In this episode I sit down with my dear friend bill. He is a retired Coroner and RCMP officer. He was my neighbour for 3 years. Its been a privilege to get to know him and hear stories from his life’s work, and now you can be too!

Back with another solo ramble. My New podcast episode labeled “witchsickness” can be found in my DB4D highlights or on Spotify. Integrating the sex death and transformation of Scorpio season during my 8th year profection year in astrology (more Scorpio themes). Externally showing up as my usual work in progress to offer my humanness and confusion during some grief. I chat about my going home, family dynamics, the death of my music teacher, forgiveness and reclaiming abandoned parts of myself. There will likely be a second part to this.

In this episode I sit down with Stephen to talk about my tumultuous relationship with alcohol and Stephen’s much different relationship with it. We also speak a bit of how it shows up differently in our cultural backgrounds. We of course relate it to astrology. When you drink you activate the subconscious, so you look to your moon sign. Mine is in Aries. Aries is the god of war. Wherever it shows up there is a battle. And I’ve undoubtedly had a battle with the self. Poor Stephen has been on the receiving end of that battle to self love. One I win a little more everyday but have not yet conquered. Sexual trauma gets brought up as a trigger warning.

Unpacking accountability with my former partner! What do we do when we ask for accountability and do not receive it? How do you appropriately play the role of the victim without over identifying? When we go grasping for forgiveness from people who hurt us we only get hurt more. We keep in an energetic bond that allows the person that hurt us to keep hurting us. It gives our power away. All forgiveness must come from the self. Don’t get me wrong though, accountably helps this process.
I say this, and I’ve said things similar things - because this is logic but I still show up in my humanness and go energetically chasing this. But each time I find myself in these lessons I can let go quicker finding myself back in my truth. There will be a second part to this podcast ✌️

I met Ilene Heart in the INELDA end of life doula program that we took together in 2018. She has worked in the field of psychotherapy for several decades. I am honoured and privileged that she has chosen to share some of her experiences and wisdom that has come from that work.
