Final Episode
Welcome to the Coffee News Podcast.. final episode… I’m Debbie Jackson and I have been honored to be your host for 156 episodes of our audio version of Coffee News. I’ll tell you how all of this got started, but first, just to let you know a little about me, I have been a Coffee News publisher in Kansas City, Missouri, in the United States since 2011. Coffee News is a print publication that features fun and interesting stories from around the world, inspirational quotes, trivia, horoscopes, fun facts and silly jokes. We have Coffee News franchises in many countries and you could be your own boss as a Coffee News publisher. For more info on the Coffee News opportunity and learn how you can be your own boss, go to www.coffeenews.com.
The Coffee News Podcast started in March of 2020, as a response to the pandemic that shut down restaurants and stopped us from delivering Coffee News. It was supposed to be for two weeks, but I didn’t want to wait that long to get our fun, awesome content out to our loyal readers. And honestly, I needed to do something, some kind of positive action to deal with all the fear and uncertainty of those early days in the pandemic. So I started reading Coffee News to you every week. And as it turned out, the weeks became months and the Coffee News Podcast was an special way to reach out to our readers and support our publishers.
It's been exciting to see where all of our listeners are coming from… mostly the US and Canada, but also we have listeners in Germany, South Africa, Australia, Russia, Vietnam, and the United Kingdom. I appreciate each and every one of you!
Change is inevitable, and changes are coming to me now as well. After nearly 12 years as a Coffee News publisher, I have sold my business and I’m excited to see Coffee News continue beyond me in my market. It’s also been a great business to sustain me over the years and a profitable enterprise. I highly encourage anyone seeking a fun, affordable business opportunity to check out Coffee News at www.coffeenews.com. I want to thank Coffee News President, Bill Buckley, and everyone at Coffee News headquarters for their support over the years. They have been fantastic to work with! And I owe a debt of gratitude in remembrance of the founder of Coffee News, Jean Daum. She was inspired back in 1988 to bring joy and “good news” to people and poured her heart into her little newspaper. Despite overwhelming odds and setbacks, Jean never gave up and her work ended up blessing people all around the world. I never had the chance to meet Jean, but I know she lives on in Coffee News, the little paper with a big heart.
As for me, I have new opportunities on the horizon and I’ll be stopping the Coffee News Podcast, but our episodes and content are timeless and will be here so feel free to listen anytime you need a smile!
