Healthy Habits, Happy Life: Exploring the Benefits of Living a Healthy Lifestyle
Healthy Habits, Happy Life: Exploring the Benefits of Living a Healthy Lifestyle
Today, I want to talk to you about the importance of living a healthy lifestyle. We all know that we should take care of our bodies, but sometimes life gets in the way, and we forget to prioritize our health. However, there are countless reasons why making healthy choices should be a priority, and I'm here to remind you of just a few of them.
First and foremost, taking care of your body is the ultimate act of self-love. When you eat nutritious foods, exercise regularly, and get enough rest, you are showing yourself that you value your health and well-being. This can have a profound impact on your mental health, giving you a sense of confidence and self-assurance that radiates out into all areas of your life.
Additionally, living a healthy lifestyle can help you achieve your goals and dreams. When you feel good in your body, you have more energy and motivation to pursue your passions and ambitions. Whether you're trying to climb the corporate ladder, start your own business, or simply be the best parent you can be, taking care of your physical health is an essential piece of the puzzle.
Of course, there are also countless physical benefits to living a healthy lifestyle. When you fuel your body with nutritious foods, you're providing it with the vitamins, minerals, and nutrients it needs to function at its best. This can help you maintain a healthy weight, reduce your risk of chronic diseases like heart disease and diabetes, and boost your overall energy levels.
And let's not forget about the mental health benefits of exercise. Regular physical activity has been shown to reduce stress and anxiety, boost mood, and even improve cognitive function. So, if you're feeling overwhelmed or stuck in a rut, a good workout might be just what you need to get back on track.
Of course, living a healthy lifestyle isn't always easy. It takes discipline, commitment, and hard work. But the rewards are truly priceless. When you take care of your body, you're investing in your future, setting yourself up for a lifetime of health and happiness.
So, I challenge you to make your health a priority starting today. Whether that means taking a walk every morning, cooking more nutritious meals at home, or simply getting more sleep, every small step you take towards a healthier lifestyle is a step in the right direction. And remember, the most important thing is to be kind to yourself along the way. You deserve to feel your best, and with a little effort and dedication, you can make that a reality.

Life Beyond Obligations
Life Beyond Obligations
In this podcast episode, we explore the challenges and complexities of being a caregiver. The book emphasizes the importance of self-care and highlights the idea that caregiving is not all there is to life.
Guest, Moniqe Verpoort provides some useful everyday tips on how to cope with and remove stress using EFT, Emotional Freedom Techniques.
We briefly explore the emotional and psychological toll that caregiving can take on an individual, and the various obligations that come with being a caregiver. We discuss the societal expectations placed on caregivers and the difficulties that arise when trying to balance one's own life outside of caregiving.
Throughout the episode, we delve into the experiences of caregivers and the various ways in which they navigate their responsibilities.
"We're emotionally invested in what's going on within the family, so we tend to take on the stress of other family members within the home as well. And, it's this responsibility to kind of make sure everybody's okay, everybody's taken care of, and we can get sucked into that because we are always looking towards others to how we can sort of make things better for them." - Verpoort

Follow These 5-tips To Make Progress
Follow These 5-tips To Make Progress
We've all experienced tough times, whether it's personal struggles or global events that impact us all. It's during these times that we need to find the motivation to keep moving forward and pushing through. So, let's dive into some tips on how to do just that.
Tip number 1
Focus on your "why." When times get tough, it's easy to lose sight of why you started in the first place. Whether it's a personal or professional goal, reminding yourself of the purpose behind it can give you the motivation you need to keep going. Take some time to reflect on why this goal is important to you, and keep that at the forefront of your mind.
Tip number 2
Break things down into small steps. When you're facing a big challenge, it can seem overwhelming. But by breaking it down into smaller, manageable tasks, it becomes less daunting. This can help you stay motivated because you're able to see progress along the way. Celebrate each small step and use it as momentum to keep going.
Tip number 3
Find inspiration from others. Surround yourself with people who inspire and motivate you. Read books, listen to podcasts, or watch videos of people who have overcome obstacles and achieved great things. Their stories can give you the motivation you need to keep pushing through.
Tip number 4
Take care of yourself. When you're going through a difficult time, it's easy to neglect your own needs. But taking care of yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally is essential for staying motivated. Make sure you're getting enough sleep, eating well, and taking time to do things that make you happy.
Tip number 5
Stay positive. It's easy to get bogged down by negative thoughts and emotions, but focusing on the positive can help keep you motivated. Surround yourself with positive affirmations, meditate, or practice gratitude to shift your mindset and keep your spirits up.
Remember, difficult times are just temporary, and you have the strength and resilience to get through them. By focusing on your "why," breaking things down into small steps, finding inspiration from others, taking care of yourself, and staying positive, you can remain motivated during even the toughest of times.
Thanks for tuning in to today's episode. If you found these tips helpful, be sure to share this podcast with someone who might need it. Until next time, stay inspired!

The Power of Self-Love: Embracing and Celebrating Yourself
The Power of Self-Love: Embracing and Celebrating Yourself
Hello and welcome to this podcast on loving yourself. Today, we're going to explore the power of self-love and how it can transform your life.
Firstly, let me ask you a question: When was the last time you looked in the mirror and truly appreciated the person staring back at you? When was the last time you treated yourself with the same kindness, compassion, and love that you give to others?
Self-love is not selfish or self-indulgent. It is a necessary foundation for a healthy and fulfilling life. When we love ourselves, we set a standard for how we allow others to treat us. We also become more resilient, compassionate, and confident individuals.
Now, I understand that loving yourself can be easier said than done. We live in a society that often tells us we're not good enough, and that we need to change our appearance, personality, or behavior to fit in. But the truth is, you are already enough, exactly as you are.
So, how can we cultivate self-love? One way is through self-care. Taking time to care for our physical, emotional, and mental well-being is a powerful act of self-love. This could mean exercising regularly, eating well, getting enough sleep, or practicing mindfulness.
Another way to love ourselves is through self-compassion. We all make mistakes and experience setbacks, but instead of beating ourselves up, we can learn to be kind and supportive towards ourselves. Imagine speaking to yourself the way you would speak to a dear friend who is going through a tough time.
Lastly, let's not forget the power of gratitude. Taking time to appreciate and celebrate our strengths, accomplishments, and blessings can help us to see ourselves in a more positive light. Instead of focusing on our flaws and shortcomings, let's celebrate our unique qualities and talents.
In conclusion, loving yourself is a journey, not a destination. It requires patience, persistence, and practice. But the rewards are immeasurable. When we love ourselves, we open ourselves up to a world of possibilities and live a life filled with joy, fulfillment, and purpose.
So, I encourage you to start today. Take a small step towards self-love, whether it's practicing self-care, self-compassion, or gratitude. And remember, you are worthy of love and acceptance, exactly as you are.

Gratitude: The Transformative Power of Appreciation
Gratitude: The Transformative Power of Appreciation
Today, I want to share with you some tips and tricks for developing an attitude of gratitude and how it can positively impact your life.
First of all, let me start by saying that gratitude is not just a cheesy buzzword. It's a scientifically proven fact that cultivating a grateful mindset can improve your overall well-being and happiness. Studies have shown that gratitude can lower stress levels, improve relationships, and increase resilience in the face of adversity.
So, how can we cultivate a grateful mindset? One way is to practice gratitude journaling. This means taking a few minutes each day to write down things that you are thankful for. It can be as simple as having a roof over your head, a delicious meal, or spending time with loved ones. By focusing on the good in our lives, we can shift our perspective and cultivate a sense of appreciation for what we have.
Another way to cultivate gratitude is to practice mindfulness. Mindfulness means being present and aware of your surroundings and your thoughts without judgment. By practicing mindfulness, we can appreciate the small things in life that we often take for granted. For example, taking a deep breath of fresh air, feeling the sun on our skin, or listening to the sound of birds chirping.
A third way to cultivate gratitude is to express it to others. When we express gratitude to others, it not only makes them feel good, but it also reinforces our own sense of gratitude. Take the time to thank someone for something they did for you or tell someone how much you appreciate them. By spreading positivity and gratitude, we can create a ripple effect that can impact others and ourselves.
In conclusion, cultivating a grateful mindset is not only important for our own happiness and well-being but also for the world around us. By focusing on the good in our lives, practicing mindfulness, and expressing gratitude to others, we can shift our perspective and appreciate all the amazing things that life has to offer.
So, let's all take a moment to reflect on what we are thankful for and make gratitude a part of our daily lives. Thank you for listening, and I hope you leave here today feeling inspired to cultivate a grateful mindset.

Beating The Odds Through Resilience and Adversity
Beating The Odds Through Resilience and Adversity
Life is full of ups and downs. It is a journey that is often unpredictable, and it can throw us many curveballs along the way. We all face adversity at some point in our lives. However, it is not the adversity that defines us, but rather how we respond to it.
Building resilience through adversity is not an easy task, but it is possible. It is essential to recognize that resilience is not just about bouncing back from difficult situations. It is also about growing and learning from them, developing a sense of inner strength, and building the mental and emotional stamina needed to face life's challenges head-on.
When we face adversity, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and discouraged. However, we must remember that we are not alone in this journey. Many great individuals throughout history have faced incredible adversity and come out stronger on the other side.
Think of Abraham Lincoln, who lost eight elections, suffered a nervous breakdown, and lost two children. Despite all these setbacks, he persisted and became one of the greatest presidents of the United States.
Think of J.K. Rowling, who was rejected by twelve publishers before Harry Potter was accepted for publication. Her resilience and determination turned her into one of the most successful authors in history.
These examples show that resilience is not an innate quality, but rather a skill that can be developed and cultivated through practice and perseverance.
When faced with adversity, it is crucial to focus on the things that you can control. This may include developing a positive attitude, seeking support from loved ones, or engaging in activities that bring you joy.
It is also important to practice self-care and prioritize your mental and emotional well-being. This may include getting enough rest, eating well, exercising regularly, and seeking professional help if needed.
Remember, building resilience through adversity is a process. It is not something that happens overnight. It requires patience, persistence, and a willingness to learn and grow from our experiences.
In conclusion, my dear friends, when life throws you a curveball, do not be discouraged. Instead, embrace the challenge, focus on what you can control, and cultivate your inner strength and resilience. Remember that with time, effort, and a positive attitude, you can overcome any obstacle and emerge stronger on the other side.
Thank you.

What Are SMART Goals?
What Are SMART Goals?
Good morning, everyone!
It's Tuesday, and I can feel the energy and determination in the air. There's something special about Tuesdays, don't you think? It's the perfect day to set your intentions for the week ahead and focus on your goals.
Speaking of goals, I want to talk to you today about the importance of setting them. Goals are essential if you want to achieve anything in life. They give you direction, motivation, and a sense of purpose.
But setting goals isn't enough. You have to make them specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. In other words, you need to create SMART goals.
Let me give you an example. If your goal is to get fit, saying "I want to exercise more" is not enough. It's vague and doesn't give you a clear plan of action. But if you say, "I want to run a 5K in six months," you have a specific goal that is measurable, achievable, and time-bound. You can break it down into smaller steps, like running for 30 minutes a day or increasing your distance each week. And you have a deadline to work towards.
Setting SMART goals is just the first step. You also need to stay motivated and focused. It's easy to get distracted or discouraged when things don't go as planned. But remember, setbacks are a natural part of the journey. It's how you respond to them that matters.
One way to stay motivated is to celebrate your progress along the way. Every time you reach a milestone or achieve a small victory, take a moment to acknowledge it and give yourself a pat on the back. It's important to recognize that every step counts, no matter how small.
Another way to stay focused is to surround yourself with people who support and encourage you. Find a friend or a mentor who shares your goals and can help you stay accountable. Join a community or a group that shares your interests. Having a support system can make all the difference in achieving your goals.
So, on this Tuesday morning, I encourage you to set your goals and make them SMART. Stay motivated, stay focused, and celebrate your progress along the way. Remember, anything is possible if you have a clear vision and the determination to make it happen. Let's make this Tuesday the start of a great week ahead!
Thank you, and have a fantastic day!

The Servant Girl Annihilator
The Servant Girl Annihilator
Listener discretion is advised.
The Servant Girl Annihilator is a notorious serial killer who terrorized the city of Austin, Texas, in the late 1800s. The killer was responsible for a series of brutal murders that took place between 1884 and 1885. The identity of the Servant Girl Annihilator remains a mystery to this day, and the case has captured the imagination of true crime enthusiasts and historians for over a century.
The murders began on December 30, 1884, when Mollie Smith, a young servant girl, was attacked and killed in her bed while she slept. Her attacker used an axe to bludgeon her to death and then proceeded to drag her body out of the house and onto the street. The murder was shocking and caused widespread panic throughout the city. It was the first in a series of similar attacks that would continue for over a year.
Over the course of the next year, at least six more women were murdered in similar attacks. The killer targeted young servant girls who worked in the homes of wealthy families. The attacks were brutal, with the killer using an axe or other blunt object to bludgeon his victims to death. The killer also targeted men who tried to intervene, and at least one man was killed while attempting to protect his wife.
The Servant Girl Annihilator was known for his stealth and cunning. He was able to enter the homes of his victims without being detected, and he was never caught in the act. The killer also seemed to have an uncanny ability to evade capture. Despite a massive manhunt and the involvement of the Pinkerton Detective Agency, the killer was never identified or brought to justice.
The Servant Girl Annihilator case is notable for several reasons. For one, it was one of the earliest documented cases of serial killers in the United States. It also represents a fascinating chapter in the history of Texas, which was still a relatively new state at the time. The case has also inspired countless books, articles, and documentaries over the years.
There are many theories about the identity of the Servant Girl Annihilator, but none have been proven. Some historians believe that the killer was a man named Nathan Elgin, who was a suspect in several of the murders. Elgin was eventually sent to an insane asylum, but he was never officially charged with the crimes.
Others believe that the killer was a member of a secret society or cult and that the murders were part of some kind of ritualistic practice. This theory is largely based on the fact that several of the victims were found with strange symbols carved into their flesh. However, there is no concrete evidence to support this theory.
Another theory is that the killer was a wealthy or influential member of society who was able to evade capture due to his status. This theory is supported by the fact that many of the victims were young servant girls who worked in the homes of the city's wealthy elite.
Despite the many theories, the identity of the Servant Girl Annihilator remains a mystery. The case has been the subject of numerous books, films, and television shows, and it continues to fascinate true crime enthusiasts and historians alike.
In recent years, there has been renewed interest in the case, and several new theories have emerged. Some experts believe that the killer may have been a woman, citing the fact that several of the victims were attacked in their beds while they slept. Others believe that the killer may have been from a gang of criminals, rather than a lone individual.
Regardless of who the Servant Girl Annihilator was, his legacy lives on in the history of true crime. The case has inspired countless works of fiction and non-fiction, and it continues to captivate audiences to this day.

Daily Motivations and Inspirations: HOPE
Daily Motivations and Inspirations: HOPE
Hope is the cornerstone of our existence. It is what gives us the strength to persevere in the face of adversity, to overcome challenges, and to pursue our dreams. Hope is the light that guides us through the darkness and the beacon that calls us forward to a better tomorrow.
In these uncertain times, hope is more important than ever before. We are facing challenges that we never imagined possible, and it can be easy to feel overwhelmed, discouraged, and hopeless. But I am here to tell you that hope is not only possible but necessary.
Hope is not a passive emotion. It is not something that we sit back and wait for. Hope is an active choice that we make every day. It is a decision to believe in a better future, to work towards our goals, and to trust in our own abilities.
Hope is not a guarantee of success, but it is a guarantee of possibility. When we choose hope, we are opening ourselves up to the infinite potential of the universe. We are choosing to believe that anything is possible if we are willing to work hard and persevere.
Hope is not just a feeling; it is a state of being. When we choose hope, we are choosing to live our lives with purpose, passion, and intention. We are choosing to be the best version of ourselves and to make a positive impact on the world around us.
So, my friends, I urge you to choose hope. Choose to believe in yourself, in your dreams, and in a better tomorrow. Choose to take action toward your goals, face your fears, and overcome your obstacles. Choose to be the light that guides others through the darkness and the hope that inspires them to reach for the stars.
Remember, hope is not a luxury, it is a necessity. Without hope, we are lost. But with hope, we are unstoppable. So let us choose hope, let us embrace hope, and let us live our lives with hope in our hearts. Thank you.

Today, I want to talk to you about a topic that is near and dear to my heart: friendship.
Friendship is one of the most important things in life. It is a bond that can last a lifetime, and it is something that we all need in order to thrive. When we have good friends, we have people who support us, encourage us, and inspire us to be our best selves. And on days like today, when we might be feeling a little bit down or unmotivated, it is our friends who can give us the boost we need to keep moving forward.
So, I want to encourage you to take a moment today to think about your friends. Think about the people in your life who have been there for you through thick and thin, who have celebrated your successes and helped you through your failures. And if you're feeling like you don't have many friends right now, or that the friendships you do have aren't as strong as you'd like them to be, don't worry. Friendship is something that can be cultivated and nurtured over time. It takes effort and patience, but it is absolutely worth it.
So, let's all make an effort today to be good friends to those around us. Let's be kind, supportive, and encouraging, and let's take the time to really listen to and understand one another. How Small Acts of Compassion Can Change the World
How Small Acts of Compassion Can Change the World
Good afternoon, everyone!
As we move through today, I want to take a moment to talk about kindness. Kindness is one of the most important traits we can cultivate as human beings, and it has the power to transform our lives and the lives of those around us.
Think about the last time someone did something kind for you. Maybe a stranger held the door open for you, or a friend sent you an encouraging text message. How did it make you feel? Did it brighten your day and lift your spirits? That's the power of kindness.
Now, imagine if we all made a conscious effort to be kind to each other every day. Imagine the impact we could have on the world. It doesn't take a grand gesture or a lot of effort to be kind. Sometimes, it's the small things that make the biggest difference.
So, I challenge you to make kindness a priority in your life. Smile at someone on the street. Offer to help a coworker with a project. Send a note of appreciation to a friend. These small acts of kindness can have a ripple effect, spreading positivity and making the world a better place.
Remember, kindness is contagious. When you show kindness to others, it inspires them to be kind as well. And the more kindness we put out into the world, the more we'll receive in return.
So let's make today a little brighter by committing to be kind to those around us. Let's spread love, compassion, and positivity wherever we go. Together, we can make a difference.
Please kindly consider supporting this channel.
Thank you, and have a wonderful day!

The Elusive Serial Killer of San Francisco's Gay Community
The Elusive Serial Killer of San Francisco's Gay Community
The Black Doodler was a notorious serial killer who operated in San Francisco during the 1970s. He was responsible for the deaths of at least 14 young men, many of whom were members of the city's gay community. The killer was given the moniker "the Doodler" because of his habit of sketching caricatures of his victims before murdering them.
This report will examine the crimes committed by the Black Doodler, his motives, and ways to avoid being a victim of foul play.
The Black Doodler's Crimes
The Black Doodler's killing spree began in January 1974 and lasted until September 1975. During this time, he would frequent gay bars and nightclubs in San Francisco and strike up conversations with young men. He would then lure them to a secluded area, where he would stab and strangle them to death.
The killer's victims ranged in age from 15 to 27 years old. Most of them were African American or Asian American, and many were aspiring artists, dancers, or musicians. After killing his victims, the Black Doodler would dump their bodies in remote locations, making it difficult for the police to find them.
The Black Doodler's Motives
The motive behind the Black Doodler's killings is still unclear. Some experts believe that he was motivated by a deep-seated hatred for the gay community. Others suggest that he was a psychopath who derived pleasure from the act of killing.
One theory is that the Black Doodler targeted young, artistic men because they were less likely to report sexual assault. The killer may have used his sketches as a means of gaining the victim's trust before attacking them. The drawings may have also served as a form of self-expression for the killer, allowing him to explore his violent tendencies through art.
Avoiding Being a Victim of Foul Play
While the Black Doodler's crimes were committed in the 1970s, there are still lessons that can be learned from his case to help avoid being a victim of foul play. Here are some tips:
1. Trust Your Instincts
If you feel uncomfortable or unsafe in a situation, trust your instincts and leave. It's better to be safe than sorry.
2. Be Aware of Your Surroundings
Always be aware of your surroundings, especially when walking alone at night. Stay in well-lit areas and avoid secluded places.
3. Avoid Drinking Too Much Alcohol
Drinking too much alcohol can impair your judgment and make you more vulnerable to attack. Always drink responsibly and be aware of your limits.
4. Use the Buddy System
If possible, always travel with a friend or group of friends, especially when going out at night. There is safety in numbers.
5. Learn Self-Defense
Taking a self-defense class can give you the skills and confidence to defend yourself in dangerous situations.
Conclusion
The Black Doodler was a terrifying and elusive serial killer who preyed on the gay community in San Francisco during the 1970s. His motives remain unclear, but his crimes serve as a reminder of the dangers that can be present in our society.
While we cannot change the past, we can learn from it and take steps to protect ourselves from becoming victims of foul play. By trusting our instincts, being aware of our surroundings, avoiding excessive alcohol consumption, using the buddy system, and learning self-defense, we can reduce the risk of becoming a victim.

Behind the Story Of: Serial Killer: H. H. Holmes
Behind the Story Of: Serial Killer: H. H. Holmes
Visit BehindTheStoryOf,com for all our podcasts, or wherever you listen to your favorite podcasts.
Violence is never the answer nor should it be glorified.
H.H. Holmes, born Herman Webster Mudgett on May 16, 1861, is often considered one of the most notorious serial killers in American history. He is believed to have killed at least nine people, although some estimates suggest his victim count could be as high as 200.
Early Life and Career
H.H. Holmes was born in Gilmanton, New Hampshire, and grew up in a devout Methodist family. He was said to be a smart child who excelled in school, but also displayed a tendency towards mischief and deception.
After graduating from high school in 1878, Holmes enrolled at the University of Vermont to study medicine. He later transferred to the University of Michigan, where he earned a degree in medicine in 1884.
During his time in medical school, Holmes began engaging in various criminal activities. He would steal cadavers from the school's laboratory and use them to collect insurance money by staging fake accidents. He also stole money from his landlady and engaged in various acts of fraud.
After graduating from medical school, Holmes moved to Chicago and took a job as a pharmacist. He soon began working as a medical doctor, and in 1886 he purchased a pharmacy in the city's Englewood neighborhood.
Murders and Castle
It was during his time in Englewood that Holmes began his killing spree. He is believed to have killed his first victim, a pharmacist named Dr. E.S. Holton, in 1886. Holmes took over Holton's practice after his death, and it was from there that he began luring in his victims.
Holmes would often hire young women to work in his pharmacy, and then trap them in soundproof rooms in his "Castle" - a large, labyrinthine building he had constructed in 1892. The Castle had a number of secret passages and rooms, including a gas chamber, crematorium, and a surgical suite.
Holmes would often kill his victims by suffocating them with gas or poison, and then dispose of their bodies by burning them in the Castle's crematorium or dismembering them and selling their skeletons to medical schools.
Capture and Execution
In 1894, Holmes was finally caught and arrested for insurance fraud. During his trial, evidence of his other crimes began to emerge, and he was eventually charged with nine counts of murder.
Holmes was convicted and sentenced to death, and he was executed by hanging on May 7, 1896. His last words were reportedly "Take care of my wife."
Legacy
H.H. Holmes remains a fascinating figure in American history, both for his gruesome crimes and his enigmatic personality. He was known for his charm and charisma, which he used to manipulate and deceive his victims, as well as his intelligence and ingenuity in building his Castle.
Holmes has been the subject of numerous books, articles, and films, including the bestselling book "The Devil in the White City" by Erik Larson. His story continues to captivate the public, and his legacy as one of America's most notorious serial killers is unlikely to fade anytime soon.

Behind The Story Of Birthday Celebration's
Behind The Story Of Birthday Celebration's
Were birthdays always celebrated throughout time?
Birthday celebrations are a long-standing tradition that has been observed across many cultures throughout history. The celebration of one's birth date is a special occasion that is meant to recognize the individual's existence and mark the passage of time. The origins of birthday celebrations can be traced back to ancient civilizations.
In ancient Egypt, pharaohs celebrated their "birthdays" as the day they were coronated or crowned as ruler. The pharaohs believed that their coronation marked their rebirth as a divine being and therefore was a significant occasion to be celebrated. The Egyptians would also celebrate the birthdays of their gods and goddesses.
In ancient Greece, birthdays were celebrated for the gods and goddesses, as well as for important figures such as kings and generals. These celebrations often involved offerings of food and drink to the gods and lavish feasts for the people. In some cases, the celebration of a person's birth was considered a form of protection against evil spirits and bad luck.
The Romans were also known to celebrate birthdays, particularly those of emperors and members of the royal family. These celebrations often involved games, entertainment, and feasts. The tradition of giving gifts on birthdays was also started by the Romans. They believed that by giving gifts, they could protect the birthday person from evil spirits.
In the Christian tradition, birthday celebrations were not initially recognized. In fact, early Christians considered birthday celebrations to be pagan rituals and therefore did not celebrate them. However, as Christianity spread, the celebration of birthdays became more accepted. The first birthday celebration of Jesus is said to have been celebrated in the 4th century AD.
In medieval Europe, the celebration of birthdays was typically reserved for royalty and the wealthy. These celebrations often involved feasting, dancing, and other forms of entertainment. The tradition of blowing out candles on a birthday cake is said to have originated in medieval Germany. It was believed that the smoke from the candles carried the birthday person's prayers to the heavens.
In modern times, birthday celebrations have become more widespread and are celebrated by people of all ages and backgrounds. Today, birthday celebrations typically involve parties, gifts, and the singing of "Happy Birthday." In many cultures, the celebration of a person's birth is considered a significant milestone and is marked with special ceremonies and traditions.
In conclusion, the origins of birthday celebrations can be traced back to ancient civilizations. The celebration of a person's birth has been observed across cultures throughout history, and the traditions associated with it have evolved over time. Today, birthday celebrations are a widespread and important tradition that is cherished by people of all ages and backgrounds.

Time Travel - Would You Do It?
Time Travel - Would You Do It?
If you were given the opportunity to travel back in time, would you do it? At what point in your life would you travel back to, and why?
Time travel to the past is a popular concept in science fiction, but in reality, it is currently considered impossible based on our current understanding of physics. However, if we were to imagine a scenario where time travel to the past was possible, it would have significant implications for the present.
One of the most commonly discussed theories about the effects of time travel on the present is the grandfather paradox. The paradox suggests that if someone were to travel back in time and kill their own grandfather before their parent was born, then they would never have been born, which means they would not be able to travel back in time to kill their grandfather, creating a paradox.
This paradox illustrates how time travel to the past could potentially alter the course of history, leading to a different present than the one we currently experience. It is believed that any change made to the past would ripple forward and affect the future. This is known as the butterfly effect, where even small changes in the past could have significant consequences in the present.
For example, imagine a time traveler goes back in time and prevents a major historical event, such as the assassination of a political leader. This action could lead to a completely different timeline where the political leader survives, and their policies could shape the world in a different way than we currently experience.
On a more personal level, time travel to the past could also affect the present in unexpected ways. For instance, if a time traveler were to travel back in time and interact with their past self, they could influence their own decisions and change the course of their own life, leading to a different present than the one they experienced before traveling back in time.
In conclusion, time travel to the past is currently considered impossible, but if it were possible, it would have significant implications for the present. The butterfly effect suggests that any changes made to the past would ripple forward and affect the future, leading to a potentially different present than the one we currently experience.

Chinese Spy Balloons and UFOs: Are We Being Watched?
Chinese Spy Balloons and UFOs: Are We Being Watched?
Are we being watched by extraterrestrials or is it just a case of mistaken identity?
(caution- volume is extremely loud at approximately the 20 second mark for 3 seconds)
The UAP/UFO's that were shot down recently over Alaska and Lake Huron are exactly that, Unidentified Flying Object(s). That doesn't mean that they are from another solar system, planet, or dimension visiting planet earth. The objects are unidentified..
These recent down object(s) the week of FEB 12th were unlike the spy balloons by the PRC that was shot down earlier, and retrieved.
Michigan Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin said, "NORAD, which has the mission of protecting the United States, is paying extremely close attention to anything that's flying in our skies," she said at a recent press conference. "They've really lowered the threshold of what they're looking at and this pinged on their radars about 24 hours ago."
The Pentagon confirmed in a statement on Sunday afternoon, February 12, that the most recent object was shot down over Lake Huron at about 20, 000 feet at 2:42 PM by an F-16 fighter firing an AIM9x missile. (some reports I read said that it was an F-22 Raptor)
After concerns about risks to civil aviation were raised by the object's path and altitude, President Joe Biden issued the order on the advice of military leadership. Although it wasn't deemed to be a military threat, the statement suggested that it might have had surveillance capabilities.
What are your thoughts on this? What were the objects? Should we have investigated more before downing the UAP/UFO's?

Military K9 and Service Dog Rescue - Overworked, Mistreated, and Tortured
Military K9 and Service Dog Rescue - Overworked, Mistreated, and Tortured
Help by supporting: Mission K9 Rescue
In 2021, an alleged animal cruelty incident occurred at a military base which involved an airman who was charged with five counts of cruelty at Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota. At Schofield Barracks in Hawaii, soldiers are accused of using blow darts to shoot prairie dogs, at Minot, and at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada, mutilated cats have reportedly been seen.
At the time of the incident, Jim Michael Velez Diaz, a 21-year-old member of Airman 1st Class, was the accused. Despite not being a military member, then 19-year-old Katelynn Marie Mercier was also charged. The Ward County Sheriff's Office searched a home on base on May 26, 2021 after receiving reports of animal neglect, according to the Minot Daily News, which first covered the incident. Ryan Ostrum, the deputy deputy for patrol, discovered six other malnourished dogs inside along with two dead dogs. According to a sheriff's department affidavit, the house was "in disarray with garbage, dried animal urine, and animal feces all around the home."
Some of the worse culprits of inhumane treatment to service dogs and animals in general are the Jordanian military and middle eastern culture where dogs are regularly mistreated. Death in some cases is the best alternative to these poor animals in some cases.
Military and K9 Service Dogs have played a vital role in maintaining peace and security, both domestically and internationally. These specially trained dogs are used for a variety of tasks, including detection of bombs and drugs, search and rescue, and tracking.
Statistics show that military and K9 service dogs have saved countless lives in combat and other dangerous situations. In recent years, the use of these dogs has increased dramatically, with many military units now relying on them as a crucial part of their operations. According to the Department of Defense, there are approximately 2,500 military working dogs currently in service, with the majority of these dogs being deployed to the Middle East.
Another important statistic regarding military and K9 service dogs is their ability to quickly locate and rescue people in search and rescue operations. These dogs are often the first responders in natural disasters, and they are able to quickly locate and rescue survivors who may otherwise be trapped. In many cases, these dogs have been able to save lives by locating survivors who were trapped in rubble or other hazardous conditions.
Finally, it is worth noting that military and K9 service dogs are often considered heroes in their own right. These dogs have been awarded numerous medals and honors for their bravery and service, and they are often remembered as true heroes who have made a significant impact in the lives of those they serve.
So why do some servicemen and handlers neglect, beat, torture, and starve these heroes?

Evidence of Life After Death
Have you ever questioned or wondered if there's anything after death? Is there such a thing as life after death, and where do you go?

Liz Entin - With a skeptical eye and a profound passion for understanding the inexplicable, Liz studies psychic mediums, takes classes on ghost hunting, attends a séance, attempts spoon bending and volunteers for an organization that scientifically researches mediums. When this organization holds a weekend conference, she finally gets a behind-the-scenes view into this world, where everything she has been studying culminates in one of the biggest WTF’s Liz has encountered. Inside the UFO World Pt:2
Inside the UFO World Pt:2
Martin Keller has published a truly landmark achievement in UFO literature. This multi-layered memoir of an “experiencer”—who was also an insider of the UFO researcher world — is not only deeply personal but resonantly aimed. Martin Keller spent 10 years embedded in the Close Encounters of the 5th Kind movement, which aims for human-initiated contact and increased governmental disclosure about the phenomenon. The writer’s adventures with the elites of ufology took him to many unusual and “active” high strangeness locations, including his own bedroom. The reader is pulled into the author’s provocative odyssey as he explores the interesting historical and cultural context for UFO/UAP activity, sifting through the ample evidence in search of fresh insights, which are abundant. Endorsed by Dan Aykroyd, this highly readable book was released just as the Big Thaw in UFO disclosures was beginning. A must-read for UFO newcomers and veterans alike!
Advance Reviews
“Martin Keller’s book combines an intriguing personal journey with a careful evaluation of the theories and personalities of the UFO world, striking a perfect balance between skepticism and open-mindedness. His adventures are described honestly and with a flair for detail. The author sifts through the evidence thoughtfully, moving past the clichés and conventional thinking about other-worldly visitors and exploring new scientific theories that involve quantum physics and human consciousness itself. Readers will have their preconceptions shaken, which is a good thing.”
John Thavis, bestselling New York Times author of The Vatican Diaries, and The Vatican Prophecies
“Martin Keller lays out an entirely convincing and gripping account of his own eye-witnessed and continually credible events as an experiencer and his subsequent pursuits for truth and understanding while ultimately surviving travels through the ‘UFO Ghetto. This comprehensive journey into the nature of how the inquiry into these matters can obsess one is packed with deep sound witness testimonies, lots of history, classic sightings, lore and a realistic view of the preachers in the skeptic church. The Space Pen Club is also an essential read for anyone interested in getting to the truth about one of the greatest mysteries and enigmas in our existence. The mechanisms and fuel sources in these crafts could help save our planet and provide basic needs for millions - power, clean water and climate temperance.”
Dan Aykroyd, legendary SNL cast member, Blues Brother, producer and writer with a lifelong interest in all things psi, paranormal and saucerlogical
“I never told anyone what happened at dusk that night as my girlfriend and I cruised between cornfields on a small highway back to Minneapolis from Hutchinson, Minnesota. I did not want to hear disbelief or suffer the humiliation of telling my truth. I never told anyone that is until Martin Keller shared his truth with me one afternoon over lunch and a little Prince gossip. Kudos to Keller for helping me come to grips with a series of events that happened to me so many years ago and for finally sharing his own story in this personal, page-turning epic called The Space Pen Club!”
Owen Husney, author of the memoir Famous People Who’ve Met Me and the man who discovered Prince
“This is not just another book about UFO sightings, but rather a captivating look at how the public disclosure of UFOs has relentlessly unfolded under the pressure of dedicated activists, the ubiquity of cell phone cameras, a growing acceptance of UFO phenomena, an erosion of the government’s grip on information, and an intensity of contact. Anyone interested in this topic will be captivated by this well-researched and lively written account by a true insider.”

Inside the UFO World Pt:1
Inside the UFO World Pt:1

How To Redefine Your Success
How To Redefine Your Success
How does one define success? What if you had it all, then lost everything in a blink of an eye?
My guest, Tim Winders, recounts his triumph and fall from having it all to having to redefine what success is. This could have been easier if he were a single guy, but he was not. He had a wife, and children, which in some estimations (maybe all) put him on a losing track.
I hope you enjoy listening to my conversation with Tim as he talks about some struggles and what and how he had to redefine his inner self to become more successful and free from the normal 9-5 daily grind. He has also written a book called, COACH A Story Of Success Redefined. It is a story based on his life.

How To Deal With Trauma and Anxiety
How To Deal With Trauma and Anxiety
If you've ever experienced trauma, anxiety, or a phobia, then you know what it's like being trapped within yourself.
Today's expert guest has personally dealt with these situations..
About the guest, Mahesh Grossman
He is a clinically certified hypnotherapist on a mission to let the world know how valuable hypnosis is for pain relief—for both physical and emotional pain—as well how it makes a huge difference for many medical conditions. Grossman does this through seeing clients in person, via Skype, and through my blog both here and as a pain management and hypnosis expert for the Huffington Post.
"I got to see the results of hypnosis for pain management first-hand. I mean that literally. As the subject for the pain hypnosis demo during my training, after half an hour the carpal tunnel in my right wrist was gone. It honestly seemed miraculous.
When I started to perform hypnosis on my own, it was my turn to help people get out of pain. I discovered that there’s something incredibly rewarding from watching a man stand up straight after he came into a session hunched over with back pain, or witnessing a woman climb two flights of stairs without stopping, when the previous week, she had needed a rest break every few steps."

Recognizing Depression and Overcoming- Learning To Be with Juanita Campbell Rasmus
Depression is difficult to recognize with it is looking straight at you, into your own eyes.
My conversation in this podcast is with special guest, Juanita Rasmus Campbell who will share her candid moments about recognizing depression and what she did to overcome it. (Depression can be a daily effort to overcome) Listen as she opens up about her discovery and learn how to recognize it in yourself, and how her book Learning To Be- Finding Your Center When the Bottom Falls Out may help you.
In her words:
There are many uncertainties that we are now doubling down on. The changes resulting from a global pandemic—with its long-term and immediate implications and life’s normal challenges—can be a recipe for distress. Changes to our social connections and the mental, emotional, and financial aspects of our well-being can cause us to feel constricted. We can find ourselves in the fight, flight, or freeze responses of the autonomic nervous system. Our task is to stay open to the flow of love, joy, and peace, and how that flow helps us choose gratitude.
I am an inspirational speaker, Spiritual Director, and contemplative with a passion for seeing people transform into being their best selves. I have co-lead the St. John’s Church in Downtown Houston with my husband, Rudy for thirty years and would love to bring my experience to your community. Let me know if you are interested in having me speak, conduct a workshop or facilitate your retreat. I am grateful for every opportunity to share and make a difference. The No Bo-Guide To Addiction Recovery
In this podcast, I had a conversation with Dana Golden and David Marion on addiction and recovery. Addiction as you will hear from Dana and David, can come in all forms from Rice Krispie bars to Heroin, hookers to slot machines as David was. He made tens of millions of dollars and gambled it all away. He lost his only wife to divorce, his two daughters for a time, and his extremely successful brokerage firm to bankruptcy. And eventually, he lost his freedom, too, when he was indicted and sentenced to five years in federal prison for mail fraud and money laundering, all because of his addictions.
Through his experiences, David has become an expert in addiction and recovery and now spends his time as a Recovery Coach, Professional Interventionist, and Public Speaker. He and his former wife, Dana, now brings their expertise to a wider audience with their book, Addiction Rescue; The NO-BS Guide to Recovery. (sample the book here)
Addiction or Substance Use Disorder (SUD) is a disease of the body mind and spirit and Addiction Rescue is the one, all-inclusive book with the how-to's to restore all three areas of life. As the chapters progress, the reader sees how addiction plays out from start, to destruction, to recovery and through David's 5-Action process, walks the reader through attaining and maintaining recovery, covering absolutely everything needed to do so.
This book shows what to look for and what to avoid in getting out of addictive behavior and into recovery. There are rules that addiction and recovery require and they are laid out in list form for an easy to understand, comprehensive guide. There are also essential tools to help one stay on track and keep in check.

The key to understanding the new science of psychoneuroimmunology (PNI) is that the brain, nervous system, and immune system are intimately connected. When we are healthy, our brain-immune connections are in sync and truly function as a single unit.
I invited Dr. Erica Steele in this podcast to learn more about the alternative medicines she uses to help people, with naturopathy, and medicines that are functional in nature. There is a lot to know about naturopathy, and her insight helped me learn a lot in a short period of time.
Dr. Steele, DNM, ND, CFMP, BCND is a Board Certified Naturopathic Doctor as well as a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner and an Integrative Medical Practitioner who works with people with a variety of health concerns. She has a specialty in the identification of imbalances in health, rather than using conventional medicine and conventional diagnoses to come up with ways to remedy them.

How To Start Your 501c 3 Non Profit The Right Way
How To Start Your 501c 3 Non Profit The Right Way
In this podcast I had a conversation with CEO/Founder, Christian LeFer of InstantNonProfit.com
Instant Nonprofit began their journey in 2012 out of the necessities of helping people who want to help others, and make a change. Here's their story...
We started with a simple idea - that paperwork and confusion shouldn’t stop you from making the world a better place.
When we began in 2012, starting a nonprofit organization and getting 501(c)3 Tax-Exempt Status had become too complicated, expensive, and time consuming. Many nonprofit founders were forced to give up before their dream saw the light of day. We have changed that forever!
Like you, we’re taking a stand to make the world a better place - that’s why our mission is to care about YOUR mission! Our technology is simple to use, and we focus on the human touch. We understand what it takes because our team has been right where you are now. So come on - take one small step for a human (you)...one giant leap for humankind!
Instant Nonprofit!
Founder's Story
A decade ago, I volunteered to start a nonprofit with a group of friends. “How hard can it be?” I asked. After submitting the application, I became morally outraged at the brain numbing process, and the 12-months-plus approval timeline.
I called the number of our faraway IRS agent - but after waiting days for a response only to miss the returned call, I decided to dial nearly 50 similar phone extensions (changing the last few numbers) in the IRS Exempt Organizations department, asking dozens of questions to learn how to get a fast approval.
I documented the process I had developed, formulated what we still call “a love letter to a bureaucrat” - the perfect 501(c)3 Application, and immediately produced consistent 30-to-60 day IRS approvals. Requests for help started coming in, and I went from “blogger” to “businessman”.
Today, with an efficient tech-enabled process, 100% IRS approval guarantee, and a staff committed to our credo that “It shouldn’t be hard to do good”, we’re the # 1 most highly rated 501(c)3 service in the niche.

Deep intimacy and sacred sexuality is a part of everyone's life
"The body policing, victim-blaming, and slut-shaming of Patriarchal Sex Culture have left so many women with the sense that sex itself is not FOR them, and that looking good is far more important than feeling good in our own bodies...
...but this isn't the natural state of things. And we can unravel the disempowering narratives of Patriarchal Sex Culture from the inside out, changing society as we pursue our own sexual-spiritual liberation!"

Was Suspending Whoopi Goldberg From The View Justified?
Was Suspending Whoopi Goldberg From The View Justified?
Was the President of ABC News Kim Godwin justified in suspending The View Host Whoopi Goldberg for her comments the other day?
On January 31, 2022, the hosts of The View were talking about how society came to the place it is today. More specifically, the removal or kinda removal of 2 books from some schools in the US. "To Kill A Mockingbird" from a school in WA state, and "Maus" about a Jewish Family's experience with antisemitism and their time at the Auschwitz concentration camp. During the host's conversation, Goldberg said, "If you're going to do this, then let's be truthful about it because the Holocaust isn't about race."
WHAT..? I couldn't believe what I just heard!
Let everyone know in the comments what your thoughts are. Was it justified to immediately suspend Goldberg from the show? Was her social media apology enough?

Kidnapped - My Faith In God Gave Me Comfort And Strength
Lorna Greyling's husband was kidnapped, what was she going to do?
This is the true story of faith and the power and strength faith will give you in time of need.
When twenty-five rebels descended on Nick and violently pushed him into a car, he knew that he might not see the end of that day. With gunshots popping everywhere and people falling over dead, the chances of staying alive were slim.
The threats of the rebels on her cellphone: "Pick a coffin. We're sending him back to you in a coffin," continued to echo through her heartbeat. Nick's messages broke her heart over and over. "Please help me! They are going to shoot me!"

Rock Camp The Movie - An Interview with Entertainment Producer David Fishof
Rock Camp The Movie - An Interview with Entertainment Producer David Fishof
Entertainment Producer, David Fishof is the founder of Rock And Roll Fantasy Camp-
In this podcast episode, we chat about the importance of music in people's lives, how he got his start in the entertainment industry, and his move, Rock And Roll Band Camp The Movie www.rockcampthemovie.com
David Fishof is an open and friendly person and quite the character but don't let that fool you. He is a business person through-and-through as you will hear in our candid conversation.
"Whether he’s producing a tour, assembling an All-Starr band with Ringo Starr, or writing a best-selling book, there’s one thing David Fishof is always doing: dreaming. Hailed as one of the most creative and innovative entertainment producers in the world, David has been responsible for some of the most original, successful, and exciting live shows ever brought to the stage. But of all the shows he’s put on over his 40-plus year career, there’s one production that stands out from all the rest: Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp.
After years of good fortune working with veteran rockers like Roger Daltrey, Ringo Starr, The Monkees, Levon Helm, Joe Walsh, Jack Bruce and Peter Frampton, David decided it was time to share his experiences with rock fans around the world. And so, in 1997, he debuted the rock camp—a place where people from all walks of life can reconnect with their passion for music alongside the most famous names in the business."

Is There Life After Death? Why Are Some People Reincarnated And Others Aren't?
Is There Life After Death? Why Are Some People Reincarnated And Others Aren't?
The afterlife is the future state of existence after physical death. Different religions offer different interpretations of what this is, with some believing in reincarnation, others believing that it's a one-off thing where you then go to heaven or hell for eternity.
It is not an easy for topic for many, which is why it can be difficult to understand. Catholics believe that this is where our souls are purified through punishments before returning to earth in a new body. Other religions believe that this is just an aspect of the cycle of life, which means that there are other stages in between death and reincarnation.
Award-winning author Stephen Hawley Martin will enthrall you with insights about the true nature of reality, the afterlife, and reincarnation.

Bees Will Become Extinct By 2035
Bees Will Become Extinct By 2035
Since 2007, bee populations have been declining at a rate of about 2% each year. In the United States alone, commercial beekeepers have lost more than 1.2 million beehives since 2015. Now, only 36% of the population of honeybees remain, and experts estimate that bees will become extinct by 2035 if we don't change our habits.
The decline in bee populations is an alarming issue that is quickly becoming global. Scientists are unanimous in their warnings about the cascading ecological impacts, but the public at large remains largely unaware or apathetic.
If you care about biodiversity, food security, climate change, agriculture, or anything with the prefix "eco" then you should really care about bees.
But if not enough people do something soon, we could lose bees for good; and along with them, an essential part of our own humanity.

Mental Health And Murder In Rural America- A Growing Problem
Mental Health And Murder In Rural America- A Growing Problem
The subject of mental illness and murder is one that has been in the news a lot lately. It's a very touchy subject but one that needs to be talked about. It's vital that families recognize the signs of mental illness in their loved ones and get them the help they need. Those who suffer from mental illness are more likely to commit suicide than murder so the best thing a family can do is get them help. Unfortunately, not everyone gets the help they need and this can lead to murder.
Betty Frizzell is a former police chief and SWAT member is also an author.
In her book, If You Can't Quit Cryin' You Can't Come Here No More: A Family's Legacy of Poverty, Crime and Mental Illness in Rural America, Frizzell recounts her memories and talks about the growing problem of mental illness in America, and the lack of accessible help that is available.
On May 12, 2013, A woman with learning disabilities, brain damage and a 22-caliber pistol loaded with drugs shot her cruel drug-addicted husband while he was sleeping in a trailer they shared with their adult son. According to police records, the woman called 911 and confessed to the crime.
You can find Betty Frizzell's book here.

A Conversation With Former Lead Guitarist for Geoff Tate's Operation Mind Crime
A Conversation With Former Lead Guitarist for Geoff Tate's Operation Mind Crime
In S2 Ep40, I had a casual conversation with former lead guitarist for Geoff Tate's (Queensryche) Operation Mind Crime band.
Scott retired from the Operation Mind Crime band in December 2020, after being off from touring for nearly a year due to the covid-19 pandemic. Not only has the pandemic taken many lives, but it has altered the lives of many people, and especially those in live theatrics and performance.
During the covid-19 hiatus Scott married his longtime girlfriend and settled into a normal routine which he quickly found to be a peaceful and well deserved break. But, he hasn't left music behind. He shares with me what he's been doing locally as well as his love for producing. So, if you're in need of an engineer/producer, Scott says you can find him on Facebook.
cheers!

Home Alone; You Can't Blame Him For The Bad Behavior
Home Alone; You Can't Blame Him For The Bad Behavior
In S2 episode 39 I talk about the canine, man's bestfriend, the dog.
Poor pooch. So many people went out and bought, adopted, maybe even stole a dog just to keep themselves company, and now that he or she has gone back to working 9-5 (again).. well, you get it.
Pet adoption definitely surged during the pandemic, but what happens to all those pets when everyone goes back to work? Unfortunately, many of them will either end up in shelters again, having only been teased at the life of freedom for a short while.
In this podcast we take a look at the top 10 breeds (according to website Furbo) who hate being home alone. Now it's not to say that you have a different breed and it too has anxieties while you're away, or maybe you have a breed on this list and your dog does just fine alone.
regardless of your dog breed, being left alone and unattended to for long periods of time (which can be as little as a couple hours) is not fun for our furry pals.

FOR STAR TREK VOYAGER and SyFy FANS
FOR STAR TREK VOYAGER and SyFy FANS
This podcast is accompanied by a video HERE to be release on the afternoon of March 25, 2021
I was beyond ecstatic to have the privilege of speaking with actor Tim Russ from the TV series Star Trek Voyager. Russ played a major role in the series, staring in all 168 episodes which aired from January 1995 to May 2001.
Created by Rick Berman, Michael Piller, and Jeri Taylor, this science fiction TV series was the 5th in the series of the Star Trek franchise which was based off of the original Star Trek series from the 1960’s, created by Gene Rodenberry.
Russ has appeared in over 170 acting rolls since 1985 and continues to act, produce, direct, and play music. He’s got a great voice and plays his guitar like a pro. Who knows, once we are beyond the pandemic and all of its restrictions, you might find him playing in Australia or a local joint around the corner from your house.
You can find Tim Russ at: TimRussWebpage.com, on IMDB, or just google his name.
I hope you enjoy listening to my conversation with Tim. He provided me with some insight and new ways of looking at things.

Is Space Travel Impossible?
Is Space Travel Impossible?
What an incredible time we are living in right now. Space voyage is getting closer to becoming a reality for the general public (for those who can afford it) and soon we'll be sharing space travel photos. Granted it may only be from a high atmosphere altitude or maybe someday soon a low orbit. But, I think it'll still be decades before there's an actual space station inhabited by non-astronauts in space or on a planet surface. None the less, it is exciting.
Toward the end of the podcast we begin talking a little about moral and ethical dilemmas to bringing foreign life forms to Mars.
We're no expert when it comes to terraforming, jet propulsion, or space travel, but we do have our imaginations.
As always, thanks for listening and we hope you enjoyed our journey into space.
Please give us a generous rating of 5-stars on your listening platform and leave a comment. It helps more than you may realize, and will help this podcast grow.

Learn About Different Dog Breeds ep1
Learn About Different Dog Breeds ep1
I will be doing an ongoing series on dogs. All kinds of them. Afador’s, Airedale’s, English springer spaniel’s, all they down the alphabet to Dorkie's and Yorki’s. Yup, that's right, there's a breed called a Dorkie. I haven’t heard of any breed starting with the letter Z, but who knows. By the time I get to the end of this series there just may be one.
Keep in mind that I am not a doctor or veterinarian, nor do I work in the pet industry nor am I associated with any animal organizations. Other than I do foster dogs on occasion. I just love dogs and have had dogs for almost my entire life.
Oh, if you are looking to adopt a dog or pet, please support and adopt from reputable organizations and do your best not to shop online at any of those.. well, you know where I'm going with this. It's just that there are so many great pet adoption organization's with awesome pets. There are even specific breed adoption centers too. Also, consider an adult and even a senior dog when looking they need your love. In fact the dogs and cats will be so grateful and they'll bring you a lot of joy and love.

My Family Was Taken From Me
My Family Was Taken From Me
This story came to me as I was driving home from seeing my mom one late afternoon-ish.
I just started thinking about family, siblings, and the loss of a family member. Maybe it's because of this pandemic we're going through or maybe I just had nothing better to think about. In any case, I hope you enjoy this.
On a separate note, I'm thinking about adding to my podcast and including short stories. Stories that I write, submitted to me, or even publish works that are in the open domain to be read and used for entertainment and education. What do you think, should I go for it?
Also, I'll be launching a website of my podcasts soon so stay tuned for that.
Thank you all for your continued support.

Those Damn Kids, They Want It All For Nothing!
Those Damn Kids, They Want It All For Nothing!
In this episode, my co-host, Al Land and I talk about kids and entitlement. Are they really deserving? What happened to the fight for glory? Why does every child need to be a winner? Have we weakened our children?
Our discussion is a hot topic for a lot of people, but what do you think? Do you feel safe having an uneducated person working on your car or furnace? Do you dare take a flight in 20 years?
If you feel compelled to call in with your comments, we welcome that.

Is It Worth Buying An EV Electric Car Now?
In Season 2, Episode 29, I opened up the hotline for a discussion with random callers.
I had the pleasure of talking with 3 individuals from different locations and backgrounds throughout the USA. Our topic of discussion was fossil fuel vs. other forms of fuel. Clean fuel.
Does the government have the right to mandate a change in how we fuel our vehicles? What next, are they going to limit my choices on what type of vehicle I can purchase by the size of my family or income?
Have a listen, and tell me what you think.

My Tesla Model 3 Got Hit!
Season 2 Ep28
The conversation is around energy, clean fuel, EV (electric vehicles), and the Tesla Model 3.
Co-host Al owns an AWD, dual-motor Tesla 3 so we thought it'd be fun to have a conversation about owning such a car.
Are they good, was it worth buying, and why did or would you buy one in the first place?
The Model 3 went into production around July of 2017 but has been a concept car in testing and design since around 2010.

Wonder Woman WW84 What's All The Negative Fuss?
Wonder Woman WW84 What's All The Negative Fuss?
No spoilers in this podcast. It's not a review, but more of a why all the WW84 bashing? Were you really that surprised that it wasn't as good as you thought it was going to be? Ok, in all honesty, it wasn't as good as I'd hoped it to be either, but it wasn't as bad as what people are making it out to be.
Please take a few minutes to listen to what I have to say about the movie, and why I think so many people are bashing the movie. It's bad enough that blockbuster movies will be losing big money and movie theaters will be going out of business. Let's look at the movie for what it is, entertainment.

I Don't Think Women Should Play In Men's Pro Sports pt. 2
I Don't Think Women Should Play In Men's Pro Sports pt. 2
In part 2, this episode, we continue with the discussion of women playing in an established professional men's sports league. Is it a good idea or not? Will it change how the game is played?
There is absolutely nothing wrong with professional sports for women. But, if too many top female athletes transition to a men's league will it, or would it hurt the professional women's leagues? What about fair pay for women not equal (at least not in America and perhaps elsewhere around the world. This is a whole topic in itself.)

I Don't Think Women Should Play In Men's Pro Sports
Should women be allowed... scratch that. Should women play against men in professional sports?
In this episode, we discuss the pros and cons of women playing on a professional men's sports franchise, such as the NFL, NBA, ASL, etc. Would it change how the sport is played? What would happen if the best of the best in women's sports were to migrate to a men's pro league, would women sport suffer?
Do we just call it CO-ED?

Children's Book Author Loreley Smith
Children's Book Author Loreley Smith
In episode 23 I have a conversation with children's book author Loreley Smith.
The book, The Girl Who Lived In A Shoe and other Torn Up Tales is a collection of 5 short stories from five different women. Smith based her story on the Rip Van Winkle tale, "Mine is called Rita Van Winkle which is a spin on Rip Van Winkle."
The five authors worked on their stories as a collaborative effort (helped each other) when they needed it, but did not help one another write their stories.
You can find the book, The Girl Who Lived In A Shoe and other Torn Up Tales on Amazon, and other bookstores and outlets. The book compilation is listed under the author, Bernice Seward, who completed the collection.
Smith does ask that you support your local book store and make your purchases through them.

Enuff Z'Nuff Exclusive With Chip Z'Nuff
Enuff Z'Nuff Exclusive With Chip Z'Nuff
My very special guest this week is Chip Z'Nuff of the band, Enuff Z'Nuff!
Chip was gracious enough to take time out of his busy schedule to catch us up on what he's been doing during the lockdown. Believe me when I say this, he's busy as usual.
From 1989 thru 1991 the band had a string of hit songs and toured the world like rock-stars, and living the dream. But, it didn't come without heartache, hard work, and tears. Those days have past, but Chip and the band with the current lineup of great musicians continue touring and playing crowds of all sizes but that doesn't stop Enuff Z'Nuff from putting on a stellar performance. If you get a chance, please checkout his radio program on dashradio.com on the Monsters of Rock station. (I'm a fan of that station now)
Chip also shares his personal and somewhat private side of past and present so you won't want to miss that.

Lead Guitar - Tory Stoffregen
Guitar - Alex Kane (Original Enuff Z'Nuff guitarist)

Vicious Kitty Band; Still Towing the Line of Rock-n-Roll
Vicious Kitty Band; Still Towing the Line of Rock-n-Roll
Don't believe it. The 80's Glam Punk Rock is still living large in Buckley, WA and the proof is in the kitty litter. Just dig around a little and you'll find a nugget of a gem and they're called, Vicious Kitty!
I love these guys. They are hard working, and serious about what they're doing.
You'll have a good laugh, and a great time with Anthony on bass, Matt on guitars and lead vocals, and the one and only Jimmy St. Bitchin on drums. if you can imagine what it'd be like to scramble the 3 Stooges, 3 Amigos, The 3 Musketeers, and the 3 blind mice, you might think it's a recipe for disaster but in this case it's not.
Using every resource they have, Vicious Kitty has found a following, albeit somewhat underground, but nonetheless they are succeeding at what they love, and that's making good music that many fans find refreshing, recycled and fun. Add to the formula of good tunes and a surprisingly professional looking video that's super entertaining, what you end up with is great entertainment.
Here are some important dates:
"We are going to do a simultaneous world release of innocent girl video and the live stream show on stageit.com Sept 20th"
You need to take a look at their website, it's fantastic! Vicious Kitty
Update:
The world premier video for Innocent Girl is still set for 9/20
The live show is now going to be on 9/27

My Life Growing Up Black In America
My Life Growing Up Black In America
What was life growing up black in America in the 1940's to the 1960's. Years have passed, and not much has changed. Some of course for the better, but other things have taken a possible step backwards.
This is a brief life story of my father. A black man growing up in West Virginia, and his life from approximately 1931 to 1949.
He recounts his first memories of murder, death, segregation, racism, and the military. Through it all until his death in 2016, he rarely if ever complained about his life growing up. He loved his mother, father, sister, and little brother.
What he experienced in his early years growing up are still the same injustices, stereotypes, and prejudices that are being experienced today, by people of color and minorities in general. That also goes for the whites who march in support of minority groups.
It's time to make a change for the betterment of all.

When Will the Wrong Be Right?
When Will the Wrong Be Right?
This podcast was taped on the evening of 5.29.20
Minorities, and especially men of color are still being wrongfully categorized by a bias society.
My friend, and guest, Sean Aust and I discuss the events happening now in Minneapolis and around the US. First we wonder how something like this continues to happen to people, and especially men of color. However, what is just as bad (in the opinion of the host) is what/how people are reacting with violence and looting.
Listen to our discussion and give us your thoughts. Are the behaviors of the people causing damage justified because they are mad?

UNIVERSAL vs AMC, who's gonna win?
Episode 1 is all about the feud which started in late April between entertainment giants, Universal and AMC. One makes moves and the other shows them. You'd think it would be a perfect marriage because one couldn't live without the other. Or so we thought..
With the coronavirus having government shut down public crowds and entertainment, there was nothing for people to do but eat, drink, and watch movies at home. And that, is where the trouble began.
Listen as two movie fans discuss who's right, what's fair, and what changes can, should, and might happen with going out to the movies starts up again.
