Here are a few thoughts...

• They are not well-known to the general public. Many people are unaware of the existence of manned underwater habitats, or they have only a vague understanding of what they are and what they are used for.
• They are not often featured in the media. Manned underwater habitats are rarely covered in the news or in popular culture. This lack of media coverage contributes to their lack of public awareness.
• They are not as exciting or glamorous as other space exploration projects. Manned underwater habitats are often seen as less exciting or glamorous than other space exploration projects, such as missions to the Moon or Mars. This may be because underwater habitats are not as visually appealing as rockets and spaceships.
