In this playful episode from a recent visit to Denver, Colorado, Chris sits down with his dear friend Max Paularena who is a Visionary Artist and shamanic practitioner. In this talk they discuss their latino heritage, the importance of having an art community, sacred plant medicines (Psilocybin, Ayahuasca, cacti and Kambo) and the healing roles they play. They also discuss their time spent in the Jungle, what it means to be shamanic, the ethics of navigating power, Mexican traditions, Max’s art career, his own healing journey, transgenderism and the spectrum of gender.

Chris Dyer sits down with fellow artist Chris Morphis at Sol Fest to discuss his process and experience of becoming a renegade artist.
