In 2009, Calvin Bryant was convicted of selling drugs and sentenced to 17 years in Tennessee state prison. He was a first-time offender, and he could have served less than three years; instead, he got 17.
Calvin served 10 years and he dreamt one day post-release that he would be able to impact the lives of others. Less than two years after his release, his mentoring work through his P.I.C.K Foundation (Positive Inner-City Kids) has caught the attention of Foster and many others.
