62. I am NOT a perfectionist! (Oh the delusions!)
Have you ever been told that you need to slow down and do less? Do you find yourself focussing on doing things exceptionally well and sometimes spending so much time on things? 50. Don’t hate me. I am a GIFT.
When there are parts of us that we do not love and accept, then that exact exchange of energy shows up in so many detrimental ways in our lives. We can be overweight, unwell, unhealthy, low in energy, have imbalances and many more issues. 48. Living in resignation gets you nowhere
What is living in resignation?
As most of us, I spent many years living out my childhood programming and all the expectations of society, as most of us do… And …I was achieving and always looking for more in my life and I started out as a nurse and then I became a nurse practitioner because I wanted to be able to do more for patients and I wanted to move up in the world and make more money at the same time as part of my achievement plan. It doesn’t take long to hit the ceiling when you’re doing a union job, and also to realize that you’re stuck in a little box Having to follow their rules and their stupid ideas about how to manage patients when you know that the decisions they make have a negative impact on your patients. This is true for many of us in Western medicine including nurse practitioners and nurses and family doctors and even pharmacists. We then get caught up in our stories and our beliefs and our thoughts about the way life is supposed to be or what is expected of us. And we don’t realize that we have a way out. We don’t realize that anything is possible because we’re stuck in the beliefs of resignation and that we are stuck in this job because of money or some other bullshit about security which is not even true. We then continue to live our lives and try our best to be happy and meanwhile are irritable and feel like we can’t be the friend or the family member or the parent that we want to be because we’re drained from our work. Living in possibility is absolute magic and is the way to achieve anything that you want in your life no matter where you work or what you do.
I have decided to initiate a program for people that work in western medicine to learn how to shift your thinking so that you can move from resignation to possibility and absolutely transform your life very quickly. 47. Being “stuck” is an illusion
If there’s one question I get asked more than any other it is “how do I get unstuck”? And the answer is that being stuck is an illusion, which is a shocker to hear for some people😀. I remember the days where I perceived being stuck and I hired numerous therapists and coaches and various other services which didn’t help and once I became familiar with transformational coaching which transforms down to the level of the identity, so it actually works, was the beginning of true transformation for me! Once I added Hypnosis and hypnotherapy to this, and realized that this combination was like rocket fuel and transformation can happen much faster using this tool, then I became a transformational Hypnotherapist which is incredible for my clients! 😀 (and for me!). Our subconscious mind is powerful and tries to keep us in the comfort zone and it is not our fault because after all those years of programming in childhood ages 0 to 7, we can’t help but have the software that continues to run in a loop! The wonderful thing is that the brain is neuroplastic which allows for us to create new neural pathways using Hipnosis allowing for change in thoughts and even in our beliefs which totally transforms our ability to move forward in life

46. Reprogram your mind to know no limits!
A topic came up for me that I feel deeply passionate about and that is the ability to feel like there are no limits in life. The things that stop us are purely what we’ve been taught and our programming here in the matrix which is the 3-D world. As humans, we live in the 3-D world, but we do not have to be out of this world and it is all choice. We can choose to be our genuine true self and we can choose not to believe our programming because… What if it’s all a lie? It’s a very interesting concept to ponder, because many of us live our life based on our programming and we have perceived values and limitations and ethics and who we think we are based on what others have taught us to think we are. It is quite A topic that can be somewhat controversial, but… Deep down we all know it’s true. Every construct including time has been man-made and programmed into all of us and then we live by it thinking it’s just part of us when it really isn’t. I speak about the concept of the black sheep and the families and how perhaps it’s not a bad thing because we are then just living out authentic self unapologetically. 44. Is it possible to have inner peace? (ie get off the struggle bus!)
In this episode I talk about reaching the state of inner peace and well-being. We all have our own definition of what that is, however i used to think that well-being meant that I was fit and energetic. Meanwhile, outside of my fitness, I was tough, fiercely independent, easily angered, and irritable and also having a lot of worry and anxiety. Does that sound like inner peace to you? Does that sound like well-being? I don’t think so… If I can make a change after having the kind of childhood I had with trauma and abuse and neglect and 30+ years of overworking and overdoing and overachieving to try to prove I was worth something then anyone can do it!!! and… Spending many years alone not willing to accept help because I had a hard shell and I wasn’t willing to receive because “ I can do it by myself and I’m quite capable thank you…”. This is not a pleasant way to live when you really take a 30,000 foot view of it… What are ways that we can make a change? I realized that I developed awareness because I was doing the work to open up and I was finding it very difficult to be “gentle” and to be things like “sensual”… I pushed people away because it was easier than being self-aware and having to set boundaries… Because… People don’t like boundaries!! and you can hear more about boundaries by listening to episode number 11 where I talk about that boundaries are about you and not about the other person. The beginning point of self-awareness we can achieve starts by practising periods life where we are silent without our phones and without paper and without music and without other people around… Just our self… And our thoughts… Just starting with silence can give you awareness of what inside of you is causing some of the issues… And if you do need help, you may want to consider transformational hypnotherapy as this technique is very effective to peel back the layers and to create faster change. I am an advocate to help people get off the struggle bus and to get away from those emotional addictions that have a negative impact on our lives and that was why I made this podcast because I want to help people transform their life from the inside out!! 43. Is it even possible to be resourceful?
The topic of resourcefulness is so interesting to me as it is essential to have in order to live your best life. If we live in resignation, then we are being bound by weakness and limitation such as hoping, wishing, praying, and trying, which are words that have no power… If we are going to live as a limitless being and live in possibility knowing that there’s no problems and that there is only solutions, it dramatically changes your life because then you’re making decisions from your true self versus from circumstances or people or things outside of yourself. I learned my lessons too!! …and in this episode I’ll give you some of the tools that I used to allow myself to shift my thinking into living in possibility and learning how to catch myself to shift my thinking. 42. What is my “best life” after burning the past?

Hi however, I have burnt down my past life and so, even though I’m in Mexico, it’s not like being on a week or two holiday where are you can just have extreme fun and experiences and then go back to your usual routine, because I have no routine to go back to.
This opened up my eyes and allowed me to see just how much past history influences our decisions and influences the way we treat ourselves and our perceptions of who and what we should be
Again, asking the question about what my best life looks like, it’s something that’s open ended and something that I will be processing over the next while because I don’t even really know what that answer is

41. What is “success” to you?
It kind of blew me away this morning when my mentor was talking about the definition of success. In the past, success was all about achievements and material things. I evolved that to success meaning freedom… However, I had my eyes opened even further this morning when it came down to what success truly is. I see it now as having true peace and well-being as what success truly is. Being peaceful and feeling great 24 hours a day and not being triggered, or having negative emotions. 40. I am back and living into possibility!
After a short pause to reflect on my life and to make some serious changes, I am back and truly living into possibility. I have peeled back so many layers down to my authentic self, and have discovered my inner power, my inner confidence, and the ability to live my life as myself and not according to the expectations of others. Remembering of course, that all of what I believed was an illusion. It is a interpretation and a creation in my own mind as to what others expectations are. Imagine living an entire lifetime according to what you think people expect of you when you don’t even really know and those expectations may not even be there?!?
Moving forward in my life, burning down my current life and moving to Mexico is what I’ve been up to and I speak about it in this episode.

39. Hmm, do I lack confidence? Yes!
Oh boy, so many years I went through struggle and thinking that I was a confident person and not even noticing that I had neglected so many other areas of my life that when things started to open up for me then I really discovered that there was multiple areas in my life that I did not feel capable in. When we over focus on things that we are an expert in, we often neglect other areas of our life then leading to sometimes irruption‘s, or hidden blocks of not being able to achieve things and not realizing why. It can be so sneaky and a person may not even be aware that it’s going on and that was me… I had no insight into myself whatsoever!‘s. I spoke a lot more about my personal story on the last podcast, but I do emphasize a lot of that again today and I also go through the eight different areas of life that it is important to pay attention to for each of us because each area can become depleted if we don’t give it the attention it deserves. !!Thank you so much for listening, and I will see you on the next episode

38. My vulnerable confidence story
Our childhood experiences can shape our energetics and subconscious mind development in disempowering ways and can lead us to live out those stories and beliefs about our self perpetually throughout our life and we are blind to what is deep in the subconscious mind. I lived a life of this for over 40 years and essentially it was like being addicted to struggle and not even being aware of it. I was overworking, workaholic, and needing external validation to prove that I was worth something. This resulted in success because I had so many multiple degrees and worked very hard to advocate for people to show that I was worth something. External validation does nothing for our worthiness and our self-love and our sense of feeling capable in the world. After spending 30 years and multiple thousands trying to feel better, I finally discovered transformational coaching and Hipnosis, which was the magic that finally transformed my life. I am so ecstatic and happy and passionate that I have discovered this for myself so that now I can offer this kind of service to other people. This is my mission and this is what I meant for and I can feel it deep to my core. 37. Are you run by your Emotions?
Oh boy, I remember the days where I was totally run by my emotions. I was impatient and angry and always in a rush and people were constantly triggering me. I was living by convenience and making choices and decisions based on emotions which was not healthy. I had fears of abandonment and I was reacting and kicking people out of my life and I really had been living and run by my emotions and taking things personally and it was really no way to live. Once I got some transformational coaching and started to realize how the emotions from my past were running my life from the backseat then I realized how it all came down to managing my thoughts and interpretations. By using a transformational coach I was able to explore my thoughts and interpretations and my eyes were truly opened as to where all of this shit was coming from. 36. Why I became a Hypnotist
I was inspired to record this originally on a video because I was getting so many strange comments about what a hypnotist really was and I realize that there was a lot of confusion about it. I became a hypnotist because I realize that going through hypnosis was a dramatic transformation for me and I was able to peel back the subconscious programming to discover more and more of what my true self is composed of. Limitations and having limiting beliefs about yourself and doubting yourself and not trusting yourself and not loving yourself all results from subconscious programming from our past. This can be reprogrammed using Hipnosis and puts transformation on steroids! 35. Discipline = self-worth meter
Discipline was such a harsh and negative word for me for so many years. Yes I did exercise and do things, but the energy behind it was very negative, pressured, and felt hard (ooh the struggle!). Once I was able to shift my discovery of the root cause of my struggles, my life changed dramatically. Self love, self worth and self value and deservingness for care was it!! I learned how to reframe this word into devotion which felt softer and less punishing for me. I was also able to live into a new identity and learn new perceptions and meanings of things. This led to feeling positively accomplished and boosted my motivation big time and transformed my life. 34. Don’t Overfeed your Machine
Oh boy, I remember back to those days where I had such an unhealthy relationship with food and I even had bulimic tendencies in my early adulthood. I was able to get over those tendencies, but I still had a very unhealthy love-hate relationship with food. I over thought it and I over complicated it and I spent way too much time worried about it and working on it and thinking about it. It just took away from my life on so many levels and once I discovered ways to simplify it and understand food in a different way, my life transformed. I was able to change my thinking and my beliefs about food and also find a simple way to manage my nutrition so that I had the best energy and also the best health. This is what I talk about in my recent for life program because I feel it’s important for me to share my experience because I am certain that I’m not the only one that had these challenges. It was so empowering to learn about the true purpose of food and how to incorporate into my life in a positive and healthy way. 33. Stress makes us fat
Nobody wants to hear about being fat… But the fact is that stress causes our body to be fearful about allowing the release of fat and quite often will promote more fat to be deposited on the body. So it’s worth looking into reducing stress, because this will help to achieve the goals that you’re looking for with regards to your health and fitness. If I think back to my years of overthinking and over analyzing and living in procrastination and constantly being triggered and overwhelmed, I was not able to slow down and to allow the space for health to be part of my life. The habits of thought that I had were an absolute killer and it was deadly for me to not have the insight into myself. Being able to learn time management and ways to stop fear and procrastination and to learn to slow down were absolutely magical ways that allowed me to reduce my stress and be more likely to achieve my health and fitness goals without struggle and without it being difficult. The beauty of the reset for life program is that it teaches us to have a better concept of time, and use simple tools to make life changes. More important is to commit to different habits of thought. The habits of thought are a critical concept and must change in order to promote relaxation and have less cortisol raging in our system. 32. You control your metabolism
If you’re anything like me, you used to think that metabolism is just all about how quick your calories got burned so that you could eat more food Without gaining weight. I used to be stuck in that way of thinking with restricting calories and trying to hard with fad diets and simply just being miserable and sluggish and having low energy. What I didn’t know back then is that if you focus on the different things it changes your thoughts and our thoughts are so powerful. When you focus on the body being efficient and powerful and energetic and focus on your body‘s natural burning potential by fuelling it in the correct way, then you naturally have higher energy which gives a domino effect and naturally burns more calories. On the other hand, if you focus on being too fat and worry about your metabolism being too low and constantly be saying things like everything is too hard and exercise is too hard and nothing works for me blah blah blah, then you’re not likely to get too far with having an efficient powerful and energetic body. This is the reason why I created a section of the reset for life program that talks about the importance of your thoughts and how those translate to your beliefs and then how that translates to your emotions and your actions or your behaviors. (And yes, this affects metabolism as well as every single other area of your life!). The concept of thought is critical in order to move the needle in terms of achieving your goals and not having it be hard and not having to struggle. 31. You can reprogram your mind
Who knew there was hidden beliefs, thoughts and crap buried deep into the SC mind. And the SC mind (95%!) control emotions, cause us to feel bad, control our habits and can be the blind spots for why we feel “stuck” or “blocked”. I had no idea that my analytical and logical mind was really only using 5% of my potential… Keep in mind this area of the brain is important, but when we use this part of the brain predominantly then we can get stuck in a lot of our ego! When it comes to the ego issues then This is where feeling bad and being scared of judgement and different fears and emotions get expressed day to day. The trouble is, the control of all these feelings comes from the deeper aspect of our mind in the subconscious. And if we don’t know the source of these bad emotions and don’t discover the way to fix them, then they can actually affect our lives in a negative way for our entire life and for many decades like it did for me. Things were hard for me, I was in struggle and self deprecation and was so upset with myself over having fat rolls and unhealthy relationships and buy getting coaching and Hypnosis I was able to become self-aware and completely reprogram my thoughts which gave me an opportunity to transform very quickly. 30. Portion control is not important
I remember those days where I believed that the only way to lose weight was to do some kind of special diet like Atkins which was almost carbohydrate-free or other diets that restrict certain food groups. I was so far off back then. I remember the first round of P90X I did where I ate all healthy food throughout the entire challenge and I completed the full 90 days of workouts but in the end I lost no weight. I was so disappointed and so I researched and found portion control systems that are easy to follow and tested it out on my second round of P90X. Boy was I shocked after my second round when I had dropped 35 pounds of fat in 90 days and it was absolute wow and amazingness! I was so blown away that I became obsessed with portion control and researched multiple ways to do this and then I created my own easy system to follow that does not have any fads does not eliminate food groups and does not involve any kind of starving and which is really nice lol 😆 Over the next little while I will be talking more about my discoveries that helped make my health journey easy and simple in the long term. This includes mindset hacks that I’ve learned! I’m very excited to share my reset for life system with you once It opens!
