Racing World returns for another week. First up we talk Motorsport and Rally and the ERC then Indycar news and driver movements that are now all underway before this weekend's event at Gateway and the final oval of the season. The main focus however in this weeks show its the Motorsport NZ Elite Academy and David is joined by two of the Class of 2023 Dion Pitt and Zeal Jones to talk about academy life, motorsport and rally and how it is for a young racer these days. Just what great things so many young talents are doing in the sport. It's all in Racing World for another week.

Kiwis owned a big hunk of Indy this past weekend, Hunter McElrea kicked it off followed by Scott Dixon and SVG just continued to raise heads both at IRP in the NASCAR truck and then the NASCAR Cup Car at IMS. Plus Marcus Armstrong and Scott McLaughlin were in the mix as well.We chat with many of them along with Graham Rahal and Kyle Larson on his run for the Indy 500 in 2024 and look at the media and its approach over the past few days on all things NZ and Motorsport. The latest edition of Racing World and we take a look at the Nashville NTT INDYCAR event and the INDY NXT event, featuring all the kiwi drivers at the sharp end of the field. Hear from Power, McLaughlin, Kirkwood and McElrea I this weeks show. Plus we talk Las Vegas F1 GP again and look at the paving project and more. Racing World is back once again.

The show finally returns again in 2023 and in this show its all about Marcus Armstrong the leading rookie in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES for 2023 as the series moves to the downtown streets of Nashville this weekend.

Racing World is back and ready to go once again this week.  

Big news with two kiwis conducting IndyCar tests as we made the show so there's always the chance of even more kiwis in IndyCar in 2023. Just think if the field had 4 kiwis in it in 2023.  

Then Speedway and our super special guest Taylor Reimer who will be seen at Western Springs Speedway this summer in the International midget series and she is top class talent from the US. It will be great to see her and many other internationals return to the springs in both Midgets and Sprintcars. Nothing like a summers night at the springs. 

 Theres plenty to watch listen and enjoy once again this week on Racing World.

Racing World once again has plenty of Motorsport news this week. 

First up we look at the driver market and everything from USF2000 and kiwi Jacob Douglas to F1 and IndyCar there is still plenty going on.  

The latest in the Colton Herta saga and his no go to F1 and the effects of that. 

The NTT IndyCar calendar for 23  F1 Vegas and there sprint races in 2023 and news there as well as other Motorsport news including Nick Cassidy and Louis Sharp.  

A short show this week but plenty there on Racing World.

The Grand final of the 2022 NTT IndyCar Series did not disappoint nor did the IndyLights Series both fitting races and championships all season long.  

In this show we chat with all the main players, (Power, Newgarden) and talk with Scott McLaughlin and Scott Dixon on the weekend and re the end of an era at New Zealand's Pukekohe Park Raceway.  

We hear from the new series champ Will Power as he talks with David on why IndyCar is the best overall open wheel series around.  

Rookie of the Year Hunter McElrea chats on the show as well.  

We review the week in the sport even more driver line up changes for 2022 in F1 and IndyCar, the issue of the super licence ,big wins for kiwis overseas in DTM and WEC and the Speedway season is getting closer in New Zealand and there is a host of great names coming to Aucklands Western Springs for the summer ahead.

We look back at Portland and the IndyCar event and the clean sweep by kiwi McLaughlin and talk with Scott McLaughlin, Will Power and Scott Dixon.  Then look ahead to the  IndyCar Grand Final this weekend at Laguna Seca and we catch up with Marcus Ericsson who is still in with a shot on the title plus here from two great Mike Hull from Chip Ganassi Racing and Tim Cindric from Team Penske.  

Plus its the final ever SuperCar event at Pukekohe as we start the wind down of this iconic track.

With two events left and seven drivers it says a lot for IndyCar and what it brings to finding a true champion every year.  

Then it was all Max and Red Bull at Spa F1 and  the latest on that and a quick review. Plus a look ahead to all things local and the three big things in NZ, the South Island Endurance series kicks off this weekend, WRC is weeks away as is the final SuperCars event ever at Puke.

The countdown to the next NTT IndyCar event this weekend at the fast and flowing Road America.

 Today we had the chance to speak with 6 time champ Scott Dixon and 2019 Indy 500 winner Simon Pagenaud as they get ready for this next stop of the series.

The second day at Belle Isle in Detroit and another days racing in the NTT IndyCar series. It's now officially half way in the season.  

This one was quite different to race 1 but yet again it had some moments and what a final ten laps thanks to a late yellow. 

In this Racing World show we review the race and chat with all three podium place getters and enjoy some light hearted moments at the press conference  as well. 

Plus catch ups from Rahal, Power, Ericsson, McLaughlin and Grosjean.  It's onwards now for the series but Belle Isle has now delivered the first two time race winner in 2021.
