The Chocobros return to talk all things gaming! We kick this week's episode off in our "What are you playing" segment. We talk the leak and subsequent release of the highly anticpated GTA:VI trailer while discussing our favorite trailers of all time! Dash reminisces over Jak and Daxter while we celebrate more Resident Evil remakes! The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered's new mode gets first looks while Payday 3's developers are creating a new Dungeons and Dragons title! We close the show talking about the new Rocket League/Fortnite hybrid mode!

EPISODE 33: THE GAME AWARDS PREDICTIONS?!
The Chocobros are back! We talk about what games we think will win major awards, and what games could potentially surprise us as an announcement at The Game Awards! We talk in our weekly "What Are You Playing" segment. We highlight specific cons that people can meet video game actors! Dragon's Dogma 2 gets a release date and we highlight the pickups from this year's Black Friday!

EPISODE 32: THANKSGIVING/BLACK FRIDAY BONANZA!
The Chocobros come together to talk what games we are playing this week! The The Last Of Us 2 is getting remastered and we talk about Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and it's GAAS dynamic! We talk about one of our new favorite games Lethal Company, as well as what is a new contender for worst game of the year in The Walking Dead: Destinies. EPISODE 29: INTERVIEW WITH THE NARRATOR AND THE WORST GAME OF 2023
The Chocobros interview our SIXTH member of the Baldur's Gate 3 cast! This time joining us is always heard but never seen, Amelia Tyler! With one of the smoothest voices you'll ever hear, Amelia narrates the game of the year contender, Baldur's Gate 3. Amelia talks to us about her experience as an actor in games such as Divinity: Original Sin 2, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous and the upcoming Hades 2! We start the second half of the episode talking about what games we're playing, the return of Guitar Hero and Ubisoft starting it's own streaming service! Best Buy is getting out of physical media, Pete Hines of Bethesda fame is retiring and we also shoutout Doug Cockle of the Witcher's new project! Spider Man 2 is days way, G tells the tale of the Poop Slinger and we dive into what is arguably the worst game of the year in Skull Island: Rise of Kong.

EPISODE 28: INTERVIEW WITH THE GHOST OF TSUSHIMA/SCORPION AND OUR FAVORITE FURRY COMPANIONS!
The Chocobros come together to interview THE GHOST OF TSUSHIMA HIMSELF! Daisuke Tsuji joins the show to talk about playing Jin Sakai in one of the podcast's favorite games. He details the experience and what it's like working with one of his now best friends, Earl T. Kim AKA Norio! Daisuke also recently took up the mantle as Scorpion in Mortal Kombat 1 and talks about playing a much different version than in games past! We start the second half talking about what we're playing and what games are coming out in October! The PS5 Slim is releasing in November! Assassin's Creed: Mirage releases to lukewarm reviews even if it is a return to it's natural AC form! We credit Cyberpunk on a crazy turnaround, Unity CEO's stepping down, Max Payne's incoming remake. We close the show out sending our condolences to a fallen furry companion and talking about our favorite animal companions in gaming!

EPISODE 27: INTERVIEW WITH LAE'ZEL AND ERIK GOES CREATIVE ON CREATIVE ASSEMBLY!
The Chocobros have an amazing opportunity to interview Devora Wilde, whom you may recognize as the voice and mo-cap for Lae'zel from Baldur's Gate 3! In addition she also voices one of the new characters in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty! We chatted with her about her undertaking of this role, why people should give Lae'zel a chance and some of her favorite memories with an incredibly memorable cast! For the second half of the show, we talk about the games we are all playing this week, Phantom Liberty, Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways and Erik officially drops the hammer on Creative Assembly. We dive into Jim Ryan's retirement as Playstation CEO, who could be next to take up the mantle and the imminent possibility of the new The Last of Us project being cancelled.

EPISODE 26: MINDFLAYING INTERVIEW WITH EMPEROR AND THE FEEL OF A SMOOTH HAIRLESS CAT
The Chocobros come together to interview the one and only Scott Joseph! Scott played the Emperor in Baldurs Gate 3! Scott joined for an interview to talk about his experience bringing a mindflayer to life in one of this years most commercially and critically acclaimed games. We talk about what we're playing, the releases of Separate Ways and Phantom Liberty! Dash gives us a review of MK1 (psssttttt, he liked it!), we talk the BG3 updates, the new Sony hack, the Aspyr lawsuit and Konami's Metal Gear Solid news!

EPISODE 25: XBOX, WHAT ARE YOU LEAKING? AND IT'S A GIF NOT A GIF!
The Chocobros, Dash, Erik and G discuss this week's hot button topics in gaming. We discuss what each of us are playing, Mortal Kombat 1 is finally out (and doesn't look very good on the Switch). Nintendo Direct and Playstation State of Play arrive prior to Tokyo Game show. Stig Asmussen leaving Respawn/EA, Hades 2 officially going into early access. With the Last of Us day upon us, we wonder if something may be afoot. We talk the Microsoft leaks in one of the worst leaks we've seen all year and close the show talking about the issues of sports games, their annual release cycles and what the greatest sports games of all are!

EPISODE 24: INTERVIEW WITH THOMAS MITCHELLS
The Chocobros come together to interview voice director/actor of Baldur's Gate 3 Thomas Mitchells! Thomas talks to us about his experience working on the massive project that was Baldur's Gate 3. He also talks about some of his other projects that he has worked on including Jagged Alliance 3, and Expeditions: Rome. We continue the second half in our weekly segment of "What are you playing". We discuss the Charles Martinet news, the new Castlevania: Nocturne series coming out at the end of September! Cyberpunk: Phantom Liberty is almost among us as is the 2.0 update! We briefly touch on the Last of Us Hollywood Studios opening, the 19 inches of Venom tweet, yes that one, and cross play becoming the norm with both Mortal Kombat 1 and Baldur's Gate 3 talking implementation. We dive into the Unity developer decision and end talking about Dune Spice Wars. We all talked about Gamepass in this one.

EPISODE 23: INTERVIEW WITH KARLACH AND THE RETURN OF GODD HOWARD
The Chocobros are so excited to be able to announce that our next interview is with none other than Samantha Béart, AKA Karlach from Baldurs Gate 3! Samantha talked to us about their experience voicing one of the most wholesome loveable characters in recent memory, the audition process and how impactful it's been thus far to them! We talked about the closing of Volition Studios, and Erik gives us a spoiler-free review of Starfield thus far! We talk the negatives of the Playstation Plus price increase, touch base on Super Mario Bros. Wonder as well as the actor's strike officially making it's way into the gaming genre! We close out the show talking about the Final Fantasy 16 DLC announcement and Hogwarts Legacy incoming sequel.

EPISODE 22: IN SPACE, NO ONE CAN HEAR THE ANTICIPATION
The Chocobros come together for our first non interview episode in a WHILE! We give our weekly segment of "What Are You Playing", talk about the STACKED lineup of releases slated for September including Starfield, Mortal Kombat 1, Cyberpunk and more! We discuss the announcement of both the Turok 3 and Star Wars: Dark Forces remasters, while seeing the gleaming reviews for both Armored Core VI and Sea of Stars. We close the show talking about Starfield, it's anticipation and potential controversy, the huge benefits of Gamepass, especially in this month and go off on a Kingdom Hearts tangent.

EPISODE 21: INTERVIEW WITH A MANIAC AND MENUS ARE FOR STARTING, NOT FOR WHINING
The Chocobros come together to interview Jesse Pimentel of Resident Evil 7, and Resident Evil Village! Jesse talks to us about his unique experience auditioning for the game, wearing the mo-cap suit and his love for shelter dogs among other things. We start the second half of the show previewing Gamescom, Erik gives his full review of Baldurs Gate 3. We all talk a little gamepass and discuss the lackluster release of both Immortals of Aveum and Atlas Fallen. We end the show talking about a recent topic of video game menus, and why people shouldn't judge a book by it's theoretical cover. Really, it's just a main menu.

EPISODE 20: INTERVIEW WITH CARTH ONASI AND THE GREATEST VILLAINS OF ALL!
The Chocobros come together to interview famed actor Raphael Sbarge who's also known as Carth Onasi in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Kaiden Alenko in Mass Effect. Raphael talks to us about the ongoing WGA/SAG strike, his illustrious career and how impactful being a part of two huge gaming franchises has been. For the second half of the show, we talk GTA VI, Baldurs Gate 3 being the highest rated PC release of all time, and close out the show talking about our favorite villains and boss fights in ALL of gaming.

EPISODE 18: INTERVIEW WITH CHRIS REDFIELD AND THE HORRIBLE STREAK OF LEAKS
The Chocobros come together to interview veteran voice actor/modeler Joe Whyte! Joe has credits in Emperor's New Groove (8 different parts!), Tarzan and is also the voice of Chris Redfield in Resident Evil HD! Joe talks to us about his career as both a modeler and voice actor and his favorite experiences in this industry. WE FINALLY ANNOUNCE OUR WINNER OF THE CONTEST!!!! We also talked about Baldurs Gate 3's imminent release, what games we're playing, the August slate of releases and finish off the show talking about the prevalence of leaks in today's gaming industry!

EPISODE 17: INTERVIEW WITH SOVEREIGN AND THE CURIOUS CASE OF BATTLE PASSES
The Chocobros come together to interview veteran voice actor Peter Jessop, famous for voice Sovereign in Mass Effect, Albert Wesker in Resident Evil HD, Paladin Danse in Fallout 4 and MANY more! Peter talks to us about his ambitions going forward in this industry and some of the roles he's really enjoyed playing. We also introduce a new segment titled, What Are You Playing, where the Chocobros talk about some of the games we've been playing this week. Maybe you've heard of some of them, maybe you haven't! G and Eric both talk about Gamepass. We highlight the new Spider-Man 2 trailer and give our thoughts! We close the show out talking about the implementation of Battle/Season Passes in today's gaming world.

The Chocobros come together to interview Mike Laidlaw, former creative director of the Dragon Age series and current CCO of Yellow Brick Games. Mike talks about his influences for Dragon Age, diving heavy into DnD lore, and his love for Nier: Automata! For the second half of the episode, we discuss the conundrum of "what is the best gaming year of all time". We talk the the new Twisted Metal trailer, Diablo 4 Season 1, give our final review of Final Fantasy XVI and talk a little bit more about the first ever Chocobo Chasers giveaway!

EPISODE 14: STAY A WHILE AND LISTEN! AN INTERVIEW WITH DECKARD CAIN!
The Chocobros come together for an amazing opportunity to hear one of the biggest voices of our childhood, Michael Gough, who famously voices the horadrim Deckard Cain in the Diablo series! Michael talks about some really interesting aspects throughout his career in voice acting and also offers us a taste of some of the unique voices he brings to gaming! The Chocobros come together to finalize our thoughts on the Microsoft/FTC battle, Dash and G give a review of Final Fantasy XVI (PS it's REALLY GOOD), Baldur's Gate 3 moving UP in release date. The Chocobros debate about which Spider Man they'd all be in No Way Home while also discussing movie licensed video games, what happened to them?! And for the final part of our show, we talk about video games' place in award ceremonies such as the Oscars/Emmys.

The Chocobros have the pleasure of interviewing Travis Eriksen, Executive Director of Child's Play Charity, a charity aimed at providing gaming support and relief for children who are undergoing a pediatric patient experience. Travis takes us through the ins and outs of what makes Child's Play so unique. Erik, Dash and G also discuss the issue of toxic gaming, why does it exist, and what can we do better to avoid it going forward. Another hot topic of this episode is why are adaptations of video games in other media so hit and miss. We've seem some really high points and some terrible lows. What are our dream projects? We also talk about some of our favorite titles we wish we could play over again for the first time, as well as our most played games throughout our long gaming histories.
