When I started recording in 2018 I had no idea where the journey would take me.
- I wrote a book
- I hosted 2 live events
- Started the show
- Launched a membership and coaching program
- Created 9 mini-workshops
- And traveled the world...
And on this episode - I reveal what's next for me and the agency business.
Thanks for joining me on the journey. I'm grateful for you.

2.20 - Be a Food Truck (Not a Cheesecake Factory)
Cheesecake Factory is delicious - no doubt. But they have the most comically enormous menu in the galaxy.
Want Asian, Mexican, American, Italian food??? They got you covered.
Instead, be a food truck. Here are 3 reasons why.

Think again.
Today we talk about what they ACTUALLY will pay (handsomely) for.

2.16 - What Gets Measured Gets Managed
A few years ago I entered into amateur fitness competitions. Weird, I know.
But we measured everything - food, steps, calories, macros, sleep, reps, weights...
The whole thing.
And the transformation was dramatic.
Now, in business I've cracked down on what exactly I'm measuring and it's already paying off.

2.15 - You Don't Need Millions of Followers - Just 1,000 True Fans
In Kevin Kelly's excellent 2008 blog post he clarifies that you don't need millions of followers to succeed. Just 1000 people.
https://kk.org/thetechnium/1000-true-fans/
Here's an excerpt from the introduction:
To be a successful creator you don’t need millions. You don’t need millions of dollars or millions of customers, millions of clients or millions of fans. To make a living as a craftsperson, photographer, musician, designer, author, animator, app maker, entrepreneur, or inventor you need only thousands of true fans.
A true fan is defined as a fan that will buy anything you produce. These diehard fans will drive 200 miles to see you sing; they will buy the hardback and paperback and audible versions of your book; they will purchase your next figurine sight unseen; they will pay for the “best-of” DVD version of your free youtube channel; they will come to your chef’s table once a month. If you have roughly a thousand of true fans like this (also known as super fans), you can make a living — if you are content to make a living but not a fortune.
So get busy creating 1000 true fans.... one fan at at time.

2.14 - I'm Streaking
I've got a streak going.
Today, February 21st, marks the 52nd day in a row I've done 100 push ups.
Day 1 (Jan 1st) it took 10 rounds to get to 100. A grueling 30 minutes spent groaning and grumbling to myself.
I was so sore the next day I could barely lift my arms.
My form was horrible, too, as my 15 yr old son pointed out.
Day 2 took just as long as Day 1. I worked through the soreness but my form was terrible.
Same for days 3 through 10.
But as the days and weeks went by the soreness stopped, the form improved, and I now knock out 100 pushups in 3-4 rounds over 6 minutes.
But what I'm most proud of is not the pushups...
It's the daily discipline of doing something I don't want to do.
Something I know I'm not very good at. Something that can be embarrassing or make my body hurt.
And while my physique looks pretty much the same as it did 50 days ago, my mind has sharpened with a daily discipline.
So here's food for thought for the weekend:
What can you do daily that will strengthen your mind or body?
Could be a couple pages of a book. Going for a walk after dinner. Not checking your phone till 10am each day. An act of kindness for a stranger.
Here's the really cool part: When you can conquer your fear, concern or discomfort over this daily ritual, the rest of the day kinda falls into place.
Since beginning my daily pushup routine I also picked up a few other great habits (cold showers, flossing, drinking 1 gal of water, sending a daily email).
And I've never been more productive in business or well-rested than these last 52 days.
All because of a decision to lower my body down to the living room carpet by my dog's bed and slowly rise back to plank position. 100 times. Every night around 8pm.

2.13 - How to Fix a Leaky Sales Funnel
Don't throw that leaky funnel out! Fix it, instead.
My Free Plus Shipping funnel (www.CodysLaunchMaps.com) had a rocky start.
The orders were fine, the order bump was great, but the one-time-offer stunk...
So instead of throwing it out and making a new offer - here's what I did instead.

2.12 - A Robot Put Me in Facebook Jail
Ever gotten in trouble by a robot?
Last week I was put in FB Jail by a mistake with the algorithm.
Don't be like me... make sure your business is safeguarded from the whims of our tech overlords (and faulty algorithms).

2.8 - Don't Trust Booksmart Experts
I was pumped when a human being from Facebook reached out to talk to me about my ads strategy.
Gotta admit I felt a little pride and excitement.
But that turned sour when they proceeded to give me the worst ever ads advice of my life.
Today we explore why you can't trust so-called Experts and are better off getting experience instead.
Enjoy.
