Guest Joseph Varghese Ep. 50
In today’s episode, we are talking with Joseph Varghese, the Growth and Play Strategist.
Join us for an enlightening conversation on shifting from a victim mindset to a cause-driven life. Joseph shares his inspiring journey of overcoming adversity, embracing feedback, and the profound transformation that comes from choosing to be a cause in your own life. Joseph has personally cured himself of a degenerative heart condition that his mother had a heart transplant for.
Career wise, I was doing very well but what was missing was a sense of fulfillment. I felt that my unique skills weren’t being used to their fullest and that my passions weren’t unleashed. I also realized that I was a neurodivergent extrovert.
My journey into social networking began in 2001 after September 11th where I realized the value of connection seeing how community-aware people could become after a tragedy. I had gone from building capital in my finances to building social capital with my relationships. I became a man on a mission with a hunger to make a difference in the world.
Since 2003, I’ve immersed myself in all aspects of Internet Marketing and lead generation, after founding an event planning company called Metrofly with the purpose of creating unique “fun-raisers” for various charities in New York as well as connecting people together for philanthropic causes.

**Trigger Warning– this episode may have some triggering moments related to mental health, eating disorders, and others that some may find triggering that we didn’t. Please be aware of this and make sure to seek help if you ever are struggling. It’s never too soon or too late to reach out. Find a mental health office in your area to begin the conversation**
In today’s episode, we are talking with Christa Greenland, founder of The Minted Green Company. Explore the power of sharing your story, embracing forgiveness, and navigating the challenges of life, faith, and business in this thought-provoking episode.
Hey! I’m Christa and like you, I have a business that I run online. I don’t have just one business but two. Plus 2 young kids. Life at many times can feel overwhelming but social media doesn’t have to.
Like many people, I have also struggled with keeping up with all the things when it comes to social media. What to post, when to post, how often to post. Honestly, it becomes very overwhelming, very fast. That is when I decided to break down all the steps of what I truly need to do to be able to impact my community.
What I realized is that many people overcomplicate social media and I want to show you that it doesn’t need to cause you the stress and overwhelm that you have been experiencing.
I have taken the time to go through those free courses and I have spent hours reading blogs and watching YouTube videos so that I could create step-by-step tools for you, to give you the confidence to move forward with your social media for your business.

Hey! My name is Lealyn. Currently based in Wellington, New Zealand. I am a wife to my lovely husband, who’s been very supportive, and a new mum to our daughter!
I had vast experience in Recruitment and Organizational HR. Oops! I’m talking about so many technical terms here…! Since I finished my Bachelor’s, I was exposed to different areas of Human Resources, but those close to my heart were becoming an HR Business Partner and Recruitment. Over time, I realized that I, as a person, am result-oriented and highly find satisfaction when I see direct output/results. So.. I started anew! My freelancing and virtual assistant journey began when I had a friend who introduced me to SEO. I remember upon hearing it, I was in denial. In denial as I was intimidated by what I did not know. 3 years now being a freelancer and a virtual assistant.
I have experience in SEO, Digital Presence Management, and Podcast Management. I remember the days when I learned the skills I now have but had no prior experience. I started somewhere, but I honored what I did not know and compared it to what I knew.

Guest Lilian Sue (Ep. 40)
Today I'm talking with Lilian Sue. Lilian is in the storytelling and relationship building business. A PR coach and publicist, she believes in empowering the creative entrepreneurs she works with to push past their limiting beliefs and mindset blocks to build healthy coping mechanisms for a strong mindset. She teaches them how to learn to build and launch PR campaigns that achieve their goals and help their stories gain worldwide recognition.
As an entrepreneur, she’s had to push back against cultural traditions and strict family roles to live the life that she wanted, learn how to prioritize mental health (including letting go of what doesn’t serve her and her desire for control), and develop her own set of mindset mantras, to continue to pay it forward and make a positive impact with as many people as possible. She’s returned to her first love of writing, continuing her love of storytelling, working on a nonfiction PR book and her first adult contemporary romance.

Guest McKenzie Doheny (Ep.35)
Mackenzie is an Executive Assistant (EA) with over 20 years of experience working with C-Suite executives, presidents, and founders in the non-profit, private and public spaces. In addition, she has over 10 years of experience hiring, training, and managing administrative assistants – both to work on her team and to support other executives.
In 2016, Mackenzie founded a virtual assistant firm that provides professional and personal assistance to owners and CEO’s that works to ensure the same level of integrity, dedication, and care given in a face-to-face environment is also given while working remotely. She has a passion for showing both leaders and assistants that the relationship between the two is more than just a transactional, day-to-day experience but can be a true partnership. Executive Assistants should be a partner in managing the executive office and truly be an extension of the person they support.
Mentoring and training Executive Assistants in best practices has been part of her repertoire for many years, and in 2020 she developed a formal, 8-week coaching program for EA’s to learn the core values of the EA role, develop their personal brand and elevate their role to that of a strategic partner to their leader.
When she is not hard at work, Mackenzie can be found hiking, running, camping, swimming in the ocean or having dance parties with her two sons. One of her dreams is to someday travel to every continent.

Guest Tammy Rotzoll (Ep.34)
On todays episode I am talking with Tammy Rotzoll creator of Footprints of Inspiration and Grow Your Faith Community on Facebook.
Our topic is "You should never want your story to look like anyone elses"
I just love that she's relatable, her success, her achievements. Just like anyone's are your own. And, uh, and one of the messages I really want people to hear today is your story, your journey, your process, where you get to where you're going, how long it takes or how quick it happens. Your journey is specific to you and you should never want your story to look like anybody else's, but other people's stories and journeys should inspire you to keep working on your own business and moving forward.
Tammy is the founder and owner of Footprints of Inspiration, podcast host at a Faithful God Podcast, author of Finding Peace in the Mess Devotional, as well as multiple Bible studies. Tammy loves empowering women to live a peace-filled, purpose-filled life, even in the hard, messy times. She lives in Virginia with her husband and two boys, and in her downtime, you can find her hanging at the beach, soaking in the ocean breezes.

Guest Sparkle Christine (Ep.32)
Sparkle Christine is a business and faith coach and spiritual advisor. Sparkle utilizes biblical principles throughout her coaching. She works with first-time business owners to show up on purpose in purpose for themselves and for their business regardless of where their current revenue is. She also works with first-time business owners, if they are still in the transitional point between still working with a company and becoming that full-time entrepreneur, and she helps them create an exit strategy to do so.
Sparkle and I had an incredible conversation that included faith and business, how to bring your faith into your business when others tell you not to, having a support system, and the harsh reality of the behind-the-scenes that no one else sees.
Grab a hot drink, settle in, and let's chat.
Snippet from the episode:
Clients will make you wanna quit. systems will make you wanna quit. The process will make you want to quit. so what was I created to do? I'm not happy if I'm not doing what I was created to do. And it's almost like as believers, you know, we say, okay, we're gonna pick up our cross and carry a daily and that looks different for each and every one of us.

How do you get things done? (Ep.31)
In today's episode, we are discussing if we'd functioned better linearly or non-linearly as multi-passionate people, we tend to see ourselves as multitaskers and we can potentially believe that multitasking is the same as being non-linear. So today we're going to discover how we function when to delegate, and if the anxiety and stress we feel about some of these processes is because it's just natural.
