Chrissy Holm is a Leadership and Mental Performance Consultant for Premier Sports Psychology in Minnesota. They work with various athletic teams including the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Minnesota Twins. Jackie Carson has been the head women's basketball coach at Furman University for over a decade. Among her accolades, she is the only person, both male and female to win both Player of the Year and Coach of the Year in league history. In this episode, Shailen and Jackie get into topics untouched so far this season. The overall theme of this episode is the importance of being yourself and how Jackie went through that process. Shailen sits down with the head coach for Georgia Women's Basketball, Joni Taylor. Joni is the 2021 SEC Women's Basketball Coach of the Year and one of four finalists for National Coach of the Year. She is on the board of directors for the WBCA and is passionate about the world of women's basketball outside of the game. Kyleigh had a college career that was nothing short of impressive. JUCO product Kyleigh helped lead KCC to an NJCAA D2 National Title while being an All-American selection. Continuing her success at Purdue Northwest, she capped off her career as the 2018 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Softball Player of the Year. She was also an NCAA Division II National Fastpitch Coaches Association Third Team All-America selection. But, throughout her career, leadership has always been her most significant asset.
