Admiral Fowler joined the Walt Disney company in the early 1950s, and was primarily responsible for the construction of Disneyland, then carried forward his work to be the overall project manager for Disney world. General Potter joined the Disney company after the NY Worlds Fair, and was the construction manager for Disney world. He wound up creating many of the innovations that came to be in the central Florida area. Both became friends with Walt, and without them, Disney world probably would never have been built.
