s safe to say the people are loving the video. Nicki will have a #QueenRadio episode tonight and may premiere a #Queenmix to SFG during the episode. Who is going to be on the remix? The people are dying to know.

Nicki killed her gig hosting the #RHOPreunion it was really epic. So we are discussing that and going through some tweets from viewers. Sometimes it’s hard to know if you should trust you’re making the right decisions. Sometimes we look for others to validate our feelings and the decisions we make. In this episode I talk about a situation that caused me to question myself, all along I should’ve just trusted myself to know what the hell I was talking about.

First off, I’ll like to say RIP to Kobe and GiGi Bryant along with the other families who lost there lives on Sunday. I pray for the ones devastatingly affected by the sudden death of the 9 people that was on that helicopter. Let’s all do our best to enjoy and love the life we live while we can.
