Tarak is a modern metaphysician who studies and teaches applied metaphysics. Now he mentors others on dreams and how to incorporate metaphysical principles into their everyday lives. Healing Trauma Through The Body
There is a connection between our Body and Trauma, because trauma is something that is actually stored in the limbic part of our brain. The part that is responsible for our reactions and responses. Some of our habitual responses are a form of trauma response, whether from a big trauma event or from small micro traumas and stresses. Working on Yourself: Too Busy or Distracted?
I hear it all the time...
"I wish XYZ was different!"
"I wish I could change my thinking!"
"I am so tired on my boss...my boyfriend...my girlfriend...my kids!"
"I don't want to adult anymore!"
But when given the opportunity to change or dive into the work to have what it is you want...
"I'll do it tomorrow!"
"I'm too busy!"
"When everything calms down, then I will deal with this/change/meditate/journal/take care of me..."
"I have to help [Insert family, friends, anyone but you] first, then I will take care of me."
And nothing ever changes! Well, the buck stops here. Let call out those ways we are actually "Distracting" ourselves from our own transformation. Awareness is the first step my friends!

Affirmations: What are they and how can we use them?
This weeks episode is all about Affirmations! I recently did a Facebook Live on this topic on my Page, Codie Lea. So I wanted to share it with you!
We spend so much of our lives using the two most powerful works "I AM", but we often do not realize the impact of what follows those two words and how the shape who we are. Affirmations are something we use Every. Single. Day. And often, completely unconsciously, getting un-enjoyable outcomes, realities we don't want, and more of the same suffering and pain on repeat.
When you get clear though, on what you are telling yourself over and over, what "I AM'S" you are affirming, you get to ask yourself, "Is that what I really want to believe? Create? And experience?"
When we use affirmations consciously, we get to create a reality that fits what we really want to experience. We get to expand our truth, live our truth, and ultimately live with more joy. When is Enough, Enough?
In this episode we do have an honest conversation about that mean Gremlin, "Not-Enough". Many of us experience feelings of not doing enough, not being pretty enough, not being smart enough, not having enough credentials, etc. But when is enough truly enough?
We then explore inner value since often, value an worth are key components to feeling enough.
I then give some great ways to know when enough is enough in the moment to help you face the gremlin and redirect your self.
