My Amazing Ability Dogs!
Repost from 2019, Episode #56, Season 1. This time I shared about five of my dogs (one is still with me - King our American Bully). I call them my amazing ABILITY rather than agility dogs, because they have been instrumental in helping me grow beyond what I'd have done without them. They abilitized me - I know there is no such word but there ARE such dogs! I hope this encourages you - something we can all use nowadays.
I've been missing in action as I am in the process of creating another school in animal naturopathy.

Farewell to Shadrach the Neo Mastiff
Repost from 2018, Season 1, Episode #19. This episode is near and dear to my heart as it is all about the day we lost our special Neapolitan Mastiff Shadrach who was so instrumental in this work in natural animal health. In fact, without him I'm not sure I would have done this. What a special boy and is forever missed until we are reunited in eternity. I also share in this episode how hospice is also possible for our animals and ought to be so.

Your Healthy Dog, Pt.5
This is Episode #54, Repost from 2019, Season 1. This is a 5-part series from a Lunch 'n' Learn I did back in 2014 to a crowd that was definitely interested in learning how to care for their dogs proactively, naturally according to their species needs - evergreen material. So join me as I added to this and broke it down a bit more for a 5-part series into natural dog health and wellness. This is Part 5, the Conclusion. Photo featuring my two beauties, King (American Bully), Schatzie (Carolina Dog - deceased January 10, 2019).

The Ox and the Lamb Kept Time
Sharing this episode from my former podcast, Animal Talk Naturally. Recorded December 21, 2016 - six years ago to the day which is why I posted this on Wednesday rather than Thursday! Of course this was hosted with my former colleague, friend and business partner, Dr. Jeannie Thomason. Even though she never said much, her presence made things so much better. We used to joke and call her the silent podcaster. Many people thought it was because I never shut up lol, but it was because she truly was nervous and not much of a talker anyway. However, when she did say something it was always profound and thought provoking! I sure do miss her.
I hope you enjoy this episode - it was fun editing it again. This is so in line with the new course I have coming out and going forward with a new school soon as well. Stay tuned as I'll be sharing here soon.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Your Healthy Dog, Pt. 4
This is Episode #53, Repost from 2019, Season 1. This is Part 4.

In 27 years there have been 3 million deaths from taking prescription drugs as prescribed. There have been zero deaths from homeopathic medicine and zero deaths from vitamins.” ~Dr. Makkar
“Important to see how the use of antibiotics in veterinary medicine is responsible for arthritic and neuropathy symptoms, pain. I have horrific papers on Cipro damage to patients. This is another example like with that of Rimadyl of drug companies flooding the animal health market with drugs that have been found unsuccessful for human use.“~Dr. Patricia Jordan
“Pathogens and micro-organisms are part of life. They are the original life forms and they fulfill a very complex function. All forms of cellular life on earth share genetic links. Humans are genetically linked to so-called pathogens, or micro-organisms. We actually consist of bacteria, fungi, viruses, parasites and other micro-organisms and they form part of our system. Plants and animals are also made up of these. Béchamp discovered that if he stopped fighting micro-organisms and instead improved what he called the ‘milieu’, the environment of the cells, the so-called ‘pathogens’ did not disappear but actually aided in repairing the cells. By not focusing on the disease but on healing instead, Béchamp witnessed the pathogens doing the same. When he concentrated on the disease, however, and literally tried to combat it, the pathogens proved themselves to be the worst enemy. He showed that micro-organisms are the bridge between life and death, and the stage in between — disease.“~Mike Donkers, Understanding the True Meaning of Disease

Your Healthy Dog, Pt. 2
Episode #50, Repost from 2019, Season 1. We're continuing on with this 5-part series, this is Part Two. In this one I share more on why dogs (all animals) need to be fed their species appropriate nutrition in order to be healthy - regardless of who says otherwise. Dig deep as I suggest in this episode to learn the TRUTH. I also go into some details on toxins that prohibit their good health. This is just a sampling:
“Dogs and cats often eat food processing and packaging chemicals that contaminate their food, day after day and year after year, resulting in cumulative exposures with unknown health risks (FDA CVM 2008b).”

Healing in Mischief
Repost, Episode 86, Season 2, September 23, 2019. This time I get to share my wonderful friend, Kathy Lacey with you and her journey into caring for her own animals naturally. We talk about how we met, how she learned to help ALL her animals, and the steps it took for her to get to where she is now. I hope this encourages those of you who think it's easy for practitioners since this is what we do as a profession, but hard for the everyday pet owner to do this - Kathy lays that to rest to prove it's possible!
You can find Kathy on Instagram @kathylacey.333 and also on FB under her name.

Why Can't We All Just Get Along?
Episode 76, Repost from July 20, 2019, Season 2. This episode was done in my hotel room at the Young Living Convention in UT with two great friends (Wendy Lovas & Breanne Altherr) who also happen to be graduates of the school in animal naturopathy my colleague Dr. Jeannie and I founded and ran for 8 years. This episode is all about us learning to grow together and even while we may have varying opinions and even beliefs, we are able to be good friends and actually have a discussion on how to move forward with the best care for our animals. I hope you enjoy listening in to our late night conversation sitting on my bed lol, discussing some of our favorite topics: animals, natural health, and oils!
Find Wendy on Instagram @solansspirit and on FB as herself. Breanne you can find on her website (she doesn't pay much attention to IG but she is under her name on FB).

Why Do Our Dogs STILL Get Sick?
Repost from 2019, Episode #69, Season 2. This time I talk about the things that could be further causing our dogs to still "get" sick, even when we're doing all the right things with them: carnivore nutrition, reducing the toxins, etc.

Nothing New Under the Sun
Repost from March 2019, Season 2, Episode #60. This is another episode featuring my good friend, retired veterinarian Dr. Hugh Bassham, the author of Better Health and a Plan to Achieve It. In this episode Dr. Bassham shares two stories pertaining to our health and that of our animals that are set 100 years apart. The common thread between the two centers around toxins masquerading as beneficial - BOTH added to our food. That folks is not by accident either.
Quote: "Pioneers are buried in unmarked graves." ~Paul Harvey
Another book we mention in this episode besides Dr. Bassham's is by retired neurosurgeon, Dr. Russell Blaylock, titled, "Excitotoxins: The Taste That Kills".

The Bigger the Lie
Repost from March 2019, Episode #59, Season 2. It's interesting that I recorded this a full year before all hell literally broke loose on this planet. I already knew what was coming because I had a great veterinarian friend share his immense wisdom with me years before in 2009. He didn't live to see this, but I'm glad he prepared me...God just took it SO much deeper, wider, and higher as only He can do.

Trust or Fear? Pt2
Repost from 2019, Season 2, Episode #80. This is another audio from my former podcast with my colleague/co-host Dr. Jeannie, we go into more of the solutions this time. This is Part 2 of a 2 part series. Learning to trust for health, rather than fear disease.

Trust or Fear? Pt 1

Treat Disease or Promote Health?
Repost from Season 2, 2019, Episode #68 - originally recorded in 2017. This was recorded with my former co-host, colleague, business partner and BFF, Dr. Jeannie Thomason on our former podcast. This ties in to the last few episodes, especially since they were all originally released in 2019.
Side note - the reason I'm reposting from Seasons 1-2 is that none of those episodes transferred when I moved hosting. Those were pivotal in helping listeners learn what is natural, whole health aka naturopathy. In this episode, we go into the differences between practitioners.
A practitioner we mention is Dr. Mercedes Colburn, who is a personal friend of ours. She mapped the equine, canine and feline eyes for iridology.

Pesticides & Herbicides
Repost from Season 2, 2019, Episode #66. This time I go into a lot of the reasons why using these type of products really just isn't wise. In the long run, they cause so much damage to us, our animals and the planet in general. What you may not know, but after these last two years our eyes really ought to be opened by now - this has ALL (and I mean ALL) been by design and planned. Call me a conspiracy theorist and I'll tell you that the difference between a conspiracy theory and conspiracy TRUTH is about 6 months.

Naturopathy is a Lifestyle - NOT a Method!
Repost from Season 1, 2018, Episode #18. This was another of the last episodes I did with my former colleague, business partner, co-host and BFF. We loved talking about this subject together - even though I always did most of the talking on the podcast, she inspired me just with her presence. This is a more passionate episode as a result and it has encouraged me to move forward with what she and started so many years ago together. Even though she's no longer on this earth, she is definitely cheering me on from heaven and I'm fully partnered with God now so it's an exciting time - we shall see where this all leads. I hope you gain value and enjoy this episode.

Broken Dogs
Repost from 2018, Episode #41. This is a short but intense episode as my heart was breaking into pieces knowing that our Carolina Dog girl, Schatzie was making that trek we all must take one day. I titled this "broken dogs" but in reality they were whole in ways we aspire to! Here are some links on the dogs I mention:

Barking, Howling, Quail Call Zoomies!
Repost, August 22, 2018 (actually originally recorded in 2016), Episode #7. This is a short and funny espisode about our American Bully King who is now 10 1/2 years old! So he isn't so into zoomies anymore but once in a while he gets going and it's still very funny. He also still plays the howling game I share in this episode. Plus, does this funny bark that I taught him to do by repeating it every time my husband comes home from somewhere. He sounds very much like he's saying, "Where were you?" I have video proof lol.
Once a friend was here cutting my hair and brought her daughter to visit. They didn't believe King could speak English hahaha. We had him in the bedroom with a gate up so my husband could take them to meet 'n' greet him. He asked clearly if he could come out and my husband Donnie said the faces of my friend and her daughter showed their astonishment LOL. Donnie told King he couldn't come out and he then replied, "How come?" And that's when the two REALLY lost it hahaha! King's quite the character - funny, kind, lovable, strong, brave and also very considerate not to mention so dang smart! We're blessed to have him grace our home!

In the Absence of Food
Repost from 2018, Episode #27. This completes this latest series on food but that doesn't mean I won't have any more to add to this haha! This time we focus on one of the laws of health that is most often either overlooked or ignored: REST. Rest as in good sleep yes, quiet, no EMF interrupting devices, lights, etc. However, it also means rest from food. Allowing the digestion to rest so the body can heal and restore itself.

It All Started With Food, Pt2
Repost from 2018, Episode #25. This continues on from last week's show! What's interesting is now I'm seeing this being taught in human health also by those in ministry. I'm SO glad as this is SO important!

It All Started With Food, Pt 1
Repost from 2018, Episode #23. This is also another episode with my former co-host, colleague, business partner and BFF, Dr. Jeannie Thomason. We tackle the issue of true healthcare as we always did, and go all the way back to Eden when this whole nonsense started with food. This segues from the 3-part series on nutrition I recently shared.

History of Pets in America
Repost from Season 1, 2018, Episode #13. This episode is actually from 2008 on my former podcast, Animal Talk Naturally, with my colleague/co-host/business partner/BFF, Dr. Jeannie Thomason. Our guest was Kathryn Grier who is the author of The History of Pets in America and was a museum curator at the time.
This was such a fun and enlightening interview and very educational as well. Things I never knew - our pets haven't always been the same pets they are now which in the majority are cats and dogs. Cats and dogs were very much working class animals. Cats were used to keep mice and others in check, dogs were used for herding, guarding, hunting, etc.
Kathryn shares so much of her research in this episode plus at the time she was researching kibble and how it all came to be. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as we did!
I mentioned this episode on last week's episode plus three other episodes that will be coming up in the next 3 weeks.

Experimentation Under a Veiled Guise
Repost, Episode #40, December 2018. This episode may upset people, but truth often does. You see, this was recorded BEFORE all that has gone down the last two years, but it sure is timely for now. It's something I've taught along with my colleague/former co-host & business partner, who sadly passed away in March, since 2004. Yet, somehow we've arrived at this time in history where nothing is as it appears.
There is an old quote that goes something like this: "The truth is still the truth even if no one believes it; a lie is still a lie even if everyone believes it."
Blog post: https://www.aspenbloompetcare.com/2018/12/experimentation-or-healthcare/

Their Nature, Their Needs
Repost, Episode #29, from October 23, 2018. Re-listening to these for me brought me back to my original passion for blogging and podcasting - for them. For the animals. For their needs. For their health and well-being. This episode is all about that exact thing!
Blog post: https://www.aspenbloompetcare.com/2018/10/animals-can-self-medicate/
It's time for these reposts since I'm being asked again about the very things I address in these (the last few, this one and the upcoming ones). I hope this blesses you and your pets!

Lost but Now Found
This is a repost from Season 1, Episode #48, 2019. This is the story of how both my American Bully King, and my first Carolina Dog, Schatzie came to live with us and how I nearly lost BOTH of them on the same day! Additionally we were waiting on a new Great Dane puppy we were going to name Ezra due to the loss of our former Great Dane Meshach. This was back in 2013. Interestingly enough we eventually DID get an Ezra in 2019, but he came in the form of a very wild and cantankerous Carolina Dog puppy rather than a Great Dane. This story is one of redemption, forgiveness, and fresh starts!

Badittude or Bubbatude
This is a repost from Season 1, Episode #26, originally recorded in 2016 on another podcast I had. This is all about how my amazing American Bully dog, King, helped me go from a bad attitude to a positively Bubby one (that's his nickname lol). I also share the MANY essential oil blends I used to actually help ME since it was because of King I was able to see where I needed some adjustments.
Sidenote: I know that it's far better to receive the whole new creation I have in Christ than try to fix my old nature, but this episode is part of my journey and I hope it helps you as it did me.

The Business of Sickness
Repost. This is Episode #14, Season 1, recorded September 20, 2018. In this episode my good friend, retired veterinarian Dr. Hugh Bassham (author of Better Health and a Plan to Achieve It) and I discuss healthcare as what it has become: the business of sickness rather than health. We share from our years (Dr. Bassham has close to 60 years in this profession) of being in healthcare, how we ended up in this place and what is the solution.

Man in the Mirror
This is Episode 11, Season 1 from 2018. In this episode, we spoke with our good friend, veterinarian Dr. Hugh Bassham about the rise in veterinary suicides. We discussed this as both practitioners and pet owners and our roles for both.
Short video mentioned: You Are Being Brainwashed
While I no longer have the original article there are quite a lot of articles available now on this subject of "veterinary suicides" - just do an internet search for it and sadly you'll see it's all too common.

Focus on Health
This is episode 10, Season 1 repost from 2018 as that year is no longer available here. This is Part 3 of 3 in this series. The focus/thinking this time is on health rather than disease. It's about mindset and shifting our focus off of what we don't want (disease) but tend to focus on far too much, onto what we do want - HEALTH.
Part 1 - Correct Nutrition
Part 2 - The Dog in Front of You

The Dog in Front of You
This is episode 9, Season 1 - repost from 2018 as that year is no longer available here. This is Part 2 of this 3 part series. This time I go into what I believe to be nonsense about the species needs of dogs - the thing is, each dog IS unique and does have unique needs or quirks as does each being on this planet. However, that said, dogs are still carnivores no matter what and we can't decide to make them be whatever we want just because we want that. In fact that seems to be a big issue in society today - basing our beliefs upon what we WANT them to be rather than on TRUTH. Part 1 is The Correct Nutrition. Part 3 is Focus on Health. If this hits a nerve, then good because that's what it took for me as well.

Correct Nutrition
This is episode 8, Season 1 - repost from 2018 as that year is no longer available here. LOL sounds like I was a bit amped up on this three part series. This is part one, even though the title on each episode of this series is different, they all tie in together. Part 2 is The Dog in Front of You. Part 3 is Focus on Health. If this hits a nerve, then good because that's what it took for me as well.
If you need more information, use these search terms: raw fed, nutrition, naturally reared dogs on my website

Dream Horses
This is a repost from 2020, Episode #110. Since I was a little girl I have dreamed of horses - not just of having them but literally dreamed about them. Sometimes I'd close my eyes when I went to bed and imagine myself on a horse and then I'd dream about that horse. So these two dreams I am sharing in this episode were so impactful - I hope you gain something from this too, especially if you are a horse lover. The true message though is about more than horses which will segue into a new episode next week! Be blessed!

Weird Animal Girl
This is a repost of Season 1, Episode 2 from 2018, that didn't make it to the transition over here. This episode is about a derogatory term I was called as a child and how I turned it around. I I helped a friend do likewise - she sadly passed away in 2019 but she owned this concept totally. I hope this encourages you during a time in this world we really need that!

Toto, What Did You Find?
This is episode #175. This time I go down the rabbit hole some...but more I encourage you, the listener to do so! This is related to a very controversial new documentary that came out this week - but what isn't controversial these days? Still, this one is super important...for those who desire to KNOW the Truth.

Farewell to Dr. Jeannie Thomason
This is episode 174. My long time friend, colleague, former business partner, former podcast co-host and pioneer in animal naturopathy and natural rearing, Dr. Jeannie Thomason, passed away March 9, 2022. This is my tribute to her. It brought me out of hibernation with a desire to go forward to continue her legacy.
I shared snippets on various topics she was passionate about from some of our earliest episodes in 2006, with at least one in our later years. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did putting it together. I cried a lot and laughed too. It brought back so much for me and inspired me to finally get back in the game and continue on.
I'll always love and miss you Jeannie girl until we meet again my sister friend.

Free Wellness, Naturally!
This is a bonus add-back-in from 2019 that I'd removed to use elsewhere. It is episode 61 from Season 1.
"The greatest day in your life and mine is when we take total responsibility for our attitudes. That's the day we truly grow up". ~John C. Maxwell
In this audio I share various ways we can improve our health through our attitude choices, and things as simple as a hug, a smile, laughter, dancing, singing and more! Couple that with essential oils and WOW!
These are so simple some are going to think this is insane...but remember it is nature's way. Simplicity, not complicity. Not complicated. Simple. And for the science buffs, these are all proven scientifically.
I have found that essential oils play a critical role in supporting us in releasing the trapped emotions within our bodies allowing for vibrational wellness to return. That is because essential oils get to the root of of removing locked emotions. Emotions dictate to us what we can or can't accomplish as I have learned through Dr. Allen's teachings. As I use the essential oils to support my emotional release, I do so prayerfully and with focused intention. I am amazed at all that has been able to transpire in my own life as a result. Lots of baggage being released; besides I prefer to travel light.

Silver and Gold
This is episode 173. You either have heard the song or have seen the animated movie, or maybe not lol. However, this episode is about much more than the Christmas movie song of the same title. While this message is short, I hope it packs a little punch for you to prepare for what is coming in 2022. Be blessed!

Essential Oils for Calming
Bonus episode 4. Calming for dogs and their people. Especially now during this time of year when people seem to get more stressed out rather than more cheerful. It's "JOY to the world" folks. It's "have yourself a MERRY little Christmas". It's "silent night, HOLY night, ALL is CALM." So let's do that!! Hopefully this message will help you to do exactly that. When we're calm, our dogs will be calm too.

Animals, Healing and Faith
Here is bonus episode #3 for you. This time, I share yet another blast from my podcasting past but this time there is a very definite spiritual reason that I don't even mention until the very end of the episode! This is from my former long running podcast, Animal Talk Naturally, that I shared with my colleague and co-host. This episode features my long-time friend once again, Dr. Hugh Bassham, who has since retired (recorded in March 2012). What a fantastic wealth of wisdom he learned and now shares whenever he has the opportunity. I'm very grateful to him and our friendship. It was good to hear my former co-host, Dr. Jeannie share her own stories on this podcast too since she was often very quiet (by her own choice) on the podcast.

DIG Into the Foundation of Health
This week we'll go into the laws of health which are actually loaded with vibrational frequencies as you'll discover through upcoming episodes. You can find more about the laws of health under the category on my website of the same name: Laws of Health Category
This is episode 168.
8 Laws of Health
*Nutrition is the foundation of health – according to species needs, not appetite, not convenience but what is needed to thrive.
*Fresh air daily – get outside and breath the air. NOT indoor air, outside air unless that is too toxic and then diffuse essential oils.
*Pure water daily – not chlorinated, fluoridated tap water but pure, clean fresh water.
*Exercise - it is NOT optional. God made us all to be ACTIVE and MOVE - animals /pets included.
*Proper rest – without all the electronic devices invading our rest, turn them off.
*Sunshine – without the toxic sunscreens we’re told to use…that is another reason we’re also so Vitamin D depleted. But in moderation - bathing not baking. Watch the animals as they know how get their sunshine! Job 12:7-10
*Moderation - all things are to be done in moderation, or tempered. I think of this as pruning as God "tempers" my steps.
*Proper attitude which means to TRUST in the previous seven laws to work (especially during the detoxification process) and trust in God.

Full Circle
Hello everyone, I took a VERY long hiatus from the podcast as I wasn't sure I'd continue. So much was happening this summer as you all know. I'm back, a little differently. This episode will enlighten you to the direction. Upcoming episodes which I mention plus past ones I'd removed to use in courses (which I am no longer offering), will be added back. The flavor of this podcast will become evident. I hope you'll stay TUNED in to stay TUNED up!
While this is episode 165 the number of episodes here doesn't reflect that. Episodes WILL be added back regularly. I've missed you, and above all else my heart is for you AND your dog(s) to BE well.

Kings and Priests
This week on Episode 164, Donnie is back with me in a role playing, script-based interaction. We are "performing" (lol if you can call it that) in first dog! Yep, King Bubba and Priest Ezra needed our voices to articulate in human American English for them hehe. They have a blog post out that they wanted voiced (although Ezra does a loud bark in it too) for humans to hear since it's really all about us and our walk in faith. Dogs can teach us much if we're willing to listen!

Sing a NEW Song!
This week on Episode 163, Donnie wasn't with me again but rather I shared a message that God has put on my heart for ALL of those who are His followers. I shared on...
1. The idea
2. Vibrations and frequencies
3. The miracle of all of this
4. Singing praises to our King!

Better Health
This week on Episode 162, Donnie wasn't with me but instead my good friend, veterinarian Dr. Hugh Bassham joined me once again! It was a pleasure to have him share his personal message of better health. He has a book of the same name titled, "Better Health and A Plan to Achieve It" that is absolutely perfect for such a time as this.
1. We talked about what total and better health is and what that entails
2. Our personal views and how what we're being told is good for our health via media (and government) is NOT!
3. And the simple solutions
Books mentioned (including Dr. Bassham's of course since this was the focus and topic of today's podcast):
1. Better Health and a Plan to Achieve It by Dr. Hugh Bassham
2. The Supernatural Power of Music by Len Mink
3. Redeeming Your Timeline by Troy Brewer
Donnie will be back with me - he's not going to be quite as regular, but OFTEN which makes me happy. We have a funny episode we want to do next which features both King and Ezra. We decided to not do a specific show on Ezra since I've already done several and we are still in major learning mode with this dog!

She Found Us
This week on Episode 161, we talk about our amazing Carolina Dog girl, Schatzie. She came into our lives in a beautiful, wild way and exactly what I know I (Kim) needed!
1. We talked about how she came to live with us
2. Her relationship with King
3. Her amazing-ness. It's hard to think of her as anything but amazing

Our Buddy Dude
This week on Episode 160, we talk about special American Bully boy, King. He is our big "little man" Buddy Dude. The pic is him wearing his superman cape that I mention in the show.
1. We talked about how he came to live with us
2. His role in our family
3. And Donnie has a special thing he relays about King - something I didn't even know until he shared it on this podcast!
Blog Post written in 2013 about King - which means it's probably more accurate than what we shared today lol as memory fades with age: https://www.aspenbloompetcare.com/2013/02/meet-king/
Next week we'll focus on our girl, the only girl we've had since we've been married, Schatzie. She was the most amazing dog and together with King they made the most beautiful duet!

You Ain't Gotta Eat It!
This week on Episode 159, we talk about FOOD. As in DOG food. As in REAL dog food. As in CARNIVORE food.
To break it down a bit:
1. We talked about how we got started with Shadrach
2. How we source our food
3. How we counter the naysayers - or at least a couple of them
4. We especially worked to make it simple, but also I did offer and mention my own resource for you, Real Nutrition for Our Dogs.

Through the Fire
This week on Episode 158, we talk about another of our former amazing dog's, Meshach. This journey of ours with his was not only very difficult because of what he went through, but also because it was not just a physical problem but a spiritual one. So we open this podcast with prayer.
This week we talked about:
1. How Meshach came to us - that in and of itself was a miracle (they always are).
2. Meshach's ambassadorship
3. The spiritual journey he took us on, in particular me, Dr. Kim, that I never knew I needed to know, but then that's what ALL our dogs do for both of us!

QUOTES
“By vaccinating every individual animal and not allowing it to develop its own immunity, we are effectively preventing the passing of the immunity to the future generations. A vaccine is always made from the most virulent form of the virus since pharmaceutical companies jump on the wagon as soon as the disease appears and the level of fear is at its highest. While in nature this virus would have mutated into a less virulent form, it does not do so in the vaccine. Generations of animals are therefore injected with the worst form of the virus and stripped of their natural immune response which would have been passed onto subsequent generations. What is passed forward instead is deformed DNA, and the destruction of the species must ensue. Vaccinated mothers do not pass on herd immunity, which then puts pups in greater danger of contracting disease while they are very young. By attempting to save the individual animal, we are effectively destroying the species. A healthy species is able to survive without human interference and we are taking that ability away from our animals." ~Aleksandra Mikic, DMH, DVH, DPh
"Mercury and aluminum are PROTEIN MUTATORS in their own right and DNA is PROTEIN! Related genomes will respond in RELATED FASHION so breeds that have related genomes respond to the assault in the same fashion making it LOOK like a breed or tribe thing but it is in reality a RELATED GENE DAMAGE THING: chronic diarrhea, parasitism, leaky gut, food allergies, IBD, pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer, and anal gland saculitis are all autoimmune issues and this means induced by the vaccines".~Patricia Jordan, DVM
"80% of disease in our dogs occur within 3 months of vaccinating". ~Dr. Chris Day
"Our new grads don't know a heck of a lot more about vaccines than our older grads. And I've figured out why this is. They know a lot more about basic immunology, but they don't know about vaccinology and the two are not the same. Also, they're taught by people generally that know nothing about vaccinology. Now, when do they get their vaccine training? During their fourth year. And who's giving that? The veterinarians that know how to give vaccines, that still don't know about vaccinology. So we haven't gone very far from where we were ten years ago or twenty years ago with regard to training veterinarians about vaccines." ~Ronald Schultz, PhD, leading veterinary vaccine researcher during a 2009 Pet Vaccine Seminar

The Shad, Part 2
This week on Episode 157, we talk about our former amazing dog, Shadrach aka Shad. He is the primary reason I began my journey into natural health in earnest. This is a continuation of last week's episode. Here is the link to Part 1 https://doggonetruth.podbean.com/e/the-shad-part-1/
This week we talked about:
1. How Donnie figured out the true illness that Shadrach was suffering from and how that escalated into the work I now do.
2. How we switched Shadrach to a raw diet and natural lifestyle.
3. His fall down an arroyo that led us even deeper into natural health - if we hadn't he wouldn't have lived past his 7th birthday! Which led us deeper into our essential oils journey too!

The Shad, Part 1
This week on Episode 156, we talk about our former amazing dog, Shadrach aka Shad. He is the primary reason I began my journey into natural health in earnest. We left out so much that we have decided to do a Part 2 next week. Here is the link to Part Two https://doggonetruth.podbean.com/e/the-shad-part-2/
A reminder that our podcast is unscripted and I have zero idea what Donnie is going to say ever but he has no idea what I'll say either. This week we talked about:
1. How we got Shadrach during a tragedy in my family.
2. Initial challenges with him that were really about (as it always seems to be) exposing something I need to reckon with in my own life.
3. Shadrach's illness that led me straight into natural health without hesitation
4. How he saved his own life and Donnie's one morning
And a whole lot more!
Shadrach's NEW blog post:
https://www.aspenbloompetcare.com/2021/03/healing-comes-from-joy/
Next week we'll cover ...
As I said last week, we'll be sharing each dog that we've had together, and then we'll be going down rabbit holes as Donnie has a way of saying things in a way I can't or don't!

The Raw Golden
Okay we are back in earnest this week for Episode 155. I'll be honest and say I felt out of my element as I had grown used to being the only host for the last 2.5 years.
Keep in mind, our podcast is unscripted and I have zero idea what Donnie is going to say lol. I might appear snarky with him at times but trust me, it's just how he and I jest with one another ALL DAY LONG EVERY DAY! Thank you for joining us!
I feel we missed a few points which I'll point out here and hope that you READ these:
1. Jesus is always intended to be the center of every episode. Donnie just zeroed in on raw feeding which he is strong in sharing. I am grateful for that though. So we will be working out our "groove" in the coming episodes no doubt!
2. Ezra did whine through a lot of the podcast this time - which he's never done before because usually he's with King and Donnie in another room. We made the mistake of putting King in another room because we didn't want them to get into one of their LOUD wrestling matches or tag lol. So when Donnie was talking I was petting and stroking Ezra, and when I was talking Donnie was, but if we forgot him for a moment he'd whine. He wanted King in the room too so that's how it will be going forward - King Bubba and Priest Ezra TOGETHER.
3. We left out a whole lot of the middle because honestly, some of our story is just not so pretty unless viewed through the lens of the Cross of Jesus Christ - which not everyone will do. So there you have it.
Fridge's Team Page: https://www.aspenbloompetcare.com/team-member/fridge-the-golden-retriever/
Fridge's Story: https://www.aspenbloompetcare.com/2015/10/a-tale-of-three-dogs-part-one/
Fridge was such an awesome dog and we felt it was time for him to be included in the list of our amazing Teacher Dogs - of which they ALL have been and continue to be. In fact, they will ALL (current dogs and angel dogs) be doing the blogging for me on my blog! Shadrach impacted so many that often when I share his photos on FB, I get so many saying how much HE helped them - yes him not me. So I aim to allow them free rein!

Can You DIG It?!
YAY, I...um WE are back! Yep, I've got a new co-host and after this short introduction episode, we'll be in back in full production. The solution I was needing, wanting and praying about was right in front of me the whole time. I announced this on FB last week and the response was SO positive. LOL it made me laugh in a way and humbled me in another (always needed) because this new co-host is what has gotten people to say, YES I'll listen in!
Buckle your seatbelts, it's going to be a wild ride!
And while you're at it, check out our DOGgone Truth Club in audio of course!

The Path to the Lighthouse
This week on Episode 154,This topic I’m sharing today has been on my heart a long time but since we are in the darkest age I’ve ever lived through I thought, well it’s a good time to share this law of health of again: SUNLIGHT and SON Light!
Quotes:
Darkness only thrives as long as the environment is conducive to its existence. When you and Jesus walk on the scene everything changes.” ~Author Unknown

Diagnoses Don't Define Our Pets
This week on Episode 153, is on the labels we put on our pets based on diagnoses received. This is a grave mistake in my opinion. There is a far better way to THINK about our animals no matter what diagnosis they receive. This is in large part the road to recovery.

Walking in Truth
On episode 152, way back from 2009, a wise friend who passed away in January of 2011 shared this podcast with me on my former podcast. His name was Dr. Johan Joubert, a veterinarian in South Africa - not the one who is currently working with the large cats. The name is common there so please don't confuse them. Dr. Joubert was my friend and hearing all he has to say on this podcast is chilling and prophetic as much of what he said has come to pass in 2020.
I don't share his website as it is no longer available and sadly all of his great work is mostly gone as well. You may find some of his articles on veterinarian Dr. Tom Lonsdale's site at http://www.rawmeatybones.com
Dr. Joubert references this in the podcast:
QUOTE
"Conspiracy theorists of the world, believers in the hidden hands of the Rothschilds and the Masons and the Illuminati, we skeptics owe you an apology. You were right. The players may be a little different, but your basic premise is correct: The world is a rigged game." ~Matt Taibbi

Flying in Midair
This week on Episode 151, this is Chapter Twenty-Five of my book, Animals Taught Me That. This chapter is about one incident with a hawk when we first moved to what was our desert retreat house. I say was because LOTS of houses and businesses have sprung up since so it's not as quiet or peaceful as it was 12 years ago. Nevertheless, I'm still grateful for all the encounters with wildlife we have had here and continue to do so. The photo with this episode is of a hawk sitting on our wall in our front yard this past summer.
Also in this episode is the AfterWord and Conclusion even though there is still one more chapter in this book (see below) - Shadrach the Neo Mastiff...Nuthin' But the Dog in Him. It was actually the first chapter I recorded a couple of years ago so don't miss it!

Desert Dogs
This week on Episode 150, this is Chapter Twenty-Four of my book, Animals Taught Me That. This chapter is about the wild desert dogs (aka coyotes) that live in my area. WE encroached on THEIR territory but they manage to survive anyway. I tell of one up close and personal encounter I've had with them, but I've since had many since the writing of this book. The photo with this episode is one I took of the female coyote who followed me and my Great Dane, Meshach one morning that I mention in this episode. She wasn't the last one to follow me and I'm sure she won't be the last.

This week on Episode 147, this episode was recorded in December of 2009 on my former long-running podcast, Animal Talk Naturally with my co-host Dr. Jeannie Thomason for our 3rd Annual Christmas show we titled, Redemption. We had guest Kristie Jones, with giveaways and music (see below). It was fun as they always are - this was Part 1 as these shows were always 2 hour events. I hope you enjoy and are enjoying your holidays and celebrating the end of the most challenging year ever, 2020.

Park Paws
This week on Episode 146, this is Chapter Twenty-Two of my book, Animals Taught Me That. This chapter is about primarily dogs I encountered at the park I ran at for ten years, plus one very special kitty, and a stinky surprise! This brought back all those memories for me and all but one were such good memories.
While I feel I did beat myself up a lot in this book, I hope you come away inspired and encouraged instead. To know how much God loves you and His animal kingdom. As a friend told me recently be grateful for all the lessons they teach us - good, bad and ugly.

When Animals Attack!
This week on Episode 145, this is Chapter Twenty-One of my book, Animals Taught Me That. This chapter is about a variety of animals that all decided I was a worthy target for one reason or another. I am fortunate as only one, our own family cat, actually did go through with the attack. However, I learned a lot more about animals through all of this as well as what we allow into our eyes and minds plays a huge role in what we attract into our lives too.

Rest is a LAW of Health
This week on Episode 144, I went sort of out of the norm although of course I did talk about our dogs but also a lot about us. I was sort of all over the place but it all comes together if you listen to the whole message. How to heal simply and as cost effectively as possible - it's in this law of health that God mandated for our well being and the animals. The thing is, I'm not talking about sleeping lol although that IS part of the law of health. Just listen in and be patient, as I do get to it all weaving in stories as usual.

Spices, Feathers, Fins, and Fur
This week on Episode 143, this is Chapter Nineteen of my book, Animals Taught Me That. This chapter is about a variety of species who also happened to leave a lasting impression upon my animal loving heart. I hope they not only do that for you, but also encourage you to remember and share your own stories of the animals who've left lasting impressions upon your own life.

Canine Capers
This week on Episode 142, this is Chapter Eighteen of my book, Animals Taught Me That. This chapter is all about the various dogs that have been in my life over the years that were NOT mine, but I loved them as if they were. Some are sad, some show the real dysfunction of my family life, some are fun and funny, but the ever constant was and is the love of dogs.

Orange Tabby Trinity
This week on Episode 140, this is Chapter Seventeen of my book, Animals Taught Me That. This chapter is about three very special cats, orange tabbies to be exact! While only one of the three was mine, each one indelibly left their feline pawprint upon my heart. There is so much in these stories that I know I'd do differently now, but that is the journey we call life. I've been fortunate to have had so many animals gracing my own journey.

Equine Escapades
This week on Episode 138, this is Chapter Sixteen of my book, Animals Taught Me That. This chapter is about several very special horses - aren't they all - that passed into and through my life over the years. My love of this animal has never grown cold and never will. Horses were my first animal love and will always remain so with dogs neck and neck with them! There are both sad and happy stories in this book - I never stray from the truth, but I always try to leave people with hope also.

The Prankster Pup
This week on Episode 137, this is Chapter fifteen of my book, Animals Taught Me That. This story is about my special, prankster pup, Shadrach the Neo Mastiff! He inspired me to even want to write this book. Sharing this story with you brought back such good memories of the time I got to spend with him. He changed my life forever and I'm so grateful my husband and I got the privilege of sharing our home with this larger than life boy. While my workouts have changed from what I share in this episode, and I've had several dogs since Shadrach passed away in 2011, this story lives on in my heart until I am reunited with him once again in eternity.

Rant Against the Machine, Pt1
This week on Episode 135, I'm sharing ANOTHER blast from my not so distant past but it is so appropriate for today. My former co-host and colleague and I share our response to several articles that came up for discussion in our school group. Of course it all centered on what is called health care for animals but often is anything but that. This is Part 1 of this 2 part series.

Celebrating Health
This week on Episode 132, this time I took a trip down memory lane again and I'm really glad I did. Even though this episode was recorded in 2010, it's so appropriate for today. The focus is on health not illness. Not getting well, but rather BEING well - something I'll be sharing more and more on in upcoming podcasts.
Our guest was now retired veterinarian, Dr. Hugh Bassham, author of Better Health and a Plan to Achieve It
Another book we mentioned is Healing Oils of the Bible by Dr. David Stewart (a book I've read 3 times - yes it's that good!)

This week on Episode 129, this is Chapter Nine of my book, Animals Taught Me That. This chapter is about a beautiful little soul I named Floppsy. She was our family dog and a very special girl who I seem to appreciate far better now in my older years than I did when I was young.

The Research Facility
This week on Episode 128, this is Chapter Eight of my book, Animals Taught Me That. This chapter is another of those "hard" ones for me. It entails me working at a research facility when I was 18 years old (a LONG time ago). I'm glad that was my only experience in this field, but I also know I can speak from experience when I share why I'm against this especially in light of what I witnessed and learned.

The Vagus Nerve and Your Dog's Health, Pt2
This week on Episode 127, I took ANOTHER break from my book chapters to share this two-part message on the vagus nerve. It might be something you already know about or maybe it's all new to you. I hope you'll DIG in and learn yet one more aspect of either what may be hindering your dog's health and well being (or your own), or just add more insight to your own knowledge for maintaining your dog's health. This is Part 2, of this two part series.

Working at the Pet Store
This week on Episode 125, this is Chapter Six of my book, Animals Taught Me That. This chapter is about several of the animals that were in the pet store I was working in as a teenager - long ago in a galaxy far, far away lol. This story has all the emotions - funny, sad, and everything in between. While it was a very long time ago for me, it is still fresh in my mind today. My hope is as always is to educate as well as enlighten.

The Cisco Kids
This week on Episode 123, this is Chapter Five of my book, Animals Taught Me That. This chapter is about two very special dogs, one a German Shepherd puppy, the other a mixed breed German Shepherd puppy. This is not one of those feel good stories, but rather it's about exposing lack of commitment and responsibility to the detriment of these two dogs. Journey with me into another dark place in my own life, which I hope helps you avoid doing likewise.

While it's both a fun and a sad story, I hope you still learn just how much these special creatures give to us in our lives.

Pets at the Pearly Gates
This week on Episode 119, I'm sharing another blast from the past. This time I wanted to share one from WAY back in 2008 for one reason: to help some friends who are going through a hard loss of their beloved pets right now. They want to know if they'll be in heaven. I hope this will give some insights and encouragement for those desiring to know. We did a series of these type episodes on my former podcast which I'm happy to share here.
Scripture: "But now ask the beasts, and they will teach you; and the birds of the air, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you; and the fish of the sea will explain to you. Who among all these does not know that the hand of the Lord has done this, in whose hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind." ~Job 12:7-10, NKJV

A Matter of Life
This week on Episode 116, I'm sharing another blast from the past. I can't believe how many podcasts we did leading up to this year that were almost prophetic in nature. Hmmm, maybe they were! This one is all about speaking life versus death, focusing on health and wellness rather than illness and disease. It's about LIFE, LOVE, TRUTH. And a whole lot involved talking about dogs of course!
Scripture: "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit." ~Proverbs 18:21, NKJV

NOT a New Normal!
This week on Episode 115, I'm talking about what is currently going on in this world but using my own personal story with my puppy Ezra which I've not shared publicly before anywhere. This one was hard for me and yet relieving as well. While being transparent and vulnerable is always hard and opens us up to the critics, it also I pray gives hope to those who may be really struggling with a lot of things right not during this challenging and very uncomfortable time in history for the entire world.
Quotes:
Brene Brown: “You can choose courage or you can choose comfort, but you can’t have both.”
Emerson said "The wise man in the storm prays to God, not for safety from danger, but for deliverance from fear." (I meant to share this one and forgot!)

The Parasite Fear
This week on Episode 113, I'm sharing on what so many people fear, especially this time of year: pests and parasites. I think the world is in fear in this lockdown. Hopefully this topic will help release some fear so faith can reside there instead.
Quotes:
