Remy Mertz' Ridley Noah Fast Disc 2020 (S.1 Ep.5)
The Belgian professional road racer is racing for the team Lotto-Soudal on both Ridley Noah Fast Disc and Ridley Helium XLS Disc during the 2020 World Tour season.
In this episode I present the bike size and set up of his Size 51cm (XS) Ridley Noah Fast Disc. Remy is 175cm tall which is the recommended size limit from Ridley for this frame. There is a general trend among professional riders to ride lowest frame size as possible but I also suspect it is strategically important to have few riders racing on same frame size as the team leader of the day to ensure an easy bike swap should anything happen during a race.
Micka Demonchaux is the creator of DMCX Bicycles from DMCX.COM and has 20 years experience of bicycle design. As a bicycle need he shares his thoughts and observation about professional racers and races like the Tour de France, the Giro d'Italia and the Vuelta Espana. This show is for bicycle nerds.
