Designing an app to create DAOs sio.eth

Sio has been working in web3 for a while now. He's been a Lead Designer at Aragon for the past few years and they recently launched the new https://app.aragon.org that allows you to create your own on-chain DAO on the Aragon stack. And it works on your mobile phone as well! We discussed the process that lead to this new version of the Aragon app and how designers can work in web3 more effectively.

Design Left Behind Layoffs in Web3 Paulo Fonseca

Pricing your work is critical in freelancing, managing expenses, and avoiding debt. Be conservative in your expenses, be flexible with your rates, be transparent in your work, and demo your work. Hardware prices have plummeted, causing a massive layoff in the tech industry. Jobs are becoming harder to find, and the market is becoming more competitive. Network to build relationships and opportunities, not for jobs. Make friends in the design community. Web Three is attracting a lot of displaced employees, most of whom will eventually find a new job in the space. Many things go into whether a collaboration between you and a client works. It would help if you learned this as soon as possible to have a successful relationship.

Prompts and Reflections Ray Kanani

We all know that asking the right questions at the right time can be transformational. We’ve seen it happen dozens of times in our work, and hopefully, we’ve also done it ourselves as Designers. Prompts can be a gentler way of questioning people, behaviors, and routines that, once **they are** uttered, can yank us from the status quo mindset and seed in us a new way and a new perspective of looking at the challenges we face.
