Not only was I unable to communicate with anyone I knew, I also got a glimpse into what it's like to disappear in the middle of a crowd.
Tune In to This Week's Episode As I Share:
- Why your digital detox may be highly overrated,
- Attempt to answer the age-old question: Can man/woman live without communication?

Getting to The Core of The Great Resignation, How The Department of Labor Bites the Hand That Feeds It, And What Employers Can Do To Help Stem the Tide
Where Are All The Workers?
The economy is opening back up and employers are trying desperately to get back to business as usual. Despite a rise in new jobs, employers say they're continuing to have a hard time finding workers.
The job index reports that a record 531,000 jobs were added in the month of October, yet millions of Americans are still looking for work. At the same time, from August until now, more than 4.3 million workers have left their jobs.
There are multiple factors affecting the potential workforce, ranging from:
- A lack of resources such as child care, low wages, or an inability to afford to commute
- Health Concerns
- A deep desire for something new and more fulfilling work.
t's been called The Great Resignation, but what's at the core of it?
And what's next for those workers who are not only turning their back on the workforce, but employees deciding to rejoin the workforce?
In this episode, we'll look at some of the factors that both that are helping both employers and employees decide on the best way to go back to a new way of working, I'll update you on my brouhaha with the Colorado Department of Labor, and how employers are recognizing the true definition of self fulfillment and personal satisfaction in work.
Stay tuned.

Speeding Up the Process: Denver Residents and Renters Across the US Wonder If They'll Receive Assistance Before Eviction Notices As City Struggles to Disperse Funds Quickly
We all know that renting has always come with its own headaches, but this past year has caused many more problems than usual for many homeowners in Denver, and other cities across the country.
Evictions are increasing at an alarming rate because of the recent economic slump. There are already dozens of families around the country who still haven't received a portion of the Federal aid allotted to keep them in their homes, due to difficulty in disbursing funds that seems to be holding back most states.
This happens after hundreds have already been evicted from their homes before they could even apply for aid at all!
In this episode I'm exploring Denver's growth, Hatch Chiles, tent cities, and what Denver's doing to move the needle. Tune In!

This Week's Episode:
One of the main reasons people burn out or quit their jobs is because they feel like they are not showing up as their best self at work. This happens when you feel like you're not growing anymore, you're not learning, you're not doing anything new, you're not challenged.
With the number of hours we spend at work, it's inevitable that we encounter stressors. It's also inevitable that we make mistakes at work, because even the most seasoned professional is still human.

We're also talking about

- increasing your skillsets
- dealing with workplace bullies and Karen's

Nick Cannon Wants His Brand Back, August In The Sheets, And Watering Atlanta's Food Deserts w Guest Keith Muhammad of The Best Fruit Store
Can you imagine having fresh fruits and vegetables delivered to your door during the recent shut-ins?
Unfortunately, there are neighborhoods and communities all across the country that can't, and haven't been able to, long before the nations current crisis. According to the USDA, more than 6% of American households have experienced some form of food insecurity over the last 18 months.
Over recent months I've complained about food shortages at my local store, a major inconvenience, in which my grocery worked hard to quickly rectify. Supply chains were disrupted and things were in flux.
In this week's episode, my guest Keith Muhummad, of Atlanta's The Best Fruit Store, and I dive deep on the policies past and present, and the practical, real world solutions he's implementing in his own community, to water the food desert he found himself and neighbors surrounded by.
I also give an update on last weeks episode; Meg wants Torey Lanes to Stop Playin', August Alsina is Entangled in the sheets, and Nick Cannon wants his brand back.
I've got all that, and more, on this week's episode.
So grab your cuppa joe (or whatever the week is calling for), settle in, and make sure the ear buds are charged up.

The Freedom Edition: Back Inside, 4th of July Melting Pots, and How Much Freedom Is Too Much In A Relationship?
Melting Pots, Back Inside, and Will and Jada Get Real.
Fresh off my birthday week, I've been doing a lot of reflecting on just how far we've come, and how much further we may have to go, to create real diversity - whether it's in our day to day interactions, at work or with strangers, how we think about ourselves and others even in our personal and familial relationships, how we talk to our children about race, diversion, and inclusion - in a world of completely unique people.
My favorite couple, Will and Jada, are back in the news and bring up the very real question of; What does commitment in a relationship actually look like, and how easy is it to forgive after a partner's indescretion?
I'm giving some insight from my own previous relationships, good and bad, and you might be surprised at some of my answers to those questions.
Tune into this week's episode as I enjoy some leftover cake, sip some tea on the state of freedom in relationships, and mull over the concepts of acceptance, freedom and, honesty in relationships. .
So grab your cuppa joe (or whatever the day calls for), settle in, and enjoy the show.
