Is it time to get your teen moving? After all it is still winter break and there is no PE to assist in these endeavors.

Teens need to get out and move, even when they whine and complain about doing something active. I constantly have to prod and get creative with how I get my teens active. Sometimes I have them meet me at the end of a run, sometimes I invite their friends to go for a hike which pressures my own kids to go. Either way, exercise is important for health but also for the sanity of our youthful children.

Another aspect to consider is that demonstrating this active lifestyle is important as well. It starts with you first. Lead the way and your teen will follow.
