Sorry what did you Sign? CESI Staffroom Pedagogy and the educational use of technology.
This episode of the CESI staffroom is an extension of the last webinar “Pedagogy and the educational use of tech” link here (https://youtu.be/fq6kWqGWrts) . In the webinar I mentioned a mother and daughter duo that started an instagram channel called “sign a day” and how I was hooked. The aim of the Instagram channel is to promote sign language for September (deaf awareness moth) but the popularity of it has meant they’ll keep it up and with guest stars like Amy Huberman, Laura Whitmore and Dave Moore from todayfm and more…….. why wouldn’t they. Learning sign language is hard, learning a sign a day is easy. On a personal note, when I interviewed them for the first time they had 400 followers, two weeks later + an appearance on virgin media this morning they have 6000 + followers . Challenge, how many signs will you learn by the time CESI Con comes around again. As always please like share and subscribe to the CESI YouTube Channel and you’ll be notified the next time a video is uploaded. it’s worth noting that resources are being uploaded all the time. If you have an interesting story from your school then we want to hear from you. Twitter: @cesitweets @hassandabbagh Instagram : https://www.instagram.com/signtohear/
