This week’s movement principle is: Look for Open Doors. God is the One who opens doors no man can shut and closes doors that no one can open. This week consider the sovereignty of God as you go out to plant churches. Ask God to open doors of opportunity to share the gospel and ask Him to close doors that are the wrong ones. There are many ways Christians face open and closed doors, some doors are closed because of warfare from the opposition and some are closed because God is leading you in a different direction. Through prayer, you can ask God to help you discern the open doors from the closed doors. Followers of Christ are often brought before kings and rulers as another way God may open the door. Remember Paul going to Rome before Pilate and Festus? Ask the Lord to lead disciple-makers to households who open their homes and their larger communities to the gospel.

WEEK 25: DAY 1 - PRAY FOR SIGNS AND WONDERS
This week’s movement principle is: Pray For Signs and Wonders. In Acts 14:3, we read: “So Paul and Barnabas spent considerable time there, speaking boldly for the Lord, who confirmed the message of his grace by enabling them to perform signs and wonders.” And in Mark 16: 20, we read: “The disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.” Wherever the disciples went proclaiming His Word, God confirmed the gospel message of the kingdom with with miracles of healing, demons cast out, the blind seeing, the deaf hearing, the dead raised, etc. In Luke 10:9, Jesus commanded them to “heal the sick.” All of these signs and wonders Jesus described as ‘destroying the works of the devil’. So as you go out to plant churches in your neighborhood or around the globe, ask God to confirm the Word of God you are sharing with powerful signs and wonders. Ask that, as disciple makers pray for those in need in the name of Jesus, God would answer with miracles, signs and wonders, and cause hearts to open to receive the Good News. Ask God to open your eyes and heart to new levels of faith in Him that will open the way for the Holy Spirit to work among the people you meet.

This week’s Church Planting Movement principle is: Sow the Gospel Abundantly. In 2 Corinthians 9:6, it says: “Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.” As we go out to plant churches among the nations of the world, we are called to sow generously and as we have been given freely the gospel ourselves, so we freely give it to those to whom we are sent. Ask God to give you new insight into how to sow generously in every area where you are sent and in every way you can. Ask God for new strategies to give of all He has given you to those you meet along the roads of your life. Pray that all disciples abundantly share the Good News in their homes, workplaces, and communities. Ask the Lord of the harvest to raise up disciples who willingly go into new areas to bring the gospel.

This week’s Church Planting Movement principle is: Find People Of Peace. No matter where you are or where God sends you to work you will always find people of peace. People of peace open their natural relationship network to the Gospel and become a bridge for the Gospel into their community and their families. People of peace can also be people who are placed in your path to love and support you along your journey and in service to the Lord. People’s hearts are prepared by the Holy Spirit--they become leaders of others who begin to follow and obey. Ask the Holy Spirit to prepare the hearts of those who do not yet believe. Pray for God to direct disciple-makers to those He is drawing to Himself. Ask God to show you the people of peace in your life and in your path as you go out.
