Digital Nightmares

In this episode we are discussing Dan's suggestion from last week: Frog Detective 2: The Case of the Invisible Wizard. We talk about opinions about animals in games, wholesomeness as an evolving genre in the medium and who really destroyed the town parade.

This week we have three new spooky games for Jasmine. Which game will she choose? Who will take home the point for April?

This time we discuss Max's winning game from last week, Withering Rooms, a 2.5D take on classic survival horror with a victorian atmosphere and a strong influence from Rule of Rose and Alice. Afterward, we round up the points as Jasmine decides which game will receive the bonus point. Then with the help of special guests, find out who is taking home the top award for our Pumpkin carving and drawing competition.

Three new nightmares are in this week's podcast on the eve of our favorite month of the year, October! Which will win; an empty GoldenEye server, a strange therapy session, or a journey across a desolated coal mining island? At the end, we'll tally up the points, and Max, as the victim for this week, will decide which killer will take home this week's point. Last week Erik enchanted us all with his bizarre-sounding suggestion of a horror game that integrates with your cell phone, this time, we are checking it out. We will be spoiling the whole game, so try it out before listening if you are at all interested in a playthrough.
