Nikil Nandagopal

Nikil Nandagopal

Throughout his career, Nikhil Nandagopal has always looked for a better way to do things: he’s built out a logistics operation for the largest e-commerce company in India (a direct competitor to Amazon), helped build up a travel company with over 5 million users, and even worked to scale a food delivery service from 50 meal deliveries a day to over 50,000. Now, his focus is on internal tools. From developer to product manager to entrepreneur (twice!), Nikhil's experience lends itself to both sides of the internal tool development conversation. Engineers need helpful internal software, but hate actually sitting down and making it for themselves. And businesses must use tools if they want to scale properly. Nikhil wanted to find a way to turn the arduous work of app-making into a streamlined process that would only cost engineers hours instead of months. So he teamed up with Arpit Mohan and Abhishek Nayak to create Appsmith, a program built to put easily customizable tools directly into developers’ hands. What started as a small open-source project has become a program that is used daily by over 10,000 teams, employs people in eight different countries, and has raised over $50 Million in capital. With a project built by engineers, for engineers, Nikhil is helping companies work better and dream bigger. Clark Sell

Clark Sell

Clark is a community builder, living somewhere along the IL/WI border. He is married to his best friend, amazing wife, business partner, and they share the joys of raising two kids.

He is a historically trained software developer, architect, product manager, and has managed to fool companies such as Allstate, Microsoft, Telerik to let this crazy passionate, entrepreneurial, see no boundaries of a person work for them. He and his wife have founded two companies THAT Conference and Unspecified.

He fell backward into software development because computers help people scale. It's his love for people, his love for helping one another, that's led him to a life of building products that build communities. It's his mission to create software that connects people in a more profound and meaningful way.

Today, THAT Conference is one of the largest Family Friendly Technology Conferences. During the pandemic, they created a SAAS platform to connect geeks across the globe. Unspecified is their boutique software development company. They take their extensive enterprise application skills and help small businesses build software to better their business.

Regardless of titles, he will always call himself a practitioner.

Morgan Bell

Morgan Bell

Morgan is a Developer Relations Program Manager at Microsoft focusing on Student Advocacy.

Here is more about Morgan in her own words

I feel in love with STEM in 5th grade during my 3 hour tenure commanding the starship Voyager. From there my passion for science, exploration, experimentation, gamification, STEM education, space, and computers grew and grew. It started with me saving my babysitting money to buy Star Trek Voyager and then Battlestar Galactica and later turned into me saving my food/retail job money to buy a Raspberry Pi and my first Dell Inspiron laptop. Truth is, I never intended to work in tech, much less at Microsoft. I never thought I was smart enough or technical enough. Truth is, a lot of days I still feel that way. But the other truth is, I love what I do. I’m a proud geek. And that is that.

Noelle Silver

Noelle has been speaking professionally for 20+ years now and have given over 800 keynote presentations to audiences as large as 10,000.

As an experienced speaker, Noelle and her team want to provide two key things for your next event…

A great experience on stage — Noelle has presented to audiences both large and small in a variety of different settings and contexts. As a presenter, Noelle will use stories, empathy and humor to not only make a point but to keep your audience engaged and listening. They will leave with practical, actionable next steps to take with them beyond that session.

A great experience off stage —We know as a conference planner, there are a lot of details you have to manage and juggle. The speaker should be the last of your concerns. We’ve worked with hundreds of event planners and are regularly told we make their lives easier and how grateful they are for our experience with the process.
