My Creative Journey Part 1
In this fun episode, I am interviewed by my friend Grace Adeneye. We take a light-hearted approach to exploring the inspiration and discuss practical tools to help creatives on their journey. Although originally recorded last summer, the content remains relevant as we discuss the role of the word of God and margin in staying inspired.

Caring for our Souls
In this episode, I am joined by my special guest Chris Heise. We discussed balancing the need for purposeful living with Soul Care and often spoke of the concept of a rule of life as a basis for achieving soul care. Chris has spent over 25 years serving in pastoral ministry and is currently the Executive Pastor of Spiritual Formation at Compass Point Bible Church in Burlington, ON. He is passionate about helping people learn to welcome and respond to Jesus increasingly. He lives in Dundas, ON, with his wife Holly and their four children.

Child of the Lion Song Story
I got together with my friend and writing buddy Lara Neumann to discuss the song story for Child of the Lion, released last year. Lara is a prolific songwriter and worship leader, speech pathologist, married, and mother of three lovely boys. She loves to collaborate with songwriters worldwide and has written over 100 songs. Lara loves God and people.
In this episode, we discuss some of the most poignant lyrics in the song, our motivation for penning those words, the challenges of co-writing, and more. Listen and join the conversation.

Receiving Feedback 2
We conclude our conversation on receiving feedback in this episode and discuss the need for multiple sources when evaluating feedback. Grace Adeneye and I discuss the role a mentor or coach could play in helping you process feedback on your work.

Receiving Feedback 1
I got together with my friend Grace Adeneye to talk about something which impacts us all once we decide to step out of our comfort zones -feedback. We discuss receiving it and using feedback to perfect and improve your craft.

Running Away - The Update
In this episode, Grace Adeneye and I continue our conversation about how impacted we were by the Jonah story. We share what we did with those "aha" moments we had two years ago and how we both have actively started pursuing our calling to write and sing. We share on what happens next after saying yes and the need for knowledge and support while pursuing your passion or calling.

Running Away
Hello! And you’re welcome to the One Degree Podcast. My dear friend, Grace Adeneye, is my co-host today. We recorded this episode more than two years ago when we initially thought about creating a podcast.
Grace is a mom of two amazing kids, and she has another underway. She is an author and librarian. It is such an honor to have Grace on the show today. In this episode, we’ll be sharing about how we were both inspired by the story of Jonah, and that got us on our journey of being the artists and authors that we are today, two years later.
Please let us know how this episode resonates with you.
Listen and enjoy.
